One of my sisters is married to a muslim for the past 22years. I can't imagine one of them killing the other because of religion. |
We must learn to leave in peace with one another. |
Libyans and the Muslim world are now promoting their on version of violence because of the cartoon. On Friday, a Pakistani Muslim cleric and his followers offered rewards amounting to more than $1 million for anyone who killed the Danish cartoonists who drew the caricatures Read it here http://nm.onlinenigeria.com/templates/?a=6976&z=10 I strongly condemn any form of killing by anybody. |
Nigerians should learn to tolerate one another when it comes to religion. I don't think Jesus Christ or Muhammad will be happy seeing Nigerians killing themselves because of their faith in these two personalities. Last saturday some Islamic fundamentalist killed several people in Maiduguri and now the Christians in the South are retaliating. Mosques and Muslims are now being killed on the streets. Read it here http://nm.onlinenigeria.com/templates/?a=6978&z=10 or read this report here http://sunnewsonline.com/webpages/news/national/2006/feb/22/national%20-22-02-2006-001.htm I pray that God and Government will intervene quickly before it goes out of hands. |
Now there is religious war all over because Christians are not going to keep quiet anymore. Details here: http://sunnewsonline.com/webpages/news/national/2006/feb/22/national%20-22-02-2006-001.htm or read it here http://nm.onlinenigeria.com/templates/?a=6978&z=10 Libyans and the Muslim world have added a new dimension to the problem You will be paid $1million if you are able to arrest or abduct any of the cartoonists Read it here: http://nm.onlinenigeria.com/templates/?a=6976&z=10 |
You guys make me laugh. hayo, 100 gbosas for you. Wen mo fo awon obiren Ijebu are the best. My wife is Ijebu and very pretty. Let me tell you a true experience. I almost fought my family because of a Delta lady. I swore to disown my family if i was not allowed to marry her. Do you know what happened? A se omo girl yi o feran me at all. She didn't really love me yet she watched me fight my family. I later discovered that her mum didn't approve of me because i no carry moto kon dia house. Her mum wanted her to marry a rich okoro man who was in the USA. Of course she lost out. US guy ko, UK guy ni. Ewu Delta girls. Suddenly, i went for my master's degree in UNILORIN and met the most beautiful girl on earth, an Ijebu girl who believes in me and trust God that the future will be alright. We got married and leave gloriously together in Abuja. Ijebu man (me) married Ijebu woman and gave birth to an Abuja daugther. What a combination. |
I really wonder why Nigerians must kill themselves because of Religion. Frankly speaking, I have never heard a story where a Christian would go out and kill a muslim because the muslim said something bad about Jesus Christ. The opposite is always the case and nothing is ever done to checkmate it. How do you explain 58 christians killed on Saturday in Maiduguri because of a cartoon that said something bad about Prophet Mohammed. The said publication was done in Europe and not Nigeria, yet Nigerians suffered for it. These churches were burnt down 1. Newly completed multi-million naira two-storey building of the Living Faith Church, which premises houses a nursery and primary school 2. A priest and his personal assistant, were burnt to death at St. Theresa Catholic Church. 3. Deeper Life 4. Over 30 other churches were burnt. 5. No single Mosque/Muslim was reported as touched or killed Can someone explain this stupid action to me because i am angry. Na wa o for this kain talk. Recently i had that my younger brother (37yrs) just kicked out his fiancee because she did not get pregnant within the last 4months of 2005. They have been dating for 2 years and i guess they must have chopped the forbidden fruit. Men, i was angry and called him in Lagos (Lagos boys are always trying to be smart) to rebuke him strongly. He totally refused to take the girl back. He said age is no more on his side and he couldn't afford to be messed arround for too long by the girl. Another case is an older cousin of mine. Very rich guy who married a pretty lady from Ebute Metta. I remember that the wedding reception was held at the National Arts Thearter in Lagos. After a few months of marriage, it was discovered that the lady did not have a womb. My cousin was devastated and had to be coming to my house to cry everyday. Of course that marriage crashed and this my big cousin has not openned his heart to another woman since that time. MAY GOD HELP ALL OF US. |
