Politics / Re: Gov Alia Set To Deliver The Largest Fly-over Connecting North To South [photos] by Omalicious1: 6:26pm On Mar 28
BenuePolitician:
His Excellency very Rev.Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Alia the Executive governor of Benue state recently flagged off the construction of the high level underpass in the state capital Makurdi,
The re-development of the WURUKUM ROUND- ABOUT is getting set to follow immediately, with investitued support from the FG ranging in many Billions of Naira, this Mega-project which involves the total collapse, expansion and re-development of the Biggest land road connecting the North to the South needs to be taken in hindsight, and carefully orchestrated with much prerogative to safety, quality, time and ( in-future) maintenance inorder to produce a spectacle worthy of National Accolades as this goes to portray the many good intentions Mr. Governor has for the state.

After proper Feasibility studies on the proposed project site carried out by SEEDUFY MULTIBUSINESS one of the leading Civil Engineering Contractors in the country, the following critical deductions were founded:

1. Road Traffic Diversion

It is worthy of note that the WURUKUM ROUND about receives traffic from four different major roads viz a viz North bank - Otupko road, Gboko -High level road, with a road Traffic no fewer than 10,000 vehicles and Motorcycle per day it will be necessary that this road traffic is adequately re-diverted through WURUKUM Market and NORTH BANK to link up to town areas.

2. Round About/Fly Over construction

This Heavy Engineering construction work requires a total Demolition, expansion and construction of a Flyover road. This is sure to see the use of Large Diameter support Columns, and well Reinforced concrete Beams. As evidenced with other places of construction it is advisable that the use of Pre-cast, and Prestressed construction Elements is favoured for the Flyover design and construction hence this method of heavy structure Development is proven to be safe, time saving and structurally sound.

3. The Rice Mill Market

While this heavy construction work is set to consume a good amount of work space, the fate of Market traders at the popular under bridge rice Mill Market remains hanging in the Balance hence due commencement of this Mega project is sure to bring a halt to overall movement around the construction area therefore, market traders around this area are sure to see a fall in patronage due to a lack of vehicular movement in and around the area. It will be of adequate Necessity that these traders are temporarily relocated to a new venue before the Project kicks off.

No problem.

Questions

1. Can he fund the project from start to finish without getting a loan?

2. Can he finish the project within 4 years?

If the answers to 1 & 2 is NO, then make him die the matter.

Employee Caught Sharing Customer’s Credit Card Information with Her Friend via FaceTime

An employee has been caught sharing a customer's credit card details with her friends via FaceTime, while pretending to be attending to the customer.

In the video, you can see the employee subtly lifting the card of an unsuspecting customer and sharing it with her friend on the other end of FaceTime.

This shows the importance of remaining vigilant whenever you use your credit card.

Always keep your eyes on your card and never allow it to be used out of your sight.

I hope this serves as a wake-up call, and that you never become careless when using your credit card for transactions.

okine4real:

Let me educate you, if I build my house three years ago, and I renovate my house every three years, the materials I will purchased, would be purchased at the current market price. There is a difference between face me I face you house and flats. Face me I face you houses, the landlords or whom ever inherits the house do not renovate, so the house is always in a bad state, but for flats, for like myself, I renovate every three years and I paint every three years, so I will always increase my rent. Let me give you another instance, if you move into my house three years ago, and the rent was 400k, after three years, I renovate, renovating let's say your section alone cost me 150k, where do you think I will add 150k too? If I Renovate my house for you, then expect increasement in rent.

I appreciate your opinion, just that most landlords I know don't renovate

Why did government increase the price of fuel that is always there?

If you understand how inflation works you will understand that everything is connected.

Ideally, every Landlord should give adequate notice to tenants when increasing rent. This will allow for proper planning from both sides.

Honestly speaking, Landlord-Tenant cases in court should not be more than a week before judgement is giving. If the court can adopt 1week time frame for tenancy case, Landlords and Tenants won't be having problems regarding rents.

Please, kindly explain the increment in rent of a house in which if anything gets spoilt, it's the tenants that repair such thing. Because most landlords are just after getting their rents, even his the roof is leaking, it's the tenant that fixes it.

Romance / Re: I Sent Her Out Of My House Late In The Night: Did I Do The Right Thing? by Omalicious1: 7:09pm On Mar 23
AyobamiOluwole:
So this girl has been coming to my place, eat the best food and all that. I've asked her if she has a boyfriend and she said no. I do give her money without asking her for anything on return because I could see she is not the lazy type and she is really hardworking. I am very much ok with finances and I see no issues with some of her demands.

Yesterday I called her and told her that I'm not happy and that I need cuddle only and not sex(I lost so much Dollars from futures trading that night). She later called and said she will come to my place for that reason. In my mind I was thinking this will go down as sex and all, but I don't really want sex.

All I just needed is someone to cuddle and get distracted with that's all. This is the only time I am demanding something from her.

So she came during the evening time, and later that night we went to supermarket and I got her something's to eat at home for the night. We got back home and everything was going well. We were both on the bed when I reminded her why she came. This is someone I've been doing quite a lot for without even thinking twice out of pity. She wouldn't give in and wouldn't let me know why she can't just allow me to cuddle her.

Mehn, from the loss I had earlier and all that, I got infuriated and called another girl telling to pls come over for the night. Then I told this girl to leave my house since she can be that selfish. I sent her out of my house around 10pm. She was telling me she doesn't have money to go home, I didn't care and I shut my door against her. Though I was scared letting her out on that road and that time of the night but my anger got the better part of me. It was later after getting over the whole thing I confirmed nothing happened to her from someone else.

Pls is there anything wrong with what I did?

Modified: Anger is a bad thing. I am wrong sending her away at that time of the night. This is probably the judgement I'll get 😔

One thing you should understand about the female nature is that they've a short-lived gratitude. Secondly, the positive side of your anger is that you have showed her a part of she never expected (that will keep her in check if she's smart). Finally, the negative side of your anger, sending her out by that time wasn't too cool security wise
