Buhari has got both the judiciary and the legislature in his pockets. No hope for the common man.
I wish we have more common sense in Nigeria than common men. Common people are the ones choosing common men to lead since the scam independence.

Thank you.

I try as much as possible to speak up for the movement because it has been heavily distorted by radical feminists and bad actors. I also think that when people really know what the original movement was created for most people will become allies

My husband is now more of a feminist than I am, we are raising a boy and a girl. Every month my daughter wants to be something, this month she wants to be a firefighter, the next a nurse and my husband will say “why shouldn’t I fight for a society that allow my daughter be whatever she wants to be, no limits, no labels”

My father was the first feminist in my life, he raised four girls and he thought us not to be limited by the traditional roles that Nigerian society set for us.
I'll agree with you that ignorant, bad actors portray the movement as anti men or anti marriage movement. I have always wanted women to be whatever they want to be. I am raising 2 girls and I am not under any pressure for a Male child. I believe that men have leadership role in marriage but then true leaders don't exert authority rather true leaders have the hearts of servants.

I don’t think you know the meaning of feminism.

Anyways as a feminist, if this is HER choice then I fully support her. A true feminist will always support the choice of a woman, we recognize that women are different and want different things and we want a society that supports the choices of women.

As a feminist the problem I will have is when society forces this woman’s choice on every woman and demand that ALL wives must behave like this. We don’t hate men, most are married raising sons. We just want a society where our choices are validated too not just men’s. Simple.
Well spoken. This is not too much to ask. Women should not be treated as men's property rather they are equal partner in any form of relationship. However, if women in other cultures willingly choose to behave in certain way, their choice should be respected. You made a valid point

If a woman likes, let her roll on the floor while serving her husband, a man that won't stay, won't.
Very true. You can be respectful without kneeling and respect should be reciprocal

that show that abokis are wiser than you the richest man in Nigeria and Africa is an aboki your president is aboki next Nigerian president will still be aboki the meat you eat all food everyday is farm by aboki
Story for the ignorants. I am not a tribal bigot by the way and the word Aboki is not derogatory. I don't give a damn who is the richest in hell or where a president is from. I just want to see meaningful development and improvement in the life of citizens of the country. There is no dignity or joy in being the richest or the president while your people are suffering and their lives is worthless.

It's not cool or cold they are looking at I believe, it's uniqueness, confidence, self esteem and the ability to stand out from the crowd. What is cool to you is probably those white quantity chests but the judges can recognize quality when they see one.

Bandits have killed a lot of people in Zamfara but everytime you see round figures like 11,000 and 44,000 you know the figure is computed by lazy officials. If we can't have the specific figure then let's know it's approximation.

There is no value for lives here and the government is looking the other way while ethnic purging is in progress.

CelebritiesRe: Solomon Buchi Slams Tobi Bakre's Mother Over Marriage Advice by olu77(m):
Buchi made sense. His wisdom can be compare to that of King Solomon. grin . We are where we are as black people because of this stupid mentality that no longer works. The elderly woman's advise would have made sense if it was passed directly to women at women-only gathering. We can't legalise what is wrong by embracing it. We can't advise women to endure anything thrown at them while their oppressors are listening. However, every woman should make effort to make their marriage work...and please ladies, don't use Tiwa, Tonto and other celebrities as role model for your own marriage. Celebrities are living life of baby mamas and baby papas. I know men who forgive their wives that cheated on them and it's not all men that are doing anyhow in marriage.

Idiotic LIAR! Even Pablo Escobar can not afford to pay that kind of amount. If they can pay $3000 daily everybody will be in B haram. I think the man is just trying to advertise for the animals so that people will flood to Sambisa to join. Another logic is to make Government offer more than the terrorists in amnesty
