Toyota corolla 1999/2000, it's better to buy from a trusted user, some Nigerians are poor car users, they only self off, when vehicle has a major issues. Shine your eyes. |
Well this is nice, those of us that watch sci-fi movies, would surely have interest in it. |
Bumbae1:A kid in basic six is not 6years old.. . And I agree, we need to educate our young ones on sex...If we don't someone else or something else would.. .. remember Mr a can live in the same environment with Mr b and never behave the same. |
The Toyota corolla is great, fuel economy, maintenance affordable, Good for bad roads, but note that it's an easy target for theives, handling on speed is not great, if you like engine power, then look at the avalon or the camry. |
@op..... Your experience.... is wow.. But the big lesson remains, we should all be observant when driving. |

While it's not surprising that some person don't believe in God, it's not enough for anyone to insult them. For God so loved the world that a gave his only begotten son, that whomsoever believes shall not perish but have everlasting life. |

This comparison again!!. As far as I am concerned, we would all go to the Labour market, whether private or public, that's when you show the stuff, you are made of...... I all see here is bragging rites, do not boast of your self, but boast of the Lord, that's one of edges that distinguish them. Training is more than academics, like someone stated : life. Are graduates been equipped apart from academics and life, what about how to live in our generation where almost everything is perverse, where young people can't find do jobs, some individuals cook the book, etc. |
GodsClan:Check your cooling thermostat and radiator, had same issue on my corolla, those two where the major culprit |
It all depends, if traffic flow is between a few seconds to a minute or two, I break down normal, if traffic increases to about 3 to 4 minutes, I place on neutral, if traffic is getting to 10minutes and more Park is more appropriate. |
It all boils down to the foundation of your relationship and even the new one your presume to enter, a quick advice is to never start a relationship on a emotional and sensual level. Start with the spiritual, everyone as a religion, it teaches us some very important attitudes, like self control, balance, patience for both parties. Move on to the intellectual, are your goals the same, do want the same things in life, are you in sync or for show. Lastly is the sensual part, and integral part of any relationship, should in most cases come last. Don't enter any relationship because, you feel lonely, if you can't make your self happy, how can you make another person happy, you choose to be the person you are by the way you are. @prestigouslady |
It is possible, save 30k for 2 and a half years, u might get the right small car, and you eventually get the car, it's all about maintenance, remember a car to even those that can afford it, are not assest... . Depreciates over time. |

Brother... Op, dropping someone that early in the morning sef, some girls no dey fear ooo, I would incase of next time either drop ur passengers at their destination because of the time or wait till late in the morning to move... This is Lagos.... not New York city that never sleeps. |
Wow....Me am my small toyota corolla just looking jejely.. .. ..People go just dey dust me(fear go catch me, make I no burn my engine) . .. .. One day I will buy my dream car... . And by that time, I clear would anything on the road.. . Lol. |
GAZZUZZ:Thanks boss.. . will do |
GAZZUZZ:I am not sure atm, I have already spent a lot on this issue, infact after making some changes and adding gas, I might resolve to managing without AC |
Mine was just a scratch not dent sef, but I have been bashed recently by so many drivers in Lagos, I wonder how some people got their drivers license especially commercial bus drivers. If you drive too slow to avoid bashing, some people would say you're too slow, too fast, you're told you drive rough. In fact don't know what to do on Lagos road, I don't bother driving sometimes, considering I just repainted the car and I already have 10k worth of re-doing the body. In conclusion shine ur eye even those ones who are experienced would still bash you, drive with your sixth sense. |
@gazzuzz and car guru's, I have some issues with my car AC, cools very well(infact) to much when weather is cool, but during the the afternoon it cools also but, passengers at the back hardly feel it. Also when I switch of the AC, I hear a sound which sounds like a low battery. Please assist or I can book an appointment with you. Toyota corolla 1999, just changed the compressor few months ago, same issue before changing it. |

@op for that price range.... you can buy a tokunbo, you can definitely buy a Nigerian used, after proper testing and even if your friend would need extra amount for car registration and license and definitely there would need to be worked done on the vehicle. I recommend a small vehicle, 1.6l probably a toyota corolla, less fuel consumption, parts are readily available. He buys a vehicle for 500k Registration of car/license for about 50k Gradual replacement of Worn out or loose parts for about 100k Servicing of Engine after purchase - 20k (reason been most Nigerian drivers have poor maintenance culture. Pimping about 100k If your friend is lucky he can see a vehicle that hasn't be poorly used, purchase it and gradually do all the above. The truth is, with the way the society is, I hardly believe a junior salary earner can purchase a tokunbo, some people may never even own a car or drive one. Speaking from experience, I earn as much as ur friend, I purchased a used Nigerian vehicle but I had it in mind that I was gonna rebuild and love-vendor it gradually, which I have done, people envy the car now. If if your friend purchases the vehicle, should be ready to face the risk and he doesn't well he's gonna spend it on his forthcoming marriage... both are not in itself investment. |
I believe there are better ways to engage in this sport, we have school grounds, open spaces etc |
Specialist900:wow... and to think the guy sat as a passenger observing.... |
diportivo:The police on oyo - "ogbomoso road plenty oooo make sure your papers are up to date. the roads too are not so good, so you have to shine your eyes well. |
