FamilyRe: My 2 Months Old Marriage Is Crashing - HELP ME by olorogun1: 5:11am On Apr 10, 2015
I tried to read some of the comments here and I actually skipped some, maybe what am about to say has already been pointed out I wouldn't know, at OP, please who's actually the head of that your house/home?,I mean who's actually the husband? I asked this question because these days in most homes the wife assumes the post of the husband by being in the fore-front,playing the lead role, sustaining and making sure you guys (family)are comfortable, not because she actually enjoy to do so but simply because that's the situation she finds herself,in all of these some men will still want their wife to be as submissive/respectful as a wife should, believe me it would take a God fearing woman to do that.
You need to check yourself also, fine, you've identified the flaws of your wife, what are your own shortcomings too, though sometimes you actually need someone to point out these things to you because you might be right in your own judgment and the reverse is always the case, ask your wife for those things you do that always makes her change attitude like someone said (sit her down to talk to).ask her how she wants you to improve and work on yourself,do same to her.and if in all of these the symptom persist pls consult her parents/ siblings/your pastor/imam.but pls rule out divorce it's almost the same everywhere.some marriage are even worse than yours.please don't mind my English communication ooo lo matter.

Business9 Ways To Make Millions In 2014 by olorogun1(op): 4:14am On Jan 06, 2014
9 ways to make a Million in 2014.
It's a safe bet that more ink and paper have been expended in the name of how to make money than just about any topic. In case you're wondering why, here's a hint: Do you know how the dollar sign originated? Try overlapping the letters U and S, as in United States.
Capitalism and the American Dream are both alive and well, and with good reason. Who would have thought basic staples like food, shelter, transportation and healthcare would cost so damn much? We used to think of a millionaire as rich. Pretty soon that's going to be the poverty level.
So how do you get ahead — and stay ahead — of the ever-increasing cost of living? Surprisingly enough, there's no secret to making big bucks. The problem is people want it to be easy, like a winning lottery ticket, a magic formula for timing the stock market or a get-rich-quick pill.
Sorry to break this to you, but you live in the real world, not a fantasy novel. And while there is no silver bullet for making it big, it isn't rocket science, either — unless you happen to be Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk. For the rest of us, this is how real people make gobs of money in the real world.
(1.)Start with nothing and grow up in a tough neighborhood. Lots of wildly successful people started with nothing and fought hard every day of their lives to make it. Starbucks founder and CEO Howard Schultz and Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein grew up not far from where I did in Brooklyn. Competition and adversity breed great leaders.
(2.)Do what you love ... and pray there's a market for it. Steve Jobs said, "The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle." He was absolutely right. If you follow your passion — and so do customers — the money will follow.
(3.)Follow the yellow brick road ... to Silicon Valley. The high-tech industry has created enormous wealth for millions of people, and not just top executives, either. Microsoft alone accounts for an estimated 12,000 millionaires among former or current employees. The reason? Technology startups are the land of equity and opportunity.

(4.)Own your own business and live like a monk. Two-thirds of America's millionaires are self-employed. The vast majority are small business owners who live on budgets well below their means, invest their money, and never received any kind of inheritance, according to the book "The Millionaire Next Door." Do you really need that new car or iPad? Nope.
(5.)Take risks, make mistakes and trust your gut. Most people are either ridiculously risk averse or take dumb risks they know they shouldn't take. Take smart risks, the ones that make sense to you. Trust your gut. You'll be wrong more often than not but that's okay. Nobody ever got ahead by playing it safe.
(6.)Work your living tail off and make lots of sacrifices. Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer is a serious workaholic who works 90 hours a week. So does Elon Musk, who runs two companies and is not much of a delegator. The same was true of Steve Jobs when he ran Apple and Pixar. You get out of life what you put in.
(7.)Manufacture your own luck. It's said that luck is when opportunity meets preparedness. While it's true that I've been very, very lucky, it's also true that I never stopped searching for opportunities and never hesitated to go for it when I found even a glimmer of a possibility. My advice: quit tweeting and linking and get out and network with real people in the real world.
(8.)Stay married. I've seen it over and over again: one of the most common killers of wealth is the good old "divide by two." Think about it. Each time you get divorced, that's another divide by two. Divorce is a geometric progression — to the poor house. That's why only the poor and very rich can afford it. If you're in the middle, forget it.
(9.)Diversify, diversify, diversify. That age-old axiom is so true it isn't funny. I have an old friend — a former senior executive like me — whose investment strategy has always been to put his money in as many different places as possible. It takes time and effort but the payoff is huge. Save your money, invest it wisely and diversify.
Of course, you can always call yourself a social media entrepreneur or a self-branded CEO of one and generate all sorts of free online content while the folks at Google and Facebook get rich. The truth is, nobody ever got anywhere by doing what everyone else is doing. You may as well just buy lottery tickets and pray for a miracle.

