Savinggracereporters ![]() I'd rather pass. Edit: With, www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/191420-okonjo-iweala-backs-buhari-on-corruption-war-says-president-leading-by-example.html , I think it is safe to comment. Frankly, what more is there to say?? This woman who was referred to as the de-facto president/ prime minister in the last admin has come out to "condemn" and "distance" herself from the rot that was Jonathan's admin while eulogising President Buhari's efforts at eradicating this monstrous malaise which was in retrospect worshipped, pampered, condoned and encouraged. I fail time and time again I trying to rationalise some of Jonathan's pronouncements regarding corruption, like his goatandyamtheory, "stealing is not corruption", "corruption is exaggerated", "how much did Jim Nwobodo stole (sic)", and his knack for granting state pardon to the biggest criminals in the land. He even came out at some point to shamelessly admit he's scared of exposing corrupt individuals www.nairaland.com/1444394/president-jonathan-shamelessly-admits-hes . We are yet to hear the last of these recent revelations from his closest allies whom to me partook either covertly or overtly in ruining this nation especially in the last 5years. First it was Edwin Clerk, then Stella Uduah and now the Big Fish, NOI- the same woman that used her propaganda NOIpoll to churn out fictitious figures and indices regarding the strength of our economy- she never saw anything wrong!! Now she wants us to believe "it was a mistake she made taking up the job of Finance Minister under Jonathan". What a shameless bunch of people. Whatever it is, whether they throw Jonathan under the bus or under the tires of a Boeing 747 jet, they are not gonna be spared the hammer if found guilty by any competent court. |
theV0ice:In Chief Wailer's voice: "The Senate just failed the integrity test." Lmao. ![]() |
NgeneUkwenu:Kai oooo!! This woman!! You go sabi find trouble ehn!! Rotflmao!! ![]() |
How was he dressed Mr Okupe?? |
Truckpusher:You guys should please stop all these. If only you know what this man did to Benue state, honestly, you'd wanna see him hanged without a court trial. The man turned the state into his and his brothers' estate. Imagine selling the state govt's shares in a cement company worth billions, using same to build the biggest hotel in the state for himself, selling the hotel to the state government and then leasing same out for 100years again!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() You guys have no idea who that guy is. Dude spent 8years planting grasses in the middle of the road!!! |
theV0ice:Ebonyi state governor is a Fulani man disguising as an Igbo man!! ![]() |
modath:My dear, just about every single thing that party and her supporters do is devoid of logic and reason. It is so difficult rationalising their actions. @Egift: just saw your mentions, been so damn busy today boss- will respond when I can. But in the mean time, we all know who that man is- a vagabond with a big mouth. Who takes such a person seriously ![]() |
PassingShot:Oh, we really broke balls those days. ![]() |
tomakint:Exactly what I imagine, but at a very huge cost. It will take some time given that the biggest power houses in the region, UAE/Saudi Arabia, Qatar, are close allies of the US. Iran as well seems to be warming up to the US given the Nuclear Deal recently signed by both parties. I think the member states of the region might consider Russia a more helpful ally especially with respect to dealing with the ever growing trend of radical Islamic terrorism in the region. US has a terrible reputation for training and arming radical groups and rebels all in a bid to upstage governments that refuse to be their puppets and that has created the mess we see in the region. Still waiting to see the Chinese make their move. Time will tell. |
PhockPhockMan:And how do you know the comments are from "Americans" You see why I insist you are an illiterate?? America and Russia are no doubt currently in a proxy war and inching ever closer to an open confrontation everyday the Syrian war drags on. Just as it did in Ukraine, Russia seeks to consolidate her "presence" in the world stage by the statement they are making in Syria showcasing some of their most advanced armaments, some of which I believe Uncle Sam had no idea existed, especially their Radio equipment designed to intercept and disrupt radio and radar signals . At the moment, I guess no one can really place a definitive bet on what Putin's end game is, but whatever it is, it is gonna ultimately decide the trajectory of events in post war Syria and a large part of Middest. |
God, this is shameful. |
I read through the whole article and couldn't find anywhere Buhari was quoted to have said the words as captioned in the title of the article, and this is coming from one Obinna and VANGUARD. People make statements that are capable of generating very bad blood without sparring a thought to the implications of those statements. Should the legal hammer come down on this guy, these people that are cursing the president and praising the writer, instead of criticising him for this blatant lie, would be the ones to scream "the president is INTOLLERANT of the press" and turn it into another "President Buhari's war on Igbos". Smh. |
ECOTERRORS:Errrrm, ok. Just like your siggy, "it's time (for me) to move on". Toodles. |
ECOTERRORS:Lmao. Why I like her- she never disappoints! Wild as f**k! Always ANGRY. . Come here you nasty little gurl, come give big poppa a hug.... From your logic, I guess Wole Soyinka and Aniko Briggs are Niger Delta Militants. See how anger makes you dull?? ![]() As for faking an assassination, dat one pass my power my love. Your own matta no be here sam sam. Edit: She even said "spokesman" and not negotiator. Na wa oo babe. ![]() |
All rise and welcome Ecoterrors, the Number 1 troll on the forum. I know I'd be the first person she picks on. B***h hates me as though I f***ked her for free. ![]() Na joke oo. |
OrlandoOwoh:Imagine Azazi had mentioned APC in that statement, the Cankerworms would have said APC murdered him. |
