rotecch77: Check these out I noticed some places already have light accessories before painting. Which actually come first, accessories before painting or painting before accessories? Painting before accessories seems ideal to avoid paint stains or being messed up, little maintenance later are more easier to keep accessories neat in my opinion. |

Good day Spyder, Please, what is the importance of primer on an interior screeded wall before applying satin paint? The explanation of better sticking is not convincing as satin is oily based that sticks and is washable/cleanable and most paints contain primer agent in its material composition especially the satin models of paint.
Thanks. |

Good day Spyder, I remembered when you posted these prices then I thought the prices were still affordable by the time my project will get to electrical work, fast forward ⏩ to 2026, I bought a coil of 1.5mm cable for ₦35000, 2.5mm ₦56000, 4mm ₦93000, 10mm ₦233000 lol. I also remember you screeded one of your project later after tilling( being trying to find the thread), my question is how did you protected the tiles from screeding paint stain and messing it up? Knowing our workmen with their careless and selfish attitude

Business › Re: Excited Man Flaunts Bundle Of Naira After Exchanging 800 Cedis (Photos/Video) by omanzo02: 8:30pm On Jan 10 |
Richtaiwo: Contrary to the drama he’s trying to stage, nothing, absolutely nothing, is easy anywhere in the world. Life is not a roadside promo where currencies are exchanged with vibes and confidence.
So, since he’s proudly waving that bundle of naira and announcing it equals 800 cedis, perhaps he should also enlighten us, how long did it take him to earn it? Or is he implying that the same sweat that coughs out N800 in Nigeria will magically summon 800 cedis in Ghana?
Yes, a thousand dollars today is roughly N1.5 million. Very impressive. But let’s not insult basic reasoning, is the effort required to earn N1,000 the same effort needed to earn $1,000? Is it equally likely that someone will casually gift you N1,000 the same way an American will casually gift you $1,000? If that were true, birthdays in Lagos would look like Wall Street bonuses.
We constantly hear of people earning $2,500–$3,000 monthly abroad. Fair enough. But has anyone ever heard of someone in US, same job category, same skill level as Nigeria, earning $300,000 monthly in the US? If yes, please provide evidence, not vibes.
Yes, the naira is weak. Nobody is disputing that. But turning every exchange rate comparison into a circus act is unnecessary exaggeration. Currency value is not a comedy skit, and economics is not impressed by social media mockery. Let’s tone down the theatrics and apply a little sense, just a little.
Meanwhile, Ghana redominated its currency not quite long ago. I know most don't even understand what that means. Redominating currency is one thing but management and economic prudence should match the redomination, I remembered Turkey did the same thing few years ago but the Lira performance has made the redomination a futile effort with the worst inflation rate in their history. |

Just pray God gives you good health and your kidney doesn’t fail that’s when you will know that NHS isn’t free and free death awaits you free of charge
Also what’s the point of the good roads when you can barely drive on them due to the numerous costs of driving in the uk (MOT, insurance , finance )
Some of you uk folks are living in a bubble and in the coming years we would always be here to remind you There you go again with your crass ignorance...MOT ensures your vehicle is road worthy and not a danger to others and yourself, if your vehicle fail MOT test it's automatically off the road for good, insurance ensures your ability to foot the bill if you causes damages to others property and human being. Financing ensures you can buy a vehicle without emptying your bank account to own one, it's a win win business, what is the essence of having a bank if you cannot do business or own something with their money but they can with yours? The interest is usually between 0.75% - 1.5%, it's not expensive. |

UK is 1000% better than Lagos and Nigeria in everything, your country should start with making good roads and social amenities before talking gibberish, below is the M6 motorway from Midland up to the Scottish border, well, Nigeria should attempt one from Lagos to Abuja to Sokoto before anyone can take her seriously.

rotecch77: I like the client decision. Bcs it’s not wise to waste money on something that doesn’t add value to things this days. As I said earlier the people in this location doesn’t value modern kitchen cabinet.( HDF board). What they like here is big space with moderate finishings.
We did same for the client formal house some years back and the block cabinet still remains intact till today. This discussion has stucked with me, now that I am at this stage I am thinking of implementing the same, I intended making provision for a built-in gas cooker but I am sceptical knowing Nigerians maintenance and usage attitude towards others property. So I may just provide a concrete kitchen cabinet with sanitary sink and cooking table for the tenant to bring their personal gas cooker. |

spyder880: Watson are good doors, although a lot of them are locally produced, but they are durable. I don't mind patronising local industrial product as long it meets the quality and durability for my purpose, I also like the fact it's a metal door the aesthetics mimics the classic wooden door. I also notice the average type seem cheaper than a Turkish model of equal quality, though I am not surprised since inflation in Turkey is EXTREMELY higher than Nigeria in production and materials. |
