Just wondering if this movie can surpass "Titanic" as the 2nd highest grossing(box office) movie of all time. The movie currently stands as the 3rd highest grossing movie of all time. I think it is too early to take it out with "Avatar" so I wouldn't bring Avatar into fray. What do you think? |
Me think the poster belongs to this age. There are wonderful videos produced in the 70's, 80's and 90's that are way better than those listed. |
In this age where news fly around even before they are broken, it is surprising to see how lagging the crawling giant called NTA are! Check out their website to know what I'm talking about. No recent news, all news on the site are as old as the network. Abi na me no look well http://www.nta.com.ng/ |

Another escapee from Aro or Yaba left. smh |
Oga Ops, you need to re-modify your poll to make it mutually exclusive. Imagine 30-35 as against 31-35 and so on. |

When issues relating to Christianity and Islam come to the fore in the Nigerian polity, there can never be a consensus. Every member of both divide would think his opinion is the best even if said in ignorance. It is human nature to disagree, but calling people names because of our differences is not only uncivil but an act of mediocrity in itself. If you can't tolerate, then you are not fit to live among good thinking people. Many people are religion blind that their sense of reasoning has been badly damaged, smh! Afterall, Yoruba will say "Orun lo mo eni ma la" It is only Heaven that determines who will be saved" Tolerance is what we should always aspire. |
I'm speechless! How could such comment come from a leader? It is the least I would have expected. Let's see where all this will take us to as a Country. smh |
Guy, let her be. You had your chance and you let it fly. It's too late now. Give your heart some peace and try to cut off every form of communication between the two of you. I know how difficult it could be, but you have to take the bold step. |
continue day dreaming. I like your sense of assumption. ![]() |
It seems we have forgotten about "basic instinct". Human beings by nature are prone to all animalistic behaviours which include but not limited to having multiple sexual partners. Civilisation has played its part in killing this nature in us. The urge to try another partner will always be there either consciously or unconsciously. It only takes the civility in us and the sense of commitment to dispel the urge. The tendency is there for human beings to cheat and many of us will take a go at it if we are pressed beyond acceptable limit. Just as some people have been saying, it is the society that defines what is norm, if nothing is defined, we will all be in it and the battle to have multiple partners will always go down to the survival of the fittest. Though I have never cheated, but I pray I don't fall into a comfort zone that will give me the green light to cheat. |
For the sake of sanity, please remove from front page. Thanks |
What more can people say to drive home their points on the existence of love? |

Islamic banks are also criticized by some for not applying the principle of Mudarabah in an acceptable manner. Where Mudarabah stresses the sharing of risk, critics point out that these banks are eager to take part in profit-sharing but they have little tolerance for risk. To some in the Muslim community, these banks may be conforming to the strict legal interpretations of Sharia but avoid recognizing the intent that made the law necessary in the first place.[citation needed] The majority of Islamic banking clients are found in the Gulf states and in developed countries. With 60% of Muslims living in poverty, Islamic banking is of little benefit to the general population. The majority of financial institutions that offer Islamic banking services are majority owned by Non-Muslims. With Muslims working within these organizations being employed in the marketing of these services and having little input into the actual day to day management, the veracity of these institutions and their services are viewed with suspicion. One Malaysian Bank offering Islamic based investment funds was found to have the majority of these funds invested in the gaming industry; the managers administering these funds were non Muslim.[42] These types of stories contribute to the general impression within the Muslim populace that Islamic banking is simply another means for banks to increase profits through growth of deposits and that only the rich derive benefits from implementation of Islamic Banking principles. Hence, the controversy that surrounds Islamic Banking continues. Is Islamic Banking really Islamic? This is a question that still is a matter of debate among the Muslim academia.
