Obiagelli: good job, will I vote him 2015? No, Why? A better leader built that Airport.
Why have your better leaders that had pocketed the maintenance fund did transform/rebuild it till now?
PoliticsRe: "Presidency's Vicious Exchange With Obasanjo Crosses Threshold Of Decency- APC by omanzo02: 8:25pm On Dec 26, 2013
Vicious exchange is good for democracy, come to Europe to with vicious exchanges between political parties, statemen and incumbent, only in Nigeria is vicious exchange a sign of disunity.

Olaolufred: I JUST REMEMBERED THAT WE USE TO CALL ANYONE WHO ACTS LIKE MUMU CHUKWUDI IN MY SECONDARY SCHOOL DAYS.

HAVING WORKED FOR TEN YEARS AFTER GRADUATION AS AN ENGINEER,

CHUKWUDI BROUGHT BACK THAT MEMORY VIA THIS POST.

YOU ARE TOOOOOOO DULLLLLLL.
An engineer who can not understand simple sentence is likewise dull, ain't it?.

dayokanu: Are you a SW christian or who gave you the right to speak for Yoruba xtians.

I am a Yoruba xtian

Watch how all Yoruba xtians troop out to vote for our son Fashola or any popular Yoruba politician on the APC ticket regardless of his religion

The Yoruba who had no problem voting majority Moslems as their governors, Yorubas Moslem in Osun had no problems voting a xtian-xtian ticket for Oyinlola-Obada

Yoruba whether xtian or Moslems dont care for religion what comes first is our culture and heritage
Quit being arrogant, experts who not even Nigerians analyse Nigeria's politics here in Europe because they have people on the ground that gathers the necessary informations they need, if papabrown did a good survey what he is telling u could be as close as right.
PoliticsRe: A Thread For Christian Northerners For GEJ 2015 by omanzo02: 7:45pm On Dec 26, 2013
dayokanu: In 1993, MKO was paired with Baba gana Kingibe on a Moslem-Moslem ticket.

The opposition flooded the SW with rumours that MKO sunk a shipload of bibles

Guess what? MKO still got over 70% votes in all SW states

Once he spoke in Yoruba to us, we immediately identified with him and voted en masse for our son
Remember Buhari or Tambuwal or the Hausa/fulani candidate on top fashola will speak during campaign, is he not going to be interpreted?.

luvmijeje: Op well done. I don't have any question but I do have suggestions.

Anytime time I heard Jonathan speak, I always wonder how he become a Governor talkless of a President . I'm tired of Jonathan. I'm tired of how he foolishly run this country . That's why I'm hoping APC will get it right with it's choice of flag bearer . I don't mind Buhari/Fashola ticket but if it's not Possible, those that'll be choosen should have excellently performed at the lowest level of government .

I'm definitely not voting Jonathan but so far I've not be impress by APC. They now have majority in the house, so they should start putting money where their mouth is by first showing off and doing the right thing With the Budget .

APC should ensure that their i's and t's are well dotted and crossed. Nigerians are watching.
Have u heard yourself speak, GEJ may not be an orator but one thing I know for sure is our different ethnic dialect affects our English pronunciations and I don't expect him to copy an American dialect.

jmaine: I brought up the Mimiko angle to quash your theory which said the SW were herded to vote the ACN solely because of Tinubu. If ACN came a distant third in Ondo despite Tinubu vigorous campaign of calumny against Mimiko; then Tinubu over estimated worth just got binned with that fact..

Aregbesola has a strong base in Osun, and his win is assured, just like it happened in Ondo, Edo and Anambra.

You need to know various dynamics control local and National politics. You are not currently in the SW like us so you can't place a value or predict the SW disposition towards GEJ.

As it was in 2011, GEJ might just hold his ground here in 2015. Though it might not be in overwhelming style like 2011.
The bolded is a normal dynamics worldwide with incumbent by re-election.