You guys make me laugh. Mama is above 80years and it will not be funny at all. My wife loves my mother but i will not allow her to stay more than 3months. On the other hand, i prefer my mother in-law (60+). She keeps my wife on her toes. She does not tolerate nonsense from my wife and always want my wife to please me. I know that if my mother in-law stays with us, i will always be like a king ![]() |
How i wished Ivory Coast won the cup but Egypt won it for good. |
Neticash, now I get your drift. We really have to be smart and not resell ourselves to neoimperialism. |
Neticash, Na wa o. You have added another dimension to this thread. Are you trying to scare us or what? On the other hand, i think you make some sense but what can we do now that such a gigantic venture like this is being worked on through the Nigerian government. |
Deji, you are welcome to Abuja anytime. By the way, i read your blog and you said you were leaving Access Bank. I hope you are not going to be looking for job anywhere. Thank God for all those software and IT knowledge you were able to learn while at Access Bank. My advise is that you start your own business. This is my candid opinion. I left my former employers in February 2004 after slaving for them. I did learn a lot and now i am using my acquired skills to run my own IT firm here in Abuja. I can't tell you the joy i feel doing my own business. Think about it. |
Dejiolwe, the speed is very high. This is typical of wifi connections. Speed is never compromised. There is no payment for now and i am sure before December 2006 it will be commercialized. What the company is doing is to let people know that Internet can reach everybody. It is not supposed to be elitist. Lagos ko, lagos ni. I used to remember my school anthem but the cares of life have robbed me of the anthems. I graduated from Secondary school in 1985 and i can't remember the school Anthem. |
Layi, e be like say you are the man wey i don dey look for. I do engage in a few HYIP (12dailypro messed up my money when they cancelled payment through egold) and referral programs and make money from them but I have been looking for a good Nigerian who has made money with google adsense. I wouldn't mind becoming your student. Can I come for a training in Lagos. I will be speaking at a seminar at SuccessDigest Magazine in Isolo, Lagos on Saturday 11th March 2006 and i can arrive 2days earlier so that you can give me the training. I promise to be a good student and will pay the training fee if it is not too high. What do you think? |
Hi Nuru and hope you had a nice weekend. Snazzydawn, what is onyokometer? |
I look at myself and how i have related with my parents and cared about them over these years and then concluded that i would have been more caring towards my parents if i were a girl or born female. It is not that i don't care but there are things i don't do for them but my sisters always do. My wife calls her mum everyday while i call mine once in a month - that is if i remember - Well, men are not supposed to be soft. Presently i have a daughter and trust God to have a son soon. I have this confidence that my daughter will care for me when i get old. Even now, she is always asking me if i was okay, broke or in good health. Her love is real and always look forward to her smiles when i get home from work. The question is, who cares better, girls or boys? Be sincere in your response. |
Hi Nuru, It was nice speaking with you on phone today that the Eagles beat Tunisia. I will be expecting the formular as soon as you can scan it and send it to my email address. Thanks |
Na wa for you o Nuru. I don't think i will love to eat elede because i want to have a baby boy. My wife and I will keep waiting on God and we believe He will do it for us this year. Twinkledew thanks for your encouragement. elede means Pig but when cooked its called pork. ![]() |
Hi Nuru and don't mind Yahaya of Kansas City The question was whether a wife should tell her husband of the boss's excesses and i think she should. Married couples should love each other to the extent of finding solutions to common threat to their union. A married man should stick to his wife just as a married woman should stick to her husband. Anything outside of this is evil and disgusting. |
Yahaya, i don't know where you got your rumour from that Abuja is full of women of easy virtues. It depends on the circle of people you move with. I guess you can also get women of easy virtues in Kansas City. There are nice and respectable ladies in Abuja. If you are a married woman, don't allow your Boss to mess you up. Be upright and committed to your husband. Aboki na, kaa ji. |
