Boss, it's been rectified... Turns out that it was a faulty disc tray, so i had it changed and voila my FMCB booted up and my games loaded.

Ok.. How do i update the Openps2loader? Is it already on my Ps2 memory card cos it has some folders namely FreeMCBoot, OPL, BOOT and Sys Bin.

A clear guide/tutorial would be appreciated.. Taking into account that i'm a noob and that the Ps2 is already hacked, and also that i have a flash drive with a game(iso) i downloaded in it. Thank you.

If it helps i just bought the Ps2 like recently and the previous owners Flash drive got lost so i had to buy a new one and i downloaded an iso on it.. I wonder if i have to do anything else on my flash.

Update Openps2loader to latest version and copy your iso to Sdcard/DVD folder.

Also most last gen games will run on high settings at hd 1336*768 resolution. Current gen games will run at medium to low settings at hd resolution.

You might have to increase your budget a bit. I would also recommend you look for some of those acer aspire series with the G suffix e.g acer aspire 5750G or acer aspire E1-571G. The "G" in the model name means the laptop has a dedicated graphics card. As far as you are not looking for a new one, with about 70k you should be able to get at least a core i5 2nd gen laptop which has a decent dedicated gpu. Just check notebookcheck for the reviews and benchmarks of the laptop.

Don't let the fancy gpu name fool you. It's a really weak graphics card and even the integrated gpu in 3rd gen core i3, i5 and i7 PCs perform better than it does.
