Johnnyessence: sowore has been in the news for revolutionnow for a decade now. I pray he's set free in the Dss cell. meanwhile, Here's a Sowore, 22 years old undergraduate leading the students protest against the military on June 12 annulment. Many of today's Mumulectuals and humbled slaves defending oppressors were common rats back then too. Sowore isn't a flash in the pan.
He is not thinking they way we think. He is not praying for freedom. He is hoping that his incarceration will attract enough attention to the injustice in the land. Nigeria, as it seem, may not be worth fighting for because of the present generation of people who can't reason but it's worth liberating for the future generations.
There is nothing any government can do to break the spirit of a natural activist. It's like a psychological order. Fela, Gani Fawehinmi and others had everything they needed but they fought for the people till they died. Sowore was not fighting Jonathan neither is he fighting Buhari. Sowore is fighting injustice. A foolish government makes an activist known all over the world by responding aggressively. By the way, if Buhari and his senseless advisers still have their brains working they will remember they only have about 3.5years left to spend behind the rock except there is already a plan to Mugabelise.
PHIPEX: A lot of Nigerians still have businesses, schooling and conferences to attend in SA. Besides, there are no direct flight to some Southern African countries eg Botswana, you have to first get to SA.
Oh I see. Thanks for educating me. We need each other south, west, north and east.
The masses are not independent period. The political class should celebrate their independence to do whatever they like independent of constitution, right of the people and rule of law. They should celebrate their Independence to jail whoever has an opposing few.
pek: Nigerians are complicated I swear. Nigerians are leaving south Africa yet you want to commence commercial flights there. Doesn't make one bit of sense!
South Africa now has sense more than us. We are too forgetful and that is why we keep recycling all these leaders that did us no good in the past. It's not even up to a month that some of our people were evacuated and SA government is already stretching a carrot in form of license to thesame airline and we rolled out our drums to celebrate. It means that valuable people have left SA and they want them back.
Everybody is commending, are we going back to South Africa? Why not just go back to Egypt instead lol. I though we are done with South Africa why is this suddenly a welcome development? Thesame airline that evacuated them will return them back there. Whatever. Peace be unto peace airline.
RZArecta2: Ben Ayade is a crazy despot, one thing he fails to remember is that his tenure is very short, life indeed is very short. All despots shall reap the rewards of their madness here on earth and their kids shall inherit the ignominy
He will still beg after his tenure like Ajumobi begged Ayefele. It's not their fault, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Hmmmm...in a country where the most spiritual control every affair of governance. They chain and abuse those who can't recite their spiritual book correctly, shut down a school when a page of same book disappears or reappears in sewage.
I will be gentle too if my wife said to me "I don't care what you do over there just bring the money home or forget the marriage" I will be gentle till I get the pepper.
MrBrownJay1: It doesn't matter how Nigerians behave abroad, if that's how they behave at home.... the apple cannot fall away from the tree, therefore, unless Nigerian start to behave properly AT HOME, we can't expect them to be any different when they go abroad (unless you believe that foreign interactions is more important than our own)
Charity begins at home I agree.
Nigerians have wrong role models at home. It's shameful, sad and unimaginable how loud, carefree, and aggressively we talk without consideration...despite all there are still a lot of civilised and considerate Nigerians though we bear the brunt.
Tulsaguy: Since the scam story is coming from this useless government who like to persecute anyone that's not on the same page with them, I don't believe the story.
As a matter of fact APC thrive in falsehood and whoever Buhari takes to court as a matter of fact should be the plaintiff.
Well I am having a similar thought. Selective corruption fight.
Ok. Maybe he is talking from experience. I think we should just have national DNA testing day so that people can swap children.
Headline: After the national DNA testing day acclaimed by international observers as free and fair Obj looses Iyabo to Gani Adamu. Timi Dakolo looses his son to...
akinade28: Op, if I got your story right, your wife's dressing and attitude changed due to the influence of her friends and you often report her to her parents. And the last incident really got her angry to the extent of her keeping mute and she said shes no longer interested in the marriage. And a guy came to visit her There are two things involved: 1) she might not really mean she's no longer interested in the marriage but she is acting that way because she is still very angry at you and is doing yanga because of your costant involvement of her parents in her case and wants you to come back to your sense. Women are very emotional, sometimes their no means yes. You guys should be able to settle matter amicably without involving parents and family members. If both of cant do this then i guess you arent ready for marriage. 2) she's truly no longer interested in you and really wants to explore or try out something new. 6 years is a long time. She has seen all of you both your strength and weakness. Already has a child for you. She might be distracted by another guy. There's is only way to find out, show her unusual love, care and attention just for few weeks. Show her that you still want her and wants the marriage to work out and be sober for your actions. A normal sensible woman will come to her senses and reconcile seeing your commitment. But prepare for the worst, have a backup plan, if she doesn't reconcile just forget about her and start planing on how to take care of your daughter
Op, take this very serious. It's a candid and well constructed advice.
