Still playing the opposition while in power as Nigeria continue to burn to the ground?

You guys and your followers are suffering from the poor man's syndrome - When a poor fellow stumbles upon a wealth or status he can ever imagine ,there is this tendency that he would still remain psychologically poor. This is the APC's problem.

Wake up bro - Nigeria is on the brink.
Ok bro. Thanks. Any other info you'd like to share?? cheesy

Shameful. Dunno why Nigerians are so careless with details. This shows our level of seriousness in this country. It's not a political party thing, just a few days ago, the ministerial list that was submitted by the Presidency to the Senate had the word 'ministerial' wrongly spelt. Little mistakes like these matter.
Baba, bone mata, na PDP thing. grin

If you stretch your imagination a little further, you can guess who the actual sponsors of the protests for Madueke and Saraki were- remember the gbagauns on those banners and placards the protesters carried. grin

Politics › Peoples Democratic Party Changes Name?? by omenka(op):
It is the season of extreme scrutiny and very little go unnoticed these days.

Was "scrutinising" pictures of the first executive council meeting of PDP since her shameful defeat at the polls when something caught my eyes- it was right there on the banner hanging on the wall upon which was written Peoples Democracy Party.

Besides making them so broke, which was evident in the fact that they couldn't pay workers and contractors their outstanding wages and the use of such shoddy banner for such an important occasion and the general outlook of Wadata Plaza, it appears the defeat also affected the opposition mentally so much so that they can't seem to remember the name of their party anymore.

Remember when they made so much mockery of the then presidential flag bearer of APC, now our amiable president, over an alleged gaffe on the name of his party, well, now, it is time for them to swallow their own pill!! Remember what they say about Karma.

Ladies and Gentlemen, let's hear it for the Newest Political Party in Nigeria- the Peoples Democracy Party.

Shame on all of us.
Politics › Re: How NTA And AIT Maltreated Buhari During The 2015 Presidential Campaigns— Shehu by omenka(m):
AIT's was just simply atrocious. There was this ad they ran for PDP that made my guts twist and turn in disgust. Still have that in my phone.

They throw virtually every disgusting lie at the gentleman but at some point, their constant barrage of attacks on the person of the General made Nigerians all the more resolute to give him their mandate. In the end, their propaganda blew in their faces.

They made Channels become the favourite station of most Nigerians- even Nigerians overseas who wanted to keep track of events real time did so through Channels.

God definitely had a hand in what transpired in the last election- it is virtually impossible for one to survive such odds on their own.

Politics › Re: Goodbye Nigeria, Welcome Oduduwa Republic, By Femi Fani-kayode by omenka(m):
Indeed.
SeverusSnape:
Call him whatever you want, but this guy always makes a whole lot of sense in his articles.
Indeed, he does.

Jonathan Leaving a Legacy of Destruction and Disaster- FFK.

The former minister questioned the competence of President Goodluck
Jonathan.

A former Aviation Minister, Femi
Fani-Kayode, said President Goodluck Jonathan by his misrule is leaving a legacy of “destruction and disaster” in Nigeria.

Speaking at a book launch in Lagos
on Wednesday, Mr. Fani-Kayode, in a speech titled ”A Date with Destiny,”
said the administration of Mr.
Jonathan has plunged the country into financial recklessness, bloodbath (apart from during the civil war) and total misrule never before
experienced in the country.

On the planned amnesty for the violent insurgent group, Boko Haram, the former minister said it is an “inglorious
endeavour” and an “exercise in
futility” that will “set a dangerous precedent.”

“4, 400 precious souls cut short and
slaughtered like chicken by Boko Haram in the last two years. How can
our government sleep well at night
with all that innocent blood that has flowed whilst they are at the helm of
affairs of our nation?” the former
minister said.

“More innocent souls have been
killed in the last 2 years
by terrorists than at any other time in
the history of Nigeria outside the civil war. How does President
Jonathan and his”today’s men” feel
about winning such a dubious and dishonourable title?

Does he still regard Boko Haram as “his siblings” who he “cannot hurt”?

