JallowBah: Yes, I would beat up my husband if he cheated. And yes, he is welcome to do the same to me.lol!!! You will beat up who? See woman talking.... |
mimi321: he has nothing to say he wants total control over her he want her to be submissiveWhy should she not be submissive? If she cannot submit to him, then he should leave him. But, that does not justify his beating her up like that. Compatibility is very important in a relationship. Relationship/marriage should be between two people that understand themselves well, and flow in communication. The woman is supposed to submit to the man and obey him. While the man is supposed to love the woman as he loves himself. U can't beat up a woman U love. Can U beat up yourself? When we enter relationships with the wrong motives (like money, beauty/looks, social status, etc.); this is always the outcome. Ladies, please be wise. Don't let any man treat U like a trash. Respect Urselves, for God's sake. Thanks! |
wyzman: When one yeye girl come say u don give am belle, or u bash d car of a senator, or u go beat soja wife.U beat soldier wife? Ur own don be. U will receive the worst beating of Ur life that will make U lose 10 pounds. Lol!!! |
Siga: ....ahh...Because he's rich. Eh no! Because he's illiterate. |
JallowBah: For most women in an abusive relationship, they do believe, sincerly, they are to blame themself. Why should you beat up a woman just because she cheated on you? Don't men cheat? Will you also appreciate it if you were beaten because you cheated? Under no condition should a man beat up a woman. It is morally wrong. |
micklplus: You are very sensible and I like you! U didn't insult the OP like others and you made an attempt to see to the enquiries of the OP. Even though I am not compelled to buy your points, I respect people like you ALWAYSThanks! But please respect God and buy His points. |
gulfer: Fanta face, chocolate hands.Point of correction: fanta face, coke hand. Her colour is the same. That's from the picture. |
Is he prophesying GEJ's death, his resignation, or his impeachment? He should be specific, please. |
I go to Church because God said we should not forsake the gathering of the saints. I go to Church to be sharpened. Proverbs 27:17 says "Iron sharpeneth iron....". I go to Church to hear the Word of God and to receive spiritual impartation. I go to Church to meet and interact with my fellow christians. No man is an Island. Test whatever any pastor tells you with the scriptures. Does it go in line with the Word of God? If yes, do it. Does the Bible say you should pay tithes, give offerings, sow seeds, live holy, etc.; do them all. Forget about what the money is used for. Except a man (or woman) be born again, he (or she) cannot see the kingdom of God. Hope U all went to Church today. Remain blessed! |
Ortis: I go 2 church cos i need 2 marry a virgin sister ;DI go 2 church cos i need 2 marry a virgin sisterFor where? |
She is a lesbian? No wonder |
achi4u: is this how to make ppl laugh?lol!!! |
fados4sure: I must be a star for making so many people laughThis op self. How old are you? Laughed really hard last night. I'm sure people were wondering why I was laughing. Catching some real fun today again. |
idowuswap: What of schl cultist..are they going 2 heaven with there killingAll sinners, those who have not given their lives to CHRIST (whether they are cultists or self righteous people, liars, etc.), will all go to hell fire. |
Billyonaire: There is no HELL, thats sealed. When people die, not everyone cross over instantly although 95% do cross instantly. Many still linger on due to their strong bond with earthly loved ones and attachments. That temporal "state" is the limbo state and, that was the rational behind those traditional memorials that relatives do to release the souls, although many are not conscious why ancient people did it, most people just do am because dem wan chop rice and wear designer apparels. But everyone do crossover after a while with the help of the spirit guides.Cross over to where? |
free2ryhme: You are deceiving your self .... Even the bible did not deny situations like this .. 2 Timothy 3 ...For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!.. I will rather believe the bible than believe you even if the bible says a lieGlad to know we still have true christians here. God bless you so much. I am just loving you. I would rather believe in the Bible, believe that heaven and hell are real. I would rather believe that Jesus is Lord and the saviour of the whole world; than reject Him and end up in hell fire (whether you call it lake of fire or whatever, it is still the same). Heaven and hell are real. But, if it turns out not to be real on the last day, I have got nothing to lose. Please repent from your sinful ways, your unbelief, etc., and accept JESUS CHRIST as your LORD and personal SAVIOUR. No one can come to God except through JESUS!!! John 14:6. |
Happy birthday mummy G. O. |
Okay....what do you want Nairaland to do?
