I pray he's found alive. Am yet to recover from the death of a very good friend, Toyin Akanbi, the chvron staff, murdered of recent. This will not happen again. Mods, pls push to fp, it's better that Tonto Dike's stories. We take God beg you pls. |
I love dis particular one, right from secondary school days. Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, just to take him by his word, just to rest upon his promise, just to know, thus says the Lord. Jesus, Jesus, how I love him, how I've proved him over and over, Jesus Jesus, blessed Jesus, Oh for grace to trust thee more. |
Has your friend discussed this with him? Is your friend meeting his se*ual need? Sometimes, men resort to this act when they are not satisfied, and do not want to cheat on their partner. This is not to justify the act though. |
Abeg, take ya time o. 2MB no be moi moi o. |
Good post, 200k may appear big, but the truth is it's peanut in Nigerian economy of today. So, good saving habit nust be done with conscious effort and determination. Some things must go if you are truly serious abt this. According to CC, you have not given the full analysis of your expenditure and I think that is where the problem lies. Pls carry out this assignment, it may be tedious but pls do it, it will help you. Get a notebook, beginning from 1st April, write down all your expenditures for each day, and pls don't miss out anything, even if it's sachet water. Then at month end, do the analysis. You will see clearly where your money is going. Also, I have discovered that free fund we don't have bugdet for cannot be accounted for. We call it miscellaeneous, but in true sense, we waste it most times. Yes, it is inevitable, but pls reduce your loose cash. Lastly, ATM card is not a must use for everybody. Your fund needs some breathing space, so don't always keep it at your finger tip. My 10 kobo. BTW, am I suppose to comment on this thread as a fada in the house? |
Baba Oyo: Lolllz...."kaun" is the yoruba name for Potash!!Got it. Thanks |
Wait o, is this a joke? Away win in Nigerian league? It seems I'll start watching the league o. Pls when is the next match and how can I get the league time table? |
greatgod2012: and why do you want to chase the visitor away?just kidding @baba oyo, why am I finding this particular proverb difficult to break down unlike others? You wan to shed more light? |
ileobatojo: ^ Why do you feel she's trying to prove something? It's working for them and she is doing it all of her own free will so why shouldn't she continue? We can't dictate to her the extent her love for her husband should go! It's the husband that needs to continue to do all to ensure that he doesn't mishandle the love and respect she's giving him.Trust me am up to the task and she's seeing the result. |
aadetoyin: I guess u re lucky. Not everyone is as lucky like u. @Op, don't feel ur wife will hand her salary to u like this Oga's wife else u re sleepin on okada[quote author=aadetoyin. Yes, am lucky. The point here is whether classmate or whoever, if the Op is comfortable wt her and if she's a wife material and Op is comfortable and feels he can spend the rest of his life wt her, I still suggest he gives it a push. And as per the salary, why would any man even expect his wife to hand over all her salary to him? I have discouraged this, but she would not stop. So, no one should be disappointed if this does not happen and it does not make the lady disrespectful. |
A friend left banking for AMCON and according to him, they pay more than some banks. |
Nice one. This visitor stays in my house as well. How do I chase him out ASAP? |
van bonattel: Look for a woman from a different field, younger too. You will have your respect and your kids will benefit from the different background she came from.I disagree. I married my class mate. 4 yrs ago and I can tell u it's one of the best things that has ever happened to me. There is mutual love and respect for each other. Infact, she hands over all her salary to me, after removing her tithe. @Op, pls go for her if you truly love her. |
amarush: Hi. Sorry stated the wrong procedure. I actually had Amniocentisis but was scheduled to have a CVS, its the same procedure but for CVS the placenta is used as opposed to amniotic fluid. The consultant changed his mind because of the position of the baby. There is a 1 in 200 risk of miscarriage for both procedures, but to my knowledge there is no risk of deformaty. You are advised to rest for a couple of days but the pain is not bad, only a dull ache and was given some paracetamol. I had the same consultant both times, great Nigerian guy, really put me at ease. I'm not surprised that its not widely available its an intrusive procedure and should only be performed by a specialist. Sorry I don't know any places that do it over there.Thank you |
Nigerian Professional Football league you mean to say. The last time I checked, the league is suppose to kick off today after several month of redundancy. I dont support failure. |
amarush: Smh at all this misdiagnosis. Same thing with my husband, two tests in Nigeria both results AA. Husband was tested in the UK at the insistance of the hospital after I got pregnant and I tested AS. Husband result came back AS. Anyway we have to beautiful children, first born AA, second AS. Both pregnancies opted to have CVS, a procedure where a needle is inserted through your stomach to extract amniotic fluid to test for SS in the babies. 2 week wait for the results, the longest two weeks of my life.. 0arush, |
Go to LUTH and get tested again.
. Thanks. |
Abali, you' re doin a great job. |
Hello all, NYSC in conjuction with "Ideal Morning Star" is introducing enterpreneurship course to your programme in orientation camp, starting from your batch and am the Kano facilitator. So, let's do it together. We have a lot of tips to dish out. I wish u the very best as u serve your father land and may God open doors of opportunity for u as he did for me 7 yrs ago in a strange land. See you in Kano guys. |
I still insist they have done what is expected of them. 2M is a strange inflow to your acct and being the first time, they have the right to investigate the source of fund, knowing that western union transactions are being taken over by yahoo yahoo boys. I bet u it won't happen again but 1st time is inevitable. Enjoy and pls be careful wt that money. Big boys are in town everywhere. May u not be a victim. |
trash. |
what a world. |
Regiblinkz: The nonsense making front page is alarming now...NL mods na wa for una ooThis is not nonsense to some of us. If topic does not go down well wt you, you can take a walk. @Op sunday school topic. Spiritual diciplines for a new life ( from the book of colossians 4) |
Congrats Bro. |
@OP; I don't think you need to close your acct. They have done the best thing. Your acct is new and a huge amount is involved. Pls beware of any bank that does not query any strange inflow to your acct. It's not safe for you. And I know it only happens for the first time. Subsequent ones will not be as this. Pls take. Let me know how it goes or if u need clarification. |
Well, much has been said and I would not want to do vain repetition. As a WU officer, I would never process that amount wt voter's I.D. My confusion is why his national I.D was not honoured. @Op, pls mandate your brother to go and see the Manager. He must come back wt that 10k. If he fails to do that, then he's a big fraudster. It does not matter how much you trust him. Enjoy. |
Chevron? Now I'm doubly sure he was kidnapped.
. Thot as much. But the problem is no contact has been made as per the ransom. @vision2050. As at the last nite I called the sister, he's still missing. |
