I have PDP rallies very colourful and organised

I haven't seen or heard of a fight among groups over unsettled bills
Those group are local bodies benefiting from government policies at the grassroots level, I think their presence is to show appreciation for being carried along,........knowing Nigerians quest for monetary benefits some cultural groups could be promised some incentives tho but most of the groups are into electioneering activities.

Am sorry OP to derail ur post in any form,jus wanna enlighten some NLanders about FEB 14 election,if you don't have interest,u can easily scroll down and continue with the topic,thanks

In my own observations,I think 60% of nigeria citizens want GMB to be the PRES while 30% wants GEJ and the remaining 10% don't wanna vote for either.

When GEJ was sworn in as the president he said " I'll only rule for four years" now he's coming back. GMB had also ruled nigeria before now without achieving anything(in my own opinion). Think about it

Ask yourself this qstn " is it only APC and PDP that's contesting for presidency" NO,there are other parties,but I don't think we know them... Why don't we vote for those that haven't ruled before? Think about it

GEJ did it, he didn't succeed so as GMB and these two wants to rule again,nigerians let's think... Let's even talk about BH insurgency,don't they eat? Do they go into ammunition to get gun for their operations? NO. Think about it

I read one topic on FP that states" we saw helicopters dropping food into the bush where BH's are" who are those pilots and who instructed them to go and drop those items for the group disturbing the peace of our nation?
(Think about it)

Yesterday ISIS threatens to behead obama,isis is an islamist deadly group BH also are muslims(sighs) (think about it)

I weep for this nation

Lastly,have you ever sat down and think of this " why is it that all the muslims president we've had normally dies while ruling?" To me....

THEY WANTS TO TURN NIGERIA INTO AN ISLAMIC COUNTRY. Vote wisely no homo am clearly one those 10% that won't vote for either cause I think GEJ and GMB wanna ruin the affair of this nation

Think about it.
The helicopter dropping foods is still an unconfirmed report, I don't believe in hearsay......APC and PDP have more national acceptance than the others for now that is why I recognize the two.
PoliticsAPC Vs PDP Rallies: PDP Is More Organised + Its Grassroot Movement by omanzo02(op): 6:09pm On Jan 29, 2015
APC's supporters has been wondering why different identical groups always present at PDP's rallies....the answer is very simple.

The groups are one of PDP's electioneering movement most people fails to understand, they are the grassroots social-economic bodies spread over all length and breath of the country benefiting from government policies and programs, they have been carried along all these while and recognizes the difference PDP has made.......those are the real foot soldiers and grassroots campaigners who are winning elections for PDP(food for thought).

APC rallies are mostly disorganized and comprises of spectators who are out to have fun and catch a glimpse of the contestants and popular figure they hear about and 75% are actually not a fan or inclined to voting the party, their campaigners and foot soldiers only relies on damage strategy to win people over and that in reality yields slow results.

GenBuhari:
For all we know the enemy of Africa that is USA probably sent John Kerry to instruct GEJ have to prevent Buhari presidency probably by initially postponing elections.

Could it be that the NSA Sambo Dasuki (a former ADC in IBB's regime ) who is calling for postponement is working with IBB to stop Buhari.

Could it be that IBB's recent trip to Army headquarters is really to ensure that there are no surprises from the military should Nigerians be disenfranchised and Buhari denied an opportunity to get his mandate.

PDP do not want to hold the elections as they know that they would lose a free and fair elections.

They have prepared some ready-made excuses :

Election violence (which they can instigate)

Boko Haram (which is again assisting the PDP govt by intensifying attacks as elections approach- rememer Boko Haram'e role in ending fuel price protests in January 2012 when the started bombing the lingering protest venues in Kano until the protests were scattered)

Unavailability of PVC and general un-preparedness (again somthing they chose to allow; Even the electoral act 2014 that is supposed to be in place before every election has not been seen to take place for 2015 elections)

Ebola (which I have consistently said is a hoax will probably re-emerge on the eve of elections) to frighten Nigerians into accepting postponement.

We must not agree to postponement - it is as good as rigging.

If it is postponed then APC's threatened parallel govt should be installed.

Deltagiant:
Borno state rally is expected to attract a smaller crowd for obvious reasons. This is a war zone. People would be naturally afraid to attend any event that will attract crowd as such will be an invitation to suicide bombers. You wouldn't want to let your loved one go to such a place. Again, It was very clear looking at the pictures that there was a deliberate security precaution to distance the dignitaries from the crowd. The crowd were far removed and it became politically expediënt to take shots of the areas where the dignitaries were seated.
Borno is high risk, the security won't allow large crowd, everyone in that venue has been thoroughly screened, period

Dare to be a Nigerian

If you support PDP, you are paid to do so and apparently a thief;

But if you support APC, you are a patriot who is fighting for Nigeria.

If an APC governor award a km of road for N1.2billion, he is prudent and God sent;

If a PDP governor award same km of road for N500million, he is a thief.

If Fani Kayode joins PDP, he is bastard;

If Atiku joins APC, he is a democrat.

If Jonathan spends N7billion for his office par year, he is a criminal;

If Fashola spend same amount in a year, he is a saint.

If Akpabio approves N200Million as pension, he must be stoned;

If Fashola approved N300million for Tinubu he is a change agent.

If you cancelled toll gate as PDP government, you are an enemy of progress;

But if you build a road in Lagos, with tax payers money and toll the road, you are genius.

If you increase school feed as PDP government, you must be crucified;

If you do same as APC government, there must be a reason, cuz Education is not cheap anywhere in the world.

If you share Okada to the poor as PDP, you are poor peoples enemy;

If you ban Okada after election as an APC government, you are only helping the poor to stay alive, so you mean well.

