I still doubt juju exist oh...are you for real?

Well, it was a close experience (a sad one), you don't have to believe it yet it would be stupid to come here and tell lies, if it didn't happened I wouldn't have said that besides I shared my own close sad experience for others that never had that kind of bad experience to learn from it. I was about telling it here too when it happened to her about five weeks ago because I called my friends and family to narrate to them and warned them to be careful and for unforeseen occurrence(s) of such ugly trick or experience but I latter let it go thinking someone might have post something of such on nairaland.

So my friend if you doubt, a lot is happening everyday and I pray you dont have sad/bad/ugly scenario before you'd be convinced... only the good God's protection and grace can safe.

Thank your stars that you were aware of their tricks...

Unlucky for me someone in my family felt victim of them about five weeks ago within Ibadan, going to J-Allen at Cocoa House from Challenge, the cabs on the queue at the garage was empty, so she decided to go get the ones that picks passengers on the go (Soole), before they could get to Mobil bus/stop, they had done their evil work, she gave them 10k the first day she entered their God forsaken cab and later went to give them 40k the next day, they nearly carried her away but with God's intervention she was dropped off at Ibadan/Ife express way... only the good God knows how the people that witnessed the Shoka scenario got there...

May the good God's protection never cease from us...

My recent One-chance Experience along Lagos/Ibadan Express

This was last week Saturday 29/11/2014 between 1-2pm

I was going to drop an item for a client @ a filling station close to ojodu berger, after I had finished with the clients I went to the bus stop, but there was no bus. That seemed funny to me because earlier buses were all over the place, so I waited until a vehicle (Golf) came by and asked where I was going. I told him "Mowe".

He said "one hundred naira", to which I agreed and boarded.

I met one guy at the back seat, one in front and then the driver. We had not gone far when the driver started asking for the fare.

He said he wants to get fuel at the next fuel station. However, I noticed that I was the only one who gave him money, even though the driver actually asked everyone in the vehicle for their money, I thought to myself.

I looked at the guy seated beside me at the backseat. He was wearing a reserved smile.

I looked away, but not up to 5 minutes drive from where I was picked the driver stopped, and was talking to the guy seated beside me. Their conversation went thus…..

Driver : Oga na the place be this Ooh na here you go come down
(looking outside at the Multi Trex chocolate factory which was at opposite side of the road).

Guy : Go open your boot make I carry my bag.

Driver : Ehen!! wetin you say you carry inside that ya bag?
(I was beginning to suspect them, I was waiting for one of them to mention money- in -the -boot)

Guy : My documents and some other tins.

Driver : So if no be dat woman wey come down for Opic with 2 cartons of Gala, I no for know say na money you carry inside that bag.

(and they did mention it, I looked around to make sure all of my items were in my bag, my hands went strait to the door, I opened and came down swiftly beyond my imagination, I didn’t even utter any word I just walked away from them, I didn’t allow them to finish their scene, they speed off immediately I came down).

I went strait to where I can get a bus, and I kept thinking wat the f**K just happened!!! What if that one hundred naira was the only cash at hand what will
I do, jeeesus!!!

I was just laughing inside me.

PLEASE… I decided to share this so that others will be carefull, if you are reading this please inform your friends that these guys have resumed business again and their strategy has not changed,

Private cars usually pick people on the express and they collect money just like commercial transporters, with this kind of experience I don’t think I will ever take private cars again,.

I thank God for his divine protection smiley

That very day i was having mental overload; i had too much in my mind, and these Mofo's want to come and add their own to it angry.

My sense was abused angry, and that's one of the reason i was pissed and never uttered any word. sad

Business / Re: First Bank Plc: Fraud Alert? by oluromeo(m): 7:38pm On Sep 24, 2011
@doctokwus - why are you too quick to judge? anyways, thanks for the insult but YOU SHOULD BE LITERATE ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO INSULT PEOPLE on the internet. You could be rich more than the richest man on earth to have over uncountable money at least left in your bank account, you could leave that to your bank policy. But here, we are talking about students savings account and I just posted that, so other students who cant afford the policy would know how to get their money sent and make use of the money for whatever they needed if for, rather than some policies unknowingly boycotting their money.