Christianity EtcRe: Oro Traditionalists Perform Pastor Ajanaku 's Burial Rites by olorogun1: 7:18am On Aug 23, 2013
The fact that Oro rite was performed in the man's town before he was buried doesn't necessarily means he was a cultist,if you're well informed as a Nigeria you'll know gbongan as mentioned in the post is in osun state and the state is well known to hold traditional rites in high esteem regardless of your status or position, and ajanaku case might even be a little complicated if his own town or village is even deeper I mean so remote (typical village setting).if his family had decided to bury him in lagos or more civilize area that may not occur. Some of us need serious education in Nigeria about our culture and so on,even the whites knows some of these things than we nigerians
CareerRe: AIT Workers' Salaries Not Paid For Eight Months? (An Appeal To Raymond Dokpesi) by olorogun1: 5:34pm On Aug 14, 2013
I think when issue like this happens we should learn or try to figure out what's actually happening on the other side,i was privileged to watch an interview granted by this so call ramond dokpesi,on the national tv, and this particular issue was raised and from the answer/respose he gave I think the guy is not totally guilty of this accusations, he said in the interview that he's an investor that invested in ait which happens to be an arm of daar communications and that there are people responsible for the management of the station who are not really efficient in their obligations to the station and there are lots of debt they are been owed, also that most of the advert you see been aired on ait is mostly done on credit.and that some of these people owing do sometimes refuses to pay and there's little or nothing they can do to retrieve this money from the debtors,he categorically said in that interview that he's not responsible for the welfare of the workers that it's the management who's responsible for that,he also talk about the none profit yielding daar communication shares that was sold.honestly I felt for the guy after listening to that interview because am also an investor in some business and I know what it's like feeling the way he's feeling, but I pray that the Lord see him through sha.as for the womanising aspect I don't have any comments on that but he's an adult he has his life to live, using my phone to type don't mind the errors just get the message.my 1cent

PropertiesRe: 80-100 Acres Of Land Urgently Needed Along Abeokuta-sagamu Expressway. by olorogun1: 7:51am On Aug 09, 2013
@op,you have to be very careful in lands dealings along that corridor you mentioned because 99% of the expanse of land along that axis is under government acquisition, mostly committed acquisition which implies that the ratification might not be possible. Alternatively you can approach the ogun state ministry of agriculture for land because some part of that land belongs to the ministry and if you're fortunate to acquire from them which they will give you at a very reduced rate then you can then process the rest with ogun state ministry of land to convert it to residential/commercial instead of for agricultural use.hope this will be of help to you.becareful with Omo onile to avoid losing money.my 1cent

PropertiesRe: Fraudulent Guerilla Marketing Of Dominion Estate Must Stop by olorogun1: 7:26pm On Apr 12, 2013
Good work @lawyer' may you not have a damaged brain.I think majority of people are ill-informed about what actually happen to land speculators around mowe/ofada axis.most of this speculators had genuine interest about the project but they were all adversely affected by the decision of the Then state governor(gbenga daniel) it is generally known that one of the major resources attributed to ogun state is vast land and most governor that ever ruled the state usually make some good deal from this resources, mowe, ofada, owode and its environ from time immemorial was a very free land the settlers around the area are mainly farmers that specialise in cultivation of ofada rice, maize, cassava and so on,the name ofada rice originated from that village called ofada,it was redeem church that opened up the whole of that area, nobody ever believe that axis could witness the sporadic development it witnessed,so it was the formal DG lands then(gbenga ogunoiki) under gbenga daniels tenure that hinted the governor of a good deal he could make from those area by declaring the whole length of papalanto to shagamu interchange not free that is (acquired) and most of these speculators had committed millions into the investment as a matter of fact about 80percent of them even have their approved survey plan and some other genuine document except the C of O that takes time and money to process, the governor then after series of meeting with the investors later agreed to release the land to them on the ground that they have to pay for ratification of their lands per square meters which runs into millions, that's how most of them are frustrated out of the project, you can imagine someone that has about 100acres of land paying about 2500naira per square meter, six plot makes an acre multiply by 100 that's 600plots and a standard plot is about 699 square meter but some say. It is 648square meter so multiply 648x600 roughly we have 388,800square meter then multiply that by 2500naira.its almost a billion naira if not more than, you can imagine though some of then were able to negotiate with the government and they are still developing their estate till date.so please information is so vital and we should try as much as possible to do more findings before coming to this kind of forum to misinform people.its because there's original that's why we have fake so people should take their time to find out the status of whatever deal they want to go into or possibly get a solicitor to do the findings for you because that's what they are trained to do.thanks
Nairaland GeneralRe: How Many Of Your 2012 Goals Did You Achieve? by olorogun1: 6:46am On Dec 11, 2012
By strength shall no man prevail, the race is not also to the swift,so the bible say,I think its good to set goals just to have directions but most importantly being focus is the key, sometimes you set goals and you are not able to get even so close with those goals of yours, the lord says his ways are not our ways, but if one is focus you tend to take advantage of most opportunity that comes one's way and some sort of achievement is recorded,I did not set any goal for 2012 but being focus and above all the grace of the almighty God made me records some achievements, like acquiring a dredger, built a nice and well furnished guest house, more lands, just to mention but few,the year is yet to come to an end so am still counting.praise GOD

AdvertsYou Can Be A Multi Millionaire Doing Dredging Business by olorogun1(op): 5:15pm On Jul 14, 2012
After oil and gas business in Nigeria I think another business that can give you more money is sand dredging, with Toyo-pump dredger from Belgium,at an affordable rate you are sure of getting return on your investment in less than six month,I gave it a try and am not regretting ever investing in this sand business, after dredging the sand you don't need to scout for buyer, there's ready buyer for the sand which you can't even meet their demand no matter the location of your site, but before you can go into this business you must have a little below 50million naira, which you will make back in less than six month, and after you start enjoying for the rest of your life as a millionaire, you can come to see my site @ isheri very close to the toll-gate where I dredge from to see how it work even before you go into it,I am ready to take you through the a-z of the business at no fee at all.for more details you can reach me on 08060639740,