If you single handedly make your daughter a market woman leader in APC state, it is for the progress of the people;

But if your wife is made a permanent secretary in your state by your state government of PDP, you are a greedy fellow.

If you spend N16billion on electricity without power and then support APC, you a navigator;

If you raise N500million through unbundling of same power, you are clueless.

If you fail to pay your workers for a month, but in APC, it is not your fault but someone up there;

But if you failed to pay your worker for a month and still in PDP, you are wicked human being.

If you force your family, in-law and girlfriends as senators and lawmakers on the rest of the party members, you a progressive leader;

But if you act like you don't care in PDP, you are dullard

If you tried to get a third term fraudulently by bribing the legislatures but failed, then support APC, you are democrat and the father of the nation;

If you try to get a constitutional second term in PDP, without their blessings, you an ingrate and silly.

In their time we had Halliburton scandal, ID card scandal, Siemens scandal, we have subsidy scam scandal, we have national stadium contract scandal, we have health budget financial scam, aviation sector scam, we had power sector scandal. How many people did he jail to prove he fought corruption? Rather EFCC was his big stick against his perceived enemies.

In their time we had a sitting governor kidnapped by a thug working for the president. We had a whole region of the country rigged in favor of his party. Morris Ibekwe, a wanted international fraud star won election under PDP.

Those who stole Nigerians blind under PDP; Atiku, Obasanjo, Baraje, Saraki, Wammako, Kwankwaso, Amaechi, Oyinlola, Segun Oni, Okorocha, Ngige, Adeleke, El Rufai, etc, are today the same people financing APC and calling for "CHANGE".

Flashback to 1999, who were these people? Billionaires ? They where nobody. Today, they spend billions and no one dare to ask a question. If you do you are enemy of progress.

They started with "New PDP" when that didn't fly, they joined a cult group called ACN to become APC. Same character with different name.

Sometimes it is better not to be a Nigerian than to be a confused and ignorant one.
Thumb up........fair analysis of dishonest bunch of people.

Despite APC winning some terrain PDP still remains the party to beat, they have the grassroots machinery and followership to convincingly win election...........the assumption that PDP is broken and fallen apart is still mighty enough to take APC to the cleaner.......one thing is obvious APC is underestimating their opponents and I am waiting to laugh at the surprise look on their face when results are announced......GEJ knows goodwill helped him in 2011 and is also aware strategies, deep electioneering and master strokes are his best bet this time around and don't think these people are sleeping.......this reminds me of almighty Beef against Gbawe, Alhaji Harem, Jarus and co online in 2011, the opposition haven't learned much as I can see, same old strategy.......February will surprise some people grin

WORD, In Nigeria of today, you cant fight corruption by jailing corrupt people without due process. When you arrest corrupt people and take them to court and the court discharges them, there is noting you can do except to appeal and reappeal. When that aspect is not working then you bring in technology to stop the avenues from which they steals money. An example of this is the e-Wallet scheme which now makes every farmer get what he/she deserved to get in terms of fertilizer and the rest, unlike before when fertilizers meant for farmers are diverted by one oga at the top and sold to his allies while he pockets the money.

Another example is the IPPIS payment scheme for civil servants that help stem the high tide of ghost workers in the civil service.

When GEJ tested the waters of fighting corruption by removing the fuel subsidy since Nigeria is losing a lot through that, some stupid Nigerians went on protest against the removal thereby supporting the corruption they so claim to hate. With that clear support Nigerians displayed for corruption, who would go on and fight those men.

Now when Farouk was caught on tape accepting bribe from otedola, the house sided with him and tagged it "witch hunting".

So the best way to curb corruption in Nigeria is not via direct approach but by introducing policies that will make it hard for these set of criminals to continue stealing and they knows GEJ has their antidote, thats why they have ganged up in several quarters. Come February we will tell them they can no longer take this country for a ride
It's obvious what this government is proposing will automatically eradicate virtually great bulk of corrupt practices.......the fertilizer frauds clean up was an eye opener for the government and they are eager to expand it to other ministries and institutions.........GEJ is obviously not interested is chasing shadows with that skewed constitution and anti corruption laws and no serious minded person would.

finally I've seen who thinks in my direction!! You can't fight corruption with a weak constitution and you can't make a better one with the type of senators we have in the house currently. You cannot jail me outside my constitution, u can't muscle pple to jail in dis current dispensation. EFCC has tried several times buh it did'nt work!! The only way is to prevent them from seeing the money. Improved technology as made known by Gej. If IBB declared himself a saint as concerns corruption, so wher does Buhari fall in the saintly picture... Pope maybe lipsrsealed
Exactly.

What baffles me is these same agent of change and change cravers who compares the little this government has done with the capacity Europe and America have build upon for years fail to realise the ideas GEJ is proposing is the foundation to an explosive development........This is democracy and GEJ alone can not unilaterally order changes to the constitution and those who are bent to keep the status quo will try to sabotage his efforts........I pity most Nigerians that wave off VERY RELEVANT AND FUTURE DIRECTION BASED QUESTIONS GEJ have asked in this campaign, a country with progressive and personal development minded citizens will make them a reference point for the elections.........Maybe because I live in advance democracy my mind and yearning is too advance to understand GEJ means well for Nigerians...........in my opinion majority so called educated Nigerians need brain transplant or logical thinking orientation courses.

For the first time in Nigeria's history a sitting president is proposing real institutional changes to set the country on the right path but it seems majority of the people don't have the average understanding of his plans, thanks to the misinformation and abuse of the populace knowledge by the past leaders and the agents who are now screaming change.