PoliticsRe: The Political Gladiators Are Angry With GEJ, Then He's Doing Something Right. by omanzo02(op): 11:27am On Dec 25, 2013
Pedro JP: These are not formerly known oppositions attacking him(GEJ) right now. I think he has stepped on their toes. I guess these all boil down to dat subsidy removal, d economy idrainers are running short of cash with that policy and can't wait any longer hence, their attack. I believe GEJ is really fighting corruption without consideration and quite "unfortunate" he has touched his own cartel. Yar'dua was equally moving in this direction b4 his death, guess Oga Jona wants to move in dat path. I think i concur with the OP's title.

Mind you, Asari is not the first to make such statement which is yet to be fulfilled. How about those who promised an ungovernable Nigeria on certain circumstances after the last election and saw to its fulfillment ?
This is the most criticised government in history, from every nook and corner then definitely something positive we don't know is gradually happening, some toes are being.stepped on.
PoliticsRe: The Political Gladiators Are Angry With GEJ, Then He's Doing Something Right. by omanzo02(op): 11:31pm On Dec 24, 2013
tonytony208: If you ask me, i will say GEJ has made some wrong calls that make his defence somewhat porous against opposition.
1. Handling of the oduah's case.
2. I dont think he can ever convince anyone that he has no hand in the Rivers State issues; neither can his wife.
3. Purchasing 34 million naira worth of animals at a time like this;thereby giving opposition something more to hold onto.
4. His paley with Asari Dokubo despite the later's recent unguaded utterances.

But be that as it may, i am enjoying somewhat steady power supply in my area at ilorin; at least 10 hrs per day. Thanks to GEJ and his PHCN privatization.
He may not have handled some situations well but he is in the right direction.
PoliticsRe: Federal Government Agency Buys 10 Bullet Proof Cars by omanzo02: 10:37pm On Dec 24, 2013
eGuerrilla: I agree. It is difficult to see how the importation of bulletproof cars can possibly be reconciled with DICON's mission statement which reads as follows: "To Operate the ordnance factories for the manufacture and supply of arms and ammunition as well as inspecting, testing and recommending ordnance materiel intended for use by the Armed Forces and other security organizations while using the excess capacity to support the development of local Industries."

Source
So if DICON import bulletproof cars is fraud?, would u care to tell us who should import bulletproof cars for government use?.

First tell us what the 2 billions is meant for before we can access your complain.

El rufai and fashakin are worse, a fashakin that could not explain his argument on channels tv?, u need to see how the moderators dismissed him like unserious child, El Rufai is known nationwide as an empty bell, name someone else if we are to take u seriously.

PoliticsRe: President Goodluck Jonathan's Reply To Obasanjo's Letter by omanzo02: 11:20pm On Dec 22, 2013
mojeer678: It's indeed worrisome that Abati who presumably penned this epistolary effort wouldn't know the basic principle of the hole; that if you find yourself in one, you stop digging.

OBJ has cunningly drawn GEJ into the morass of dirty politicking which the latter and his cabinet, kitchen and otherwise, have no clue as to the endgame.

That OBJ is a cunning fox needs no repeating but this purported response by GEJ has done more harm than good to GEJ. Abati, Okupe, Maku and others involved in handling GEJ's press, media and official communications should be sacked immediately for unprofessional conduct and not protecting their principal from the obvious trap set up for him. And they walked straight into that trap. Do, you're damned, Don't you're equally damned.

A more appropriate tactic would have been that of the COZA pastor who is still preparing 'a robust response' to the sexual allegations made by a female member in his church.

Was the letter-writer thinking that we all suffer from a mass-amnesia concerning the deeds of diamond deziani, oduah-gate and the tompolo-nimasa imbroglio when he attempted to paint this administration as the most upright since independence?

