So Obanikoro, FFK, Dasuki etc are igbos too Abihuh
Yes of course- including all the ex governors of northern extraction standing trial.

Once a man is accused of corruption in Nigeria today, you see them rush to such a person's defence like programmed robots.

Their knack for seeing everything through tribal lenses is what criminals like Ekweremadu took advantage of when he wore that Igbo masquerade attire to court- something he's never done before.

Cant they see how they are being used?? Gosh!!

HungerBAD:
Nigeria is working.

To those writing below me,I pray God opens your eyes to see that the fight against corruption is above petty tribal sentiments.

A crime has been committed,so because the Company is owned by an Igbo man,we should turn our faces to the other side?because the Igbos are special and above the law?we should rise above this petty tribal coloration.

The sad thing about cases like this,is that those committing these crimes, are low staff members of the company who wants to make a killing, and so forges documents without the company even being aware of these fraudulent acts.

Back to the Tribal writers below me.

The Police that charged the Company is an Igbo man,and most importantly one of the Lawyers defending the Company is a Yoruba Man. Learn a thing or two from this.

Somebody smart down there wrote, and I quote "This happened in 2013" So for the fact the matter has been dragging on for 3 years, the Buhari Government should let it slide because an Igbo man is involved?people with myopic thinking sef.

The fight against corruption in Buhari's Government,is a fight that must be won,no matter whose ox is gored.
Bro, it is a pathetic situation honestly. I've never seen nonsense like this my entire life. Even when Linda was queried by the Lagos state government over offences related to tax evasion, the minibots who view just about everything in their miserable lives from a tribal periscope said the lagos state government is out to kill her business because she is Igbo!!

Can you believe that? How exactly would it benefit the people of lagos state or her government if they killed her business- would that enhance their revenue base through taxation or deplete it??

When these people speak, you see foolishness radiate in all its glory.

Victim mentality is a show of inferiority complex, hence sign of weakness.
I will keep saying this, these people have had their heads screwed beyond redemption. They can NEVER be fixed.

Just yesterday, we read news about government facilitating a $1billion Chinese deal with the company, no iPod lout spoke about the government being "out to kill igbo businesses", today the same company is accused of using fake documents o secure a bank facility, an offence punishable under the law, but suddenly the government is "out to kill igbo business".

These guys imagine being "igbo" should make you "immune" to being tried for offences committed. These are shareholders funds they obtained under allegedly false pretence- do these kids even take that into consideration?? Also, what manner of idiotic defence would it be standing before a judge and stating "they are doing this because we are igbo"??

Never seen this level of stupidity my whole life.

Politics › Re: Tunde Bakare attacks Buhari over failed economic policies by omenka(m): 10:22am On Oct 24, 2016
He recalled that price of oil peaked at $145 per barrel around 2008 and, after a brief fall, rose and, subsequently, hovered around $100 until December 2014, when it began to crash.

But, the biggest oil boom experience, he said, fell into the hands of an unprepared leadership. “Hence, with our revenue unaccounted for in the
preceding boom era, and with reported massive
looting through oil subsidies and diverted
defence budgets, the present government
inherited a Nigerian economy in dire straits
Before the Wailing Cankerworms adopt Bakare as their next "Helo", they should read the lines in bold and cc their Ineffectual Ogogoro Buffoon. smiley

It just irritates my bowels whenever I see NJC crap everywhere. Since when did NJC become a "court" in this land, and why have some people become such die hard proponents of this body??

Were these not these same people excited about the reluctance of President Jonathan to reinstate Justice Ayo Isa Salami as the president of Court of Appeal when he was cleared of any wrongdoing and recommended by the NJC to be reinstated??

Imagine their comments back then when the gentleman became frustrated he had to tender his letter of intent to resign after two years of innaction by the then president Goodluck Jonathan:

GEJTILL2019:
The fear of GEJ is the beginning of wisdom. :PThe fear of GEJ is the beginning of wisdom.
Longeria:
Winner ooooo Winner, winner ooooo winner, Jonathan you don win Salami winner, Jonathan you go win Amaechi ooooo winner. Allelu, Alleluya. Praise God.
... and a whole lot of such other comments. To make matters even worse, he was suspended for blowing the whistle on Justice Katsina-Alu, the then CJN and these guys saw absolutely nothing wrong with it since we were in the era when corruption was the Lingua franca in our society. Today, NJC has suddenly become Bae (apologies to Modath).

What a laughable bunch.

Are they immune to investigation/prosecution by regular law enforcement agentshuh

Good evening all my Progressive comrades. Its a pleasure to see yall been holding it down real good around here.

A lot of us thought I had thrown in the towel, not at all- was sent to Kuje by some mod who felt offended when I struck back at some headless cockroach for daring to crawl over my face. Regardless, I took it in good faith and did my time diligently, now I know better.

From the depths of my heart, I thank you all for remaining steadfast in the face of undue vicious attacks from the Enemies Within who would stop at nothing to burn down this country and overtly celebrate every single misfortune she suffers. In no small measure, I thank Modath, Sarrki, QuotaSystem, Clerverly, Fulanimafia, Aresa, GenBuhari, Fizznation, Abagworo, BiafraudExposed and the rest of the war tested innumerable soldiers who've been holding fort around here- I have a very strong conviction your patriotism shall not be in vain. Keep the guns blazing brothers. smiley

And to the perpetually sore losers cum iPod Scumscrubbing Cankerworm Tanoids, I honestly thank you all for keeping my mentions very active while I was away for two months- about 600 mentions in total!! Goes a long way to show how very busy I kept you people even without saying a word! How much more now that I'm back??

Just so whoever is interested knows, you may call me whatever name you chose, but my Loyalty to Nigeria and belief in her president remains as UNSHAKEABLE as it was back in 2003!! It would do those who keep imagining the opposite a lot of good to simply bury that idea- it will never happen!

Steadily but surely, Nigeria will live to attain her full potential in the nearest future with the course charted by our able president Mohammadu Buhari (GCFR).

I remain a patriotic Nigerian.

God bless all genuine citizens of Nigeria.

God bless our president.

God bless Jagaban.

God bless Nairaland Progressives.

And God bless Nairaland and her Creator.

I am not interested in your Jonathan vs Buhari political banter.

As you threatened in your initial post, tell those creeks rats that the NA would be gladly expecting a retaliatory attack from them.
All they do is sit behind some keypad and type nonsense with their scruffy fingers. If they feel so bad criminals were killed and arrested and their arms confiscated, let them go into the creeks and confront the army themselves.

So because one by accident of nature, lives in a place that happens to supply revenue for government, they have the right to do as they please without question!

These guys disgust me.

Let them launch the damn reprisals already. We've seen what happened in the NE, the creeks won't be any different.
