It is not by force to comment. rumors, gossips, & baseless conspiracy theories u say? Lol, it is well... |
Politics › Re: Ekiti State: A Tale Of Two Governors, Then And Now Photos by OlowoLagos(m): 8:45pm On Jul 28, 2019 |
plaindealer: Face the people of Ekiti because they rejected mediocrity and got sick and tired of lining up on the side of the road to beg for rice.
If lining up for rice and N100 was so great and what Ekiti people wanted and preferred, Fayemi won't be in office today.
Ekiti people rejected what you are talking about, come up with something better. Lol, now I can see u are not from Ekiti... Cuz we didn't vote him (Fayemi), the election was rigged even with APC spending thousands. Though dragging dis issue is just not good enough cuz politics is just a "game", I dunno how the elders play it bcoz tomorrow (u might hear Fayose in support of APC). But my prayer is "we don't be a victim of bad luck be it APC or PDP regime. |
Politics › Re: Ekiti State: A Tale Of Two Governors, Then And Now Photos by OlowoLagos(m): 12:56pm On Jul 28, 2019 |
plaindealer: Not too long ago, Ekiti people were hungry beggars lining up on the side of the road for a can of rice and school children begging for N100.
Their future was bleak and governance was nothing short of daily insanity, shameful drama and absurdities, but now, they have sanity and good governance.
Voting into office the right leader can make a difference. With respect, Pls which is better? Governor giving can of rice / #100 to school children (also protecting the life of his people from herdsmen) and the Governor speaking grammar, showing love to just a student as shown in d pics, (giving the life of his people to herdsmen)? |

Bagehot: Hmmm, fair point. But from my perspective, why should I bother with a demographic that I've have observed time and again not to be able to demonstrate basic competence in writing, conceptual thinking, professional composure etc.? Besides at entry-level, trust me, there are loads of talents for the picking, so I won't be missing anything out. Then I'm happy for you... But the saying "do not judge a book by its cover" might be true most times. |

Bagehot: Sorry mate. As a hiring manager, based on my experience with degrees from Benin republic, I simply do not hire graduates from there. And you might be losing someone with experience to add value to ur organization. I'm not saying this bcoz I'm a product but I think it time we open forum for this certification madness, there will be many with "Pass" but they can take ur company to its sky with practical knowledge. |

Dagrace01: It is so annoying when our leaders utter this nefarious statements. It's quite appalling to think a student learns how to articulate in English in the higher institution, when in the Constitution an o level holder can hold any official post in the Nigerian politics. I can boldly and proudly acclaim that I studied in Benin Republic and just a few of those that studied international relations in Nigeria can withstand me. Even the DG himself can't compete with me in the use of English language. Am not saying such things don't happen in Benin republic, just as it does happened in Nigeria too, all am saying is that the use of or writing of English language doesn't determine whether u are a graduate or not. Infact I know some good engineering graduates who can't speak or write much of English. And I've also heard some of our political leaders speaking bad English. I won't blame anybody for not being able to speak the language well because its not ours, what matters most is what we all have in our medula oblongata. He should rather have said those that didn't go through the four walls will be investigated, not that most Benin republic graduates can't write in English.. We that studied there are Nigerians just like those that were privileged to study in US, Canada, Nigeria and so on, he should withdraw that statement and apologize. You've said it all bruh... |

erayo2GCA: Go and check your sister in that country, it’s not hard to cross the border, there’s no good school in Cotonou, all institutions in Nigeria are by far better! Go and see for yourself, pay her a visit and follow her to school. Students in Benin rep. who don’t want to buy result ASAP sit at home all day abusing all sorts of drugs to while away time then go ahead to buy the result when they have squandered their parents money and wasted like 3 years. I have lived in PK10, Sekandji etc I know what I’m saying. Go and check your sister, follow her to school, cross check her school activities in details before coming to say she’s brighter than the one in Uniben, laspotech is better than all the one building universities in Benin rep. Good morning Maybe you are right bro, but not in all cases... We have many unserious set of people bearing the name "student" both home and abroad, so it is what we have upstairs that speaks. By the grace, I am a product of Esae University Cotonou (Mass Communication) 2017 set and I can defend my certificate anytime/anywhere and I have some of my mate's that I can be sure of. Even when I was doing my National Diploma there in the Polytechnic Offa, we have number of unserious set but the only thing is that "Mostly the unqualified graduate use to be abroad products (cotonou)"... |