“Why did the President refuse to visit
the good people of the northeast for so long despite the fact that hundreds of
people are still being slaughtered
there by Boko Haram every day?” he added.

He said the government has proved it does not “give a damn” to the suffering of the people and the loss of lives by not visiting the troubled region
until politicians from the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) did; and
the president’s lukewarm and
delayed response to the recent massacre of 185 people in Baga.

“He did not visit the place until the APC governors took the initiative, did the right thing, went there boldly and paved the way? It was only after that initiative was taken
by the opposition that our President
woke up from his deep slumber, remembered that he was the Commander in Chief of our Armed Forces and saw fit to go to the
north-east. Why did he take so long
before doing so?”

“Does the fact that it took our
Government two days to
even acknowledge that the Baga
massacres ever took place and that when they finally did all they said was that they would ”investigate it” not seem rather insensitive?

Politics › Re: Goodbye Nigeria, Welcome Oduduwa Republic, By Femi Fani-kayode by omenka(m):
Useless noisemaker as usual.

I have had enough. I say goodbye Nigeria: give us Oduduwa or let us die
In one breath this junkie said he has had enough and he is saying "goodbye to Nigeria", and in another he says "give us Oduduwa Republic or let us die".

Mr Ediot, if you are tired, leave and never come back, and if you want to die, go ahead and kill yourself. There is no us in your trash. I haven't seen ANY Yoruba man saying they desire to "die" for Oduduwa Republic.

You are simply tired of staying out of government and desperately want in, that is why you keep churning out these inciting articles weekly, with the hope you'd get "invited" to Aso Rock someday soon, to go see "our president", the "father of all Nigerians". You think we've forgotten all thathuh

You aren't the "spokesman" for ANY group of Yoruba people and your opinion sure doesn't count in the larger scheme of things.

Keep yelping like the rabid Chuwawa you are, with a little luck perhaps, the police would sneeze in your direction.

Edit:

This wa even written in May 2014 just after his highly publicised visit to Aso Rock in April where he emerged to say "Jonathan and his men are wonderful people."

He ramped up his scathing criticism a notch with this idiotic article after the visit and the then cowardly president decided to finally shut him up by giving him a spot at Aso Rock dinner table.

What a waste of breeding space.

And what does the op plan to achieve by bringing this up nowhuh

Politics › Re: APC Inciting Violence In Kogi, Bayelsa To Disrupt Polls – PDP by omenka(m): 8:51am On Oct 15, 2015
They've started again with their nonsense. Same tactics of tacitly instigating violence they adopted in the run up to 2015 general election which saw them fail woefully is what they've insisted on using again. Then when they lose, again, they'd blame everyone but themselves for their failure.

Tell the people what you've achieved in those states and why there is a need for your retention and let the people decide if you merit a renewal of your mandate or not.

Dickson has busied himself trying to milk Alam's death to the ends of the earth, blaming APC, and this useless Abuja goombah is talking trash about APC.

Nothing, just NOTHING good, can come out of Metuh or FFK's head.

This is the opinion of men who's opinions are sought after even by foreign investors, and not some ministerial aide job seeking barrel-head whose opinion finds substance only amongst his nairaland band of ignorant cheerleaders.

Buhari would drive the final nail into the coffin of the Killer Party through an unparralled performance in the next couple of years. I just can't wait honestly.

The kind of bile these guys carry in their stomach is enough to make a hyena's gut green with envy.

Fayose would spend the rest of his tenure pretending to "love the people" which the state decay away right under the people's watch.

More than EVER, Nigerians are interested in how they are governed and by whom- this can only put pressure on our leaders to do what is right and deliver on their promises and pledges.

I envy the Lagosians.

And big thanks to Seun Osewa for giving us this platform to make our voices heard.

I know some people are sorely pained and disappointed over the sterling performance of most of the nominees in the screening, and have been waiting for the slightest slip-up to sink their fangs into and create countless number of "analytical" threads on- they will continue to be disappointed for the next four years.