He wants Nairaland to advice him, whether he should go ahead with the marriage or not.My advice is you should marry her if you really love her, if you feel she will be submissive to you, and if her age is not a threat to you. Age does not really matter. What matters is people's perception of life. |
The best way to catch and kill witches: when you feel somebody is a witch and comes to eat your flesh at night, set a trap for him or her. When they enter your house as a rat or cat, catch that animal and kill it. The witch will die. In that way you have killed the witch without killing or shedding a human blood. Lol!!! Thou shall not kill your fellow human being, for whatsoever reason, says the Bible. Suffer not a witch to live, does not mean you should kill them physically. It means you should use prayer to scatter their works, in that way you are killing them spiritually. Vengeance belongs to God, my people. |
This is very bad o! These witches self!! |
Delafruita: on what basis then are you supporting the violation of the girl's fundamental rights?doesnt she also have a family?I am not supporting it. Read my previous posts well. This is a case of misplaced priority. Is that the only case of violation of human right? Why lay more emphasis on this singular case, while every day, rights of Nigerian citizens are violated and nobody seems to be interested? It is only a hater of Oyedepo that will wish this case ends against him. Fine, he did something wrong. But must you bring him down this way? He is only a human being. Most of you here condemning him do worst things on daily basis but nobody talks about it. On the last day, he will be judged just like you and I. So, please leave this scandal and humiliation of a man of God. I am very happy the way it all ended. Besides, the girl and her family never begged that lawyer to go and get 2 billion for them, because the girl was slapped. If you know you have ever raised your hands to slap somebody before, you are not worthy to speak against this man of God. Udo diri unu!!! |
Delafruita: so if your mother is a witch, you will take her to oyedepo for slappiverance. If my mum is a witch (thank God she is a woman of God and not a witch), I will preach to her to repent and also pray for her repentance. But if she refuses to repent, I will pray that God should deal with her. Thank God I am not a fan of Oyedepo, neither am I a member of Winners Chapel. I will rather take her to my church, for my pastor (pastor George Izunwa of Gateway Church PH) to pray for her. He will never slap her. Nobody should slap my mum for me o, no matter what. |
Kay 17: Not that I'm imposing my worldview, but witches too have human rights.Yes, that is why the action of the man of God is not justified. But what was the motive of the lawyer for pursuing this case? He was pursuing it for his financial gains, to tarnish the image of the man of God and for fame. It was this his motive that made me very happy with how the case ended. How can a lawyer suddenly become interested in human rights and justice; just because a prominent man of God and money is involved? This does not sound good with the rate of injustice and lack of respect for human rights in the country. Yes, we have to start somewhere; but why with this case? Where was this lawyer when a former governor virtually flogged and molested a priest of God and others? Where was he when poor widows were maltreated and their husbands' properties snatched from them? Where was he when poor orphans were set-up and imprisoned; so that they will not inherit their parents' properties? Where actually is he? Because everyday in Nigeria poor people are being deprived of what rightfully belongs to them by the rich. Oppression and injustice are everywhere in the country, but he overlooked all, just to select just this one. Why? Please my people, motive matters. If you are going against injustice because of the evil in it, you will get success. But if you are going against it for fame and money, you are a loser. Peace be to you all! Peace be to Nigeria!! |
tpapi: if it wz ur sister dat wz humiliated inside a church, wud u not av taken actionWhat action will you take if you find out that your sister is a witch? She has killed your parents, brothers, other sisters, your wife, children, she made you loose everything, and has finally made you cripple on both feet, with nobody to care for you; what action will you take? These witches are so heartless, even if they are your mum. Do you know what she did or confessed to him, that made him slap her? He only slapped her, not that he killed her. He only acted on anger based on what the girl said. This is not to justify the slap though. Remember that he and other pastors are human beings like us, who make mistakes and sins sometimes, just like us. Please take it easy in criticising and judging men of God. Thanks. |
acidtalk: I would have long disowned him if he was my father.Did he collect the money from them at gun-point? Have you not read in the Bible that he that gives a prophet a cup of water will receive a prophet's reward? Is giving and receiving of gifts a crime? Since you have not been able to do anything to the politicians looting the country's money; leave this man of God alone. |
acidtalk: The difference between us and them is that while we live our lifes without pretence, they go about acting like saints and committing gravious atrocities.I am not saying he did the right or wrong thing. God should judge that. We cannot achieve anything by criticising men of God. Okay, do you want to go and kill him for looting your money? Please let us leave all that for God. Believe me, it won't be easy for anybody on the judgment day, both you, I, and the pastors. Pastor, Reverend father, etc., all ends here; those are titles. Let me even run my own race and win a crown first, before I will start condemning pastors and others. Please don't write or talk with so much hatred for men of God. Thanks! |
acidtalk: sone of Jezebel listen and listen good. the Businessman that owns a church, university, media press and fleets of aircraft bribed his way through that case. And you will be thrown where? Better work out your own salvation and leave pastors alone. Most of you here shouting "crucify him", "crucify him", have you not slapped or even beaten up a woman for no just cause before? If you know you have not sinned before, cast the first stone on Oyedepo. |
mai gaskiya: guys i dnt se anytn wrong wit dat judgement.dats y we cal 4 true fedralism, let every state gve judgements basd on dia laws.plateau state hs sufrd frm ds terorist nd wil nt gve a chance.imagne d man cliamg 2 be a farmer nd hs no farm nd ws lokng 4 an islamic cleric, dnt u smel boko haramic theoryU are right dear. Based on the security situation in Jos, that judge did the right thing. That's how they wonder about in the day mornitoring their victims, and attack in the night wiping families off. The Police did not just arrest him, there was something suspiscuous about him that made them arrest him. This should serve as a warning to others. |