The folly of comparing OBJ's administration with its shortcomings could have arisen only from an inebriated thinking. The new lows that these individuals are taking the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is unfortunate, very unfortunate.
It called transparency, when accusations are made u respond to clear the air, it's the new world order politics.
PoliticsRe: President Goodluck Jonathan's Reply To Obasanjo's Letter by omanzo02: 11:07pm On Dec 22, 2013
krafty iyk: if i were President Goodluck, i wont reply to that letter, silence they say is golden., by replying this letter, he has giving OBJ the attention he was gingering for, we all know that letter is a prelude to an impending doom, we are all awaiting the actual hidden agenda behind OBJ's letter come 2014/2015, Nigerians are not fools, i said it before n i'll say it again, if OBJ and his acolytes have got the magic wand to fix Nigeria, why didn't he use it in his last 3 tenure as a president? he's the last person that should be listened to/replied if anyone was to advice on credible leadership....at his football/political age, he's already too old even to stay in an old people's home,
the old man should go climb into his coffin, and await his last day...enough of this old school oligarchs in Nigerian politics.
He gave reasons for replying OBJ for future reference.
PoliticsRe: Mass Defection To Hit PDP Again by omanzo02: 11:28am On Dec 22, 2013
Pukkah: We are watching. May God keep us.

But don't forget that the younger generation is yet to show promise.

Like someone said, they cherish their Android phones and hip hop music than an active participation in politics.

The divisive tendencies of tribe and religion, which have become more pronounced under Jonathan, are also major constraints.
Divisive and tribal politics can not be rule out of Nigeria and also advantageous if u are seeking true federalism or fiscal autonomy. The conqueror posture of the bigger tribes is the escalating factors, I now live in a country where such politics is the order of the day, it is no longer worrisome.

U are the real moro.n here, Airbus are identified with their model, passenger/load and range capacity, when u see A300-280, it means A300 model in design, seating/load capacity and range, 280 series were only made on request just like the 100 series. I have visited airbus factories several times and know what I am talking about.

ola_pluto: I left Nigeria 8 years ago and only visit for maximum of 3 weeks in between. Now I have stayed 3 months straight in Nigeria, and THINGS ARE REALLY BAD. Things have gone from bad to worst!
1. NTA is now PDP's broadcasting outfit. The one hour news is 90% PDP and 10% of unseen transformation agenda.
2. Power supply is terrible. Its never been this bad in the history of Nigeria. In Ibadan, its an average of 10 minutes a day for the lucky ones. Some have up to 8 hours out of 24 on the best days. Today, in my house, no light since morning! Its 10.01pm, and we're still on gen.
3. SureP is fraud! My sister (a nurse) had to resign from that SUREP because they are not being paid at the primary health centre funded by SURE P.
4. Food is very expensive in the market! Where is the transformation agenda on agriculture?
5. I have visited almost a third of Nigeria since I came home. Things are not better in those states either. You can drive through Ibadan tonight and all you see is generator everywhere! The governor is doing well, but its so glaring the lapses of the federal government.
6. Corruption is the only achievement of this government. Till date, NO politician has been convicted of corruption. Rather, it is committees upon committee, and no implementation of the recommendations. Tafa Balogun would have loved this GEJ administration.
How people can ask for another 4 years of this pain, suffering and anguish is beyond me.
7. Fuel subsidy thieves still have access to our wealth. In fact, GEJ has invited more seasoned thieves like Tony Anenih to help him get re-elected with NPA funds.
8. Dont let me get started on our airports. You can put lipstick on a pig, it is still a pig!
9. You even dare mention Boko Haram as an achievement. You just exposed GEJ as failing in his number 1 priority to secure the lives and properties of Nigerians. Truth be told, GEJ is not capable of quenching boko haram!
IF u left Nigeria 8 years ago was GEJ ruling 8 years ago?, what country are u and how long does infrastructure or installation/ construction last where u are?, how long does bureaucratic procedures takes?.............Be realistic in your answers because u are not the only one living abroad.
