Thank you so much. But we are still stuck trying to get the matching brainbox. We have tried over 15 brainboxes from Onitcha and enugu here still no luck.
Please advise me further cos I'm considering selling the car before it sinks me into depression. This is my first car and I've not had the mind to even drive it. |

Good afternoon all.
My husband got a 2003 toyota rav4 last month but the car doesn't select gear 1 and has slow acceleration. I also noticed trembling by the bonnet. The seller said he changed the brainbox before selling it to us.
We took it back to another mechanic who used a computer to diagnose the error. He informed us that the same brainbox that was recently changed does not suit the car. He tried some other boxes in Coal Camp Enugu that still doesn't suit. Please what else can we do? This is our first family car and the experience is not nice at all.
I am just hearing about B.B VIN. How.do I go about it? Below is the chassis number;
Chasis no : JTEHH20V636088049
I would really appreciate any advice or guidance. |

Pls did you get scholarship? Either SI or University. Lionize: Focus on the application fee and work towards getting a scholarship. If it doesn't work, then abandon. |

Congratulations Ebim and Lioneze. We anxiously await your memoirs. |

Inadmissibility due to inadmissible family member. Thanks a lot dear. |

Goodafternoon house. I have been following this thread for a while and I am getting really enlightened. However I have a situation for a colleague who was banned for misrepresentation.
Her hubby wants to apply for Express Entry, she asked me if he will be also inadmissible since they are married even though the lady is not accompanying.
Should her hubby carry or will be have to wait for her?
Note: they both have an understanding about his movement plans. |

jnyuwa02: Maybe wait till you accumulate more work history. If you are financially buoyant though, this should not be a problem. Enclose 46m Naira SOA and watch employment and ties or personal asset in country disappear. But if you don't have that much, you have to improvise some other ways to meet to their objections. How you assembled your application and what you had to say, all gives the VO a glimpse into your mindset. Getting married after the denial of an application is fine, but you should have talked about it in a way that portrays you as NOT desperate to go to Canada. Please give a second party to look at your SOP for a fresh perspective and outlook on strategies to take. Wishing you the best the third time. Third time they say is "the charm." Thank you. I'll work towards the personal asset thingy. I believe gradually I ll get it together. I appreciate your contribution. |

bbclue: Please i want you to look very closely with your work experience.....to me i will say u should seat down and compare the two refusal reason...... analyse it.to your own understanding...and also did u attached your sibling birth certificates.to me o think your sop is not that strong Thanks BB. In my first app I submitted a letter from the school where I tutored disabled students. The denial reasons didn't question my job relation to my intent. Only that I wanted to spend so much relocating to canada to study such a course whereas i could have studied in here. In my second app I stated that I was married and I move to lagos to join hubby then got a job in a Centre that handles development of Disabled people. Three months into the job, I reapplied for visa. Stating in my SOP the importance of studying the course outside and why I chose a research based school in canada. The office also wrote a letter on my behalf. What else should I have added? I stated that after studies I ll come back to join my hubby cos marital responsibility awaits me. What else did I miss? Only for them to start telling me employment prospect and personal assets. |

All hope is not lost dear, Be strong and have faith in God. I'll advice you try again for the very last time. Now, I can see that canadian visa is turning into a raffle draw game(Game of luck). Nevethless, God will see us through. Amen!

jnyuwa02: Sorry to hear of your predicament. Please apply again a third time and see. Defer to fall term. Meanwhile, I will suggest you have a plan B. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. USA student visa is not unnecessarily stringent like Canada. A lot of schools give out scholarship to internationals. Many German universities are free by and large. But you have to spend one year in a crash German language class before starting. Australia is good too. Best of luck. Thanks a lot Jeremy |

Good afternoon family, I got denied yesterday the 2nd time.
Undergraduate degree - Communication and Language Art, Upper Division U.I M.A- Disability Studies, University of Manitoba. $5,400 CAD funding.
First Application 11th May, 2017 online route I submitted all documents including letter of employment and introduction letter from a private secondary school where I tutor disabled students. Sponsorship: Br - In-law with $34k CAD No personal assets cos I just finished NYSC Denial reasons: Purpose of visit, Travel history.
I ordered GCMS NOTES which questioned my reason for studying such a course in Canada bearing the high cost of relocation. Also that I have limited hometies: single with no child. I haven't traveled to Canada before.
Second Application 8th of September, 2017. Online route. Deferred my admission and I tackled GCMS NOTES by including my marriage certificate and change of name( Got married in June after my first application). Hubby's letter of employment, ID cards and pay slips including letter of consent. Sponsor paid $2000 part tuition. I submitted new letter of appointment and introduction letter from my new job here in lagos. No payslip and no personal assets. Got denied again 24th October. Reasons; Purpose of visit, employement prospect, current employment situation in country of residence and no personal assets.
I feel so bad to be honest. I tried all I could to address previous denial. All to no avail. I don't know how God gave me Masters admission with funding yet no visa to resume. I had already deferred admission from Fall to January Winter.
Pls I need your help family. Whether to let this go or to try again. If Canada doesn't want people to come and study they should stop offering high-hope admissions. It's seriously unfair. PhocusJosh and I applied with 2 days interval. We were both offered the same refusal at the same time with the same reasons. The correspondence letter appeared like automated messages to me. It's like it's the same VO who attended to us both. He didn't even scrutinize it thoroughly - just dished the messages out.
I'm sorry for the long post. It hurts though! |

The miracle here is that I applied 18 August, 2017 whereas I did that medical 18th August, 2016 before applying for my previous app.
I call forth my PPR letter now in Jesus name; Amen. Great. Let me save MB to congratulate you this week. |

I was suppose to resume last month but because of the delay I had to defer my admission to march next year. Now do I have to send a mail to the embassy that the admission have been deferred to next year or I should wait from a feedback from them? Thanks very much in advance Don't say a word about it yet. Just wait for their feedback. Cos you might tell them you deferred admission then they'll now chill over your application with cold bottle of Coke! |

If so, their birth certificates are not NPC certificate but local birth certificates and court declaration of age, please will it be acceptable.
More so, can I show a court document stating my dad's has been transferred to me after his demise or just the house document with my dad's name is ok. It will be very good if you show court document stating the transfer of property upon dad's demise. That is a very thick hometie for you! Siblings' birth certificates might be just 30%. #Myopinion |

Markab: You've got a good profile here. However, I once fell of victim of this your scenario, I applied to university of Manitoba stating a name of a supervisor while applying without contacting him. Lo and behold, I got rejected with reason of non acceptance by the proposed supervisor. Please contact him/her immediately.
Did you apply for a Course based or research master's degree? In either case, you must contact them, that's UofM for you. Mine was course based But I thought U of M offers admission based on the approval of supervisor. If your supervisor doesn't approve of you or is not available, the department will write to you. As a matter of fact, your supervisor will be the one to forward your name to Faculty of Graduate Studies for approval. Pls what course are you talking about here?? |
