What you see right there is called an Adam and Eve Bottom. Immediately the pattern is confirmed the minimum price projection is $42,800.

Notice that BTC faced tremendous selling pressure within that prize zone as well. I would have closed my position at that point if I was in your shoes.

My sentiments on BTC is still bearish though.

The time you could have sold out your position was when BTC was at $42,800 it was at this price that ETH was $3,500.
At these price range both coins were warming up to enter Wave-3 which is usually the longest wave in the 5 wave cycle.

The 5-wave cycle is complete and we're going through a correction stage. Prices can only fluctuate for now, I don't really know how long though.

However, if enter another 5-wave cycle you will definitely be liquidated. However, if after the correction BTC rallies up, then you may get back some of your money.

Reason I don't use stop loss sometimes is because it could get to the stop price and bounce back immediately.
That way, I'd be taken off the trade and miss the profits that's coming with th bouncing.

No No No! Please always use stop loss.
If the position of the market is not clear to you then don't enter the trade and wait till the market is clear enough. Always getting stopped out shows your trading set up was not accurate.

It sometimes happens that even after deep Analysis the market may close your position based on stop loss. If that happens then it's perfectly fine. You cannot be a winner all the time.

You can adjust your stop loss based on how much you can afford to lose if the trade goes against you.

Since the Wave-5 has been formed according to Elliott Wave Analysis. BTC will just undergo a series of prolonged corrections for now.

When the correction is over then we will see whether it will bounce back up or test $39k. We will just have to be patient and wait for some price action.

Please always set your stop loss. Never hold on on to a losing position. If a commodity declines please sell and move on with your life. Don't tie your capital to a bad trade. Just imagine the fate of an investor that bought BTC at $55k and has since refused to sell.
If you use the common sense we use to navigate real life and apply it to trading you are doomed to fail. Don't try to be a hero by holding on to a losing position. Immediately you see -10% just sell and move on. I even sell at -3% to -5%. If the trade recovers you can reenter or even sit back and wait for price action.

But please never tie yourself down to a losing trade.

Nothing serious happening for now. All we have are Doji bars for the last 2 hours which signals Indecision in the market.
However, notice that the Doji bars are trending downwards on the 1-hour chart, this is a signal that the market is still bearish.
We would have to wait up until 5pm to 6pm before we draw any further conclusions.

On the 5-mins chart it seems we have a "Broadening Formation" Pattern. This tells me that if prices falls lower then it means we are in for a downtrend.

A hammer is has formed on the 1 hour chart. Let's wait till 3pm, if the price closes above the high of that hammer then it's probably going to moon and exceed $0.32, target1 should be $0.35.

If by 3pm prices close below the low of the hammer then it's still in a correction and may trade lower.

Prices actually declined on the 5-mins chart as predicted. The reason is the triple top that formed.

However from the looks of things on the 5-mins chart I suspect it's trying to form an inverted Head and Shoulders Pattern. If the Pattern is complete then it's going to Trade higher.

CHZ has already formed a triple top on the 5-mins and that's a strong signal that it's going to decline for the next couple of minutes(up to 40mins)

On 1 - hour chart it seems that CHZ is going through a short correction. Wait for some price action, if the price falls below $0.3 then it's going down from there.
However if prices don't fall this low then it's going to rally up in the next couple of hours.

For now I advise you sit back and wait for some price action.

No. Buying now would be extremely risky.

A round top has formed. This is an indication that the prices would soon fall. Also, the candles formed are also bearish reversal candles, the hammer behind that bearish engulfing candle is enough to conclude that prices would fall soon.


Wait for some price action before buying so that you don't have to buy at the top.

The coin is obviously in some super down trend. Don't trade against the trend, you're not superman.

I don't really understand how they calculate this cumulative trading. I joined crypto just early November as shown in the screenshot below but my cumulative trading is $78k.

Although it may be because 100% of my trades are done on the Futures Market as I have no interests in the spot market.

Although as a newbie, the guy that introduced me to Crypto only do spot trading and told me that Futures is dangerous. After 2 weeks of trading in the spot market I made good profits from SANDBOX but I lost a lot of money when BTC dipped. I left crypto for 3 straight weeks to study. I read several books on Candlestick Charts and how to trade Chart patterns and that improved my prediction on price movements. The BTC dip really made me understand that Technical Analysis is a must for every trader.

Disclaimer: I hate Technical Indicators and I don't ever use them on my charts. I only study the patterns formed by the candles to study the movements of prices. The only indicator I ever use is the 20-period moving average on the 5-mins chart and I only do it to avoid drawing trend lines. I am not in any way advocating for the use of MACD, RSI, Blah Blah Blah.

If you're talking about the ones on top Gainers then I can confidently tell you that those coins are being manipulated by whales. Going in is a gamble.
