Nigerian human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore has been shot by a police officer in Abuja.
In a post sighted on his Twitter page, he revealed that he had just been shot at the Unity Fountain in Abuja after he gathered with others at the Unity Fountain for a protest. He did not disclose many details about his present condition and his current location after he was shot.

The former governor Ayo Fayose tired of all the insecurity in the country and the killing of people blamed president Buhari for being the cause of all that and being the Jonah in the boat of Nigerians causing problems for them.

A 19-year-old boy, who lives at Kasoa Iron City in the Central Region is on the verge of losing his finger or life for wearing a ring made for spiritual purposes belonging to his friend.

Narrating the incident on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, Rainbow Radio’s Nana Yaw Asare said the young man stole the ring from another friend.

But unknown to him [the victim], the ring was for spiritual purposes and should not come into contact with water.

All efforts to remove the ring have proved futile as half of the ring has been cut off with the remaining half remained stuck on the forefinger of the victim.

When contacted, the owner of the ring said he went for the ring from a spiritualist and was told not to allow water to touch the ring since it could come with consequences.

He disclosed that the only way the ring could be removed is for a baby to be sacrificed.

Some pastors and other spiritualists have attempted to remove the ring but failed.

Residents of Nenohwe Village in Zimbabwe have reportedly been left in shock after a woman was caught at her friend’s house breastfeeding a giant snake.

The Manica Post reported that Gogo Nenohwe was spotted by a 12-year-old girl as she breastfed the snake while uttering names of fellow villagers whom she wanted her pet to deal with.

According to report, a 38-year-old woman, Ruka Tayo and her friend, Jimoh Abiola, 35, were arraigned before an Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court on Friday, March 12, for beating up her former husband’s new wife.

Tayo and her co-defendant allegedly beat up the complainant at the residence of her former husband in Ikorodu, five years after their divorce.


The two defendants are standing trial on a two-count charge bordering on conspiracy to commit an offence and assault. They, however, pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge.

The Prosecutor, ASP Gbemileke Agoi, told the court that the defendants committed the offences on Feb. 26 at about 4:p.m at Road 7, Mowowole Estate, Oreta Igbogbo area of Ikorodu.

Agoi alleged that the defendants conspired together and beat up the complainant, one Mrs Adeyemi Morenikeji, at her husband’s residence because she married the former husband of one of the defendants.

According to him, the offences contravened the provisions of Sections 412 and 172 of Criminal Law of Lagos, 2015.

The Magistrate, Mrs. R. A. Onilogbo, admitted the defendants to bail in the sum of N50,000 each, with two sureties each in like sum.

She adjourned the case till March 31, for mention.

Chelsea are reportedly ready to sell Christian Pulisic, Tammy Abraham, Fikayo Tomori, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Emerson in order to raise €200 million to spend on new signings next summer.

Thomas Tuchel is eager to improve his squad during the transfer window, but will first need to sell some of his players to create space in the squad.

According to the Daily Star, Chelsea are targeting the signings of Erling Haaland, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Kingsley Coman this summer.