Ezenwammadu:Oh please.. Don't be such a hypocrite. What statement could be more sympathetic than saying the Army cannot be sent to wipe out BH because "they are our siblings"?? That statement was made by Mr Ebele Jonathan himself. And how much more political points can one attempt to make from BH than attributing a bombing to APC just a few minutes after the incident?? That was from Olisa first time Nyanya was bombed. |
himkers:As in ehn!! Was looking forward to seeing one Hot Rod, say a '50s Impala, only to see a 404. Mstcheeew. |
Agencies like EFCC in NigeriaIndeed, but the problem is the politicians have not only succeeded in screwing the anti-corruption agencies, they've also bastardised the psyche of the average Nigerian to such extent the man on the street who bears the brunt of the evil deeds of these politicians are the ones that form the first line of defence whenever the slightest move is made against them (the politicians). Some even die in the process!! The agencies were comatose in the last admin but seem to have found a new lease of life under the current dispensation- and for that reason, just like I said above, the word "witch -hunting" has now become staple in our lexicon! One thing I'd NEVER do is support a politician accused of looting the treasury, and fanatical as this might sound, frankly, I think Buhari is the only clean man out there. I just don't understand the rationale behind ordinary citizens taking sides with their oppressors when they should scream for joy at the breaking of such news as the arrest of a one time untouchable politician. Amaechi once said they do what they do with impunity because they don't get stoned by the people- how revealing!! Whatever it is, it is my sincere hope Buhari would be unfazed by the noise from certain quarters about victimisation and witch hunt. The current momentum must be sustained and as a matter of fact increased if we are to achieve anything better than what Obj, Yaradua and Jonathan achieved in this regard. Cc: Chubhie. |
Former governor of Rivers State and ministerial nominee, Rotimi Amaechi, last Tuesday night visited Senate President Bukola Saraki where he begged the latter to help clear him ahead of the ministerial screening which starts next week Tuesday. This has got to be the height of junk journalism. Totally speculative, not even an "unnamed source" was quoted to have said this was the purpose of the "visit". |
989900:It is there- number 4. These guys are jokers, imagine the trash. And to make matters worse, the tone of the writer seems sympathetic rather than critical. ![]() |
funkiebully:Op if you modify your title and tone down your language in the opening post, perhaps we can have this on the fp. This is too damn hilarious and shouldn't be enjoyed by only those who visit the politics board. ![]() Mehn, Iara try sha. . Lmao. ![]() |
Op, you need Jesus in your life. Wtf!!! Hahahahahahahaha!! Rotflmao. ![]() Oshio Baba killed it, damn!! ![]() Lalasticlala, this wouldn't be bad for front page oo.. Let's have some laughter at our leaders' expense. But if them catch you, I nor dey oo. ![]() |
theV0ice:My brother!!! The thing over tire me oo!! This goes to confirm what a terrible bunch of mediocres Jonathan and his pets are and would always be. Since when have being an election "observer" become such big deal so much so that phockphuckman (or whatever idiotic moniker he has) had to state "omenka et al won't be happy at this great news" Should Obj see their comments, he might have cardiac arrest from laughter.Things like these are the reason I shudder in fear whenever I imagine what we would have been subjected to had the GSM revolution happened under Jonathan's watch! Hell these guys would have literally denied us usage of our phones and "tranformation band widths". Smh. |
This has gotta be one of the greatest insult on Nigerians ever! How foolish do these guys actually think Nigerians are?? How in seven hells would they try to justify their gargantuan pay by doing a simple comparism with what their counterparts in other countries take, countries that are light years ahead of us in terms of development. Now, for those of us that refuse to be deceived by this shameful "disclosure", here's what we demand they do if truly they want us to see what "peanuts" they earn: 1. What is the percentage of their total expenditure to our GDP and what is that of their counterparts in the countries stated?? 2. What is the per capita income of those countries as compared to Nigeria's?? Is their pay justifiable on this basis?? 3. What is the percentage of their take home to our GNP in comparism to that of their counterparts in the countries listed?? 4. What is the percentage of their annual take home to the annual take home of a minimum wage earner, and how does that compare with those of their counterparts in the countries quoted?? 5. What is the actual man hours contributed by the congressmen in a legislative calender compared to that of our "honourables"?? Is the pay of our legislators justifiable on the backdrop of their productivity?? It is only when these figures are presented and analysed that one could be better informed as to the propriety or otherwise of the size of their income. |
PhockPhockMan:Says the renown illiterate... How the heck is this good news to me when I didn't see it as such when Obj did it several times in the past?? This is another instance of you nutcases showcasing your mediocrity. Oga, it is friday night. You should go out and have some little fun. After all the hatred throughout the week, it is only normal one took some time out to let off steam, but being the deadbeat whose life depends on Nairaland, you still had to hang in here and show the world what a miserable slouth you are. Odefolio jatijati. You lot should go get some girlfriend and act like normal men for a change. |
And who made this blabbermouth cvnt the spokesman for Yorubas?? Mr Fanny Fvcktard Kayode, if the Yorubas wanna make a statement, they know whom to do so through and that person is certainly not some brainless junkie like you who does nothing but churn out one hate article after another. Pains me deeply mainstream media gives this fool such coverage when there are better people out there across the country who should be paid attention to. |
stanech:Very wide I tell you. |
ECOTERRORS:Not in the mood for your trash madam. Just misplaced 55K few mins ago. |
Sanchez01:Epic!! ![]() |
LordMecuzy:What makes you think the candidate wouldn't be a woman?? ![]() |