@others - thanks for your comments.
Business / Re: First Bank Plc: Fraud Alert? by oluromeo(m): 8:16am On Sep 24, 2011
Thanks for your comments but I wouldn't have sent the money if I'd been notified.
Not every student can afford the policy of N2,500 left in a student savings account (A students saving account?).
Business / First Bank Plc: Fraud Alert? by oluromeo(m): 11:45am On Sep 21, 2011
It is so painful when we are voiceless in our own country, About a couple of hours ago i sent money to a student's first bank account in O.A.U Ile-Ife from Lagos, not knowing (both parties) that the so called bank now have a new policy without prior notification to their customers. First Bank Plc now has the policy that you must have minimum of two-thousand five hundred naira (N2,500) left in your bank account, meanwhile the account is student savings account.
Business / Re: Why Can't Money Be Sufficiently Printed For Our Use? by oluromeo(m): 9:04am On Aug 01, 2011
Great Post.

This thread worth what every Nigerian should have their comments on.

There are many questions to be answered concerning many problem arousal causing abject poverty in Nigeria. Inflation or deflation, our dear naira had already lost its value even at home (don't deceive yourselves), take for instance, if you spend N5 <N5 is basically the truly lowest denomination going out-dated> out of N500, in the next moment you will have to calm down and recalculate over and over and over again how it was spent, thinking you lost some out of the money due to having that huge amount of money while buying so little thing with it. Thus, this was not how Nigeria was.

I am not an economist yet by reading from this thread i'd realized great understanding of what the posters initial question was about and a lot of replies had answered a great deal, but there is always BUTS when it comes to Nigerian matter at hand. It's plain and simple that we all know the situation this our dear country is in but the truth is our governments are not doing the right thing at the right time which is the cause for framing VISION 20-NOTHING. I wonder what their problems are. to simply think for ways to make this country a better place, they can't do. God the almighty will save us one day.

Nigeria is a great nation of which i believe we don't really have to depend on fake dreams when we can wake up and rise up and make our country a better place for everybody to live, and gladly say the future is today (the future shouldn't be when we are dead, the future is while we are alive, the future is now). Nigeria too can become a developed country if we change our ways from bad to good, when we learn to have real love for one another. It is cruelty and fake love (abnormality, madness and demo craziness) for some human beings to steal this country money (millions and billions of money) by style, it is likewise uncalled-for mentality for government to receive millions of naira in their bank accounts as monthly salary (without delay) while minimum wage is still a question to pay an answer to. Do we run a crazy governmental system here?

It is great shame on all our leaders, our governments. They virtually do nothing to make the masses live better throughout their years in the office.

The issue in Nigeria is not to print excess money (pardon me if that's a mistake), meanwhile money could be printed if necessary to fill in the gaps of this problematic Nigeria, If more money is printed our government stands another chance of robbing it again and have excuses to give us grammars (jargon) and tell us we have over-supernatural-hyper-inflated-inflation (God forbid). The issue is to ask why we have heartless, wicked and inhuman leaders (who doesn't care for citizens, at time i wonder why we vote, when the politicians tease us like kids), why would some people fill their pocket with billion of naira (when you wont take a dime with you when you are dead).Yet the government (still negotiate a few thousand naira) cannot meet up with the minimum wage.

The money shared by the leaders (governments) should be drastically decreased, perhaps the money could be circulated, there wont be inflation. It is just to let the common man live a life worth living.

Although whether being economist or not, we should leave psycho aside and come to our common senses to make our own world a place worth living, for old and young, girls and boys, man and woman.

Nigeria have all (resources) it takes to have good and affordable education, good and affordable health care, better roads, stable and steady electricity power supply, good tap water, safe security, good and affordable accommodation to list but a few of which it could be implemented with Nigeria monetary account (because this God blessed country is really rich but we [the masses] live in pain and poverty) not from the leaders individual bank accounts.

The government should look into the right direction and live with the people they rule, in other to know how we live life and make the right changes to the economy and to Nigeria as a whole.

There are many solutions to Nigerian problems, we just need the right people to apply those solutions at the right time which is now.

Nigeria will arise to its glory for the whole wide world to see again and Nigeria will stay glorious, (Amen).
