Back in a farm, there lived a horse and a duck. One day,the horse was munching away it food after a day race,the duck walked up to him, you can only run which is the only thing you can do,but look at me said the duck with pride, i can do three different things,i can walk,i can fly and i can swim, the horse cast it look forward as if looking at the future,it smiled and shook it head at the same time, yes you can do three different things,but which one are u perfect at said the calm horse,if you say you can walk, can you walk faster than other birds? if you say you can swim can you swim like the fish not to talk of swimming in a great river where you will drown and if you say you can fly,can you fly like other birds? To all this question the duck said NO, but look at me continued the horse, yes i can do just öne thing but i am good at it,for this kings and mighty men decorate him i am unique. The duck went away looking morose. The End… Moral lesson Be unique at what you do even ìf it is just a single ability.jack of all trade,master of none. |

Lets go back home, my stomach is longing for food, now you say you are hungry, but i am angry, this is fruitless and useless, what do we tell mama at home, when we go back with our empty bag slung over our sholder. what do we tell her? That the animals went for a feast, that the trees had grown higher than our height, that the plants have all dried up, and we wandered about through the lonely forest, yet we couldn’t find anything. Mama, we are back, our strenght draining like a leaking bucket, and our sweat gland emiting sweat like water but we can’t drink it, it is saltry! where is the meat,the fruits and the plants? so you may eat and kill hunger. mama,they are all in our bags, is it outside? These are empty! Outside? No they are not, Emptiness, mama is what we brought back, for the forest is empty, we wandered and wandered to no avail, we heard the parrot say “the animals went for a feast, we saw the trees shoot up as they saw us, the plants dried up with our touch, then we came home. You say you saw the parrot, couldn’t you shoot at it? You say you saw the trees shoot up, what are your hands and legs for? if not to climb. You say, you touch the plant and they dried up, why wouldn’t they, when they saw lazy hands on them. Emptiness is what you brought, laziness is what you shall eat tonight, for all along i had heard your voices at the back of the hut. Was that your forest? |

The cry of a Woulded lion Crying like a wailing child, whose mother just spanked, I fumbled and rumbled at little words spoken to me. my heart ache at the pain, I’m being made to go through by my fellow brothers, they make me look inferior despite all the help I rendered to them in the past years, when I still held sway in all ramifications, but now that I have gone infamous due to the reckless act of my offspring, they seek to pay my good with bad. They became hostile to my offspring, who had learned to live with them, Now all’they do is send my offspring back to me, after they deprive them of their hard earned property. I vow to repay them in their coins, in as much as i want, my submission to the power that be wouldn’t let me, I can’t carry it out because my offspring had dried me up, leaving me to dine and wine with poverty. I ve gone low than my brothers, who bow at my feet in the past, today they lord over me, This is my cry………. who will hear my wane to aid me…… my children have gone wild to be of help…… my brothers turn their back at me, even as I cry till this moment, seeking the day my flood of tears would be dried before its too late, till then I will keep on crying and wailing……. Friday, October 18, 2013 Saka fights Chukwumerije in the 2nd CCSF International Taekwondo Open in Abuja Popular comic actor and MTN brand ambassador, Oyetoro Hafiz aka Saka is set for a Taekwondo showdown this weekend with Nigerian 3-time Olympian medallist, Chika Chukwumerije. Also, Taekwando enthusiasts from over eight African countries, 25 Nigerian states, 7 Universities and para- military representatives are in Abuja for what has been dubbed the biggest taekwondo sports event in the country – the 2nd CCSF International Taekwondo sports open. The Taekwondo showdown by Saka and Chika will be an exhibition fight on Sunday Oct. 20th 2013. This sports event put together by the Chika Chukwumerije Sports Foundation, (CCSF), is the 2nd International Taekwondo tournament and will hold in Abuja from October 19 - 20, 2013.
