Well this turned out to be a private school bashing thread; everyone is entitled to his/her opinion but one thing is certain, everyone's gonna hit the labour market where you have to prove whether ur Government/Private uni cert is a fluke.

As youths why don we start from the results generated from the schools, instead of comparison; we have to back up our opinions with solid evidences.

Which means look around you check out those who grad from private school and government schools in the environment, are they any better or worse.

When we learn to accept points of views as a nation then we would move, comparing a school of over 50years pedigree to a school clocking 10years seems far fetched.

As for me, I enrolled at Alliance Française and concluded with the first stage yesterday.

For those who have the time, amongst other things, I feel we should consider learning a language (not necessarily a foreign one though) to add to our competencies. It also could be of help in personal situations. Personally, I hope to use french prociency in growing a venture of mine next year.

French, English and Mandarin chinese (in no particular order) are some important foreign languages. Our local dialects are also of importance so, we could venture into learning at least one besides our mother tongue.

At least, while we can, let's do what we can to improve ourselves.

i believe its just best for a masters degree applicant in unilag to not bother buying past questions as not more than 10 questions in the whole 3k or 2.5k booklet get repeated. so next tym ya'll shudnt waste ur money on useless PQ but rather delve deep into the course u applying for by getting textbooks to read b4 d exam. unilag sef, they just use the entrance exam to scale down d number of students they will admit n so hence they make their questions difficult

Although questions were not reapeted but the past question served as a Guide, personally I think its not a waste of you buy it early enough, some peeps decided to buy 2days / a week before exam.

Its an entrance exam , if they repeat question then I would be disappointed.

Good advise since you're writing today, but make sure u go along with your receipt, copy of your form and necessary details so you can be aided.(just in case)

When I did mine, I first downloaded the PDF print out and send it to my mail box and then sent to a desktop before printing.

When the school is on holidays there should be proper fumigation of hostels by the management, besides the matresses are as old as time, its due for a change, the school should a system that manages buildings etc

Yes someone / relative can claim it on the persons behalf if the person dies.

For surgery/ admission : I am not so sure the way it works, but if one gets incapacitated then its possible to lay claims on your insurance for assistance.

Although most mobile insurance are usually short term like 1yrs or 2yrs....not sure.

*Note: yould have to make sure you read their polices and terms/conditions very well and their clauses to be double sure.

For more info call ur mobile network, ask them which of the company you are under, they should give more information or a shortcode to get more info on the policy.

I think churches should be security conscious now more than ever, employ the use of CCTV in strategic and vigilantes because most church robberies are perpetrated from the inside.
