Do you both honestly believe that only the right is guilty of otherwise innucuous catch-phrases and buzz-words that suddenly seem 'vitriolic' when something tragic happens? Only the right employs the use of lingo of this nature?

Please do not reply yes. Because I may be forced to deploy Dr. Dre and his entourage to force feed you both with a strict regimen of concentrated doses of reality.

JS, this is where I take issue with your suggestions. This isn't a "sudden", retrospective judgement agaisnt Palin and the right. Sane people have been warning against this repeatedly. For instance, when the Palin gun sights first came out people complained, the same imagery appeared on the washington post, again people complained, then all the tea party vitriol and the language during the healthcare debate and people complained. I can't count the number of times these people are warned to tone it down whenever they pivoted towards the absurd. Please don't fall for this "the liberals are taking advantage of a tragedy" nonsense.

If you spend 3 years warning about the dangers of playing with matches near a fuel depot, I think you've earned the right to scream your lungs out when the depot then blows up and the innocent workers all die. Meanwhile the silly match box fiddler (1) manages to escape the tragedy and then (2) starts to insinuate that well shebi the other guy there too plays with sticks.

The general point about both sides using inflammatory rhetoric is a red herring. Any time a dem steps out of line, the comments are usually roundly criticized and walked back. Alan Grayson said some pretty rubbish things about his opponent the last time round and Anderson Cooper roundly and robustly called him out on it. Somebody brought up Obama's remarks earlier and the guy apologised for his choice of words and offered up what was a more civil representation of what he meant to say. The republicans simply deny any existence of foul language and huddle up together in their gang formations. Nevermind that Mr Ailes is now urging dialing back on the rhetoric. A republican comes out with silly racist inflammatory jargon and it's all fine because the other guys do it too?

It's always one crazy loon; incident after incident and the same apologists come out and say its just one crazy loon. Please tell me the last time in recent history that a republican politician got shot in the head?

Yes there are crazies on both sides but should the leadership be feeding them? - Prez keeps asking how a normal somebody can compare the actions of a dem pollster with a leader in the republican establishment ? - where are the grown ups ?

I know it is generally good practice in most debates to take positions that tend towards the mean, appear reasonable and concilliatory. "You know, let's compromise", "Johnny, what you did was wrong but Mike you too you shouldn't have taken his lunch" kind of thing. But sometimes, one has to take a firm stand against evil.

This rhetoric has ALWAYS been vitriolic. It didn't suddenly become so last saturday

Some of them have already started saying the gunman was a disgruntled democrat sef and the congresswoman was madly against the Pelosi agenda.

Then they persist with this silly "equivalence" argument. "See! See!!, the left is just as bad as us". "We got our Limbaugh but look look Olbermann is just as bad as him". Never mind that the fat sod take offensive and inflamatory speech to stratospheric levels.

You cannot vote against brown from from london. The only people that will vote against him are people in East Fife his constituency. You voted against Labour and your are ripping your vote.

A vote for labour anywhere in the country would have been a vote for Gordon Brown. He was party leader.

Nobody voted for the coalition, it was obvious their will be a hung parliament but most people felt Labour and Lib Dem will form the Govt but Clegg did otherwise cos of hatred against Brown Scotish origin. If Clegg has shame he will resign b4 summer if we still have this govt by April.

I don't know where you got your idea that Clegg didn't go with Brown because of his scottish origin so I won't even try and refute that - sounds silly and made up to me though.

In election analysis, there is something called momentum - Given the way the thing ended up, it would have been criminal for Clegg to go with Labour after they lost over 100 seats in the election.

The only way a LAB-LibDem coalition would have worked would have been with a different labour leader. Gordon wasn't too keen on leaving, and even with all that sef, the Lab-libdem coalition still didnt have enough seats to form a stable government. They still needed the help of the much smaller parties, SNP, etc, So my friend things aren't so black and white.

@pres - Sadly, you are right. That's the problem with our largely two party systems. No real choice. The libdems weren't quite big enough to really threaten. With their current performance, their base will have further reduced.

A lot of disenfranchised labour voters couldn't stomach voting Brown again. The natural alternative was to go further to the left with Clegg's party. No where enough people did and thus we ended up with this coalition contraption. Attempting to put a positive spin on a bad situation, we 'thought' the libdems would "man up". We were wrong!

Cameron is going to show us pepper before 2015.

The british people did not vote for this contraption o. They voted primarily against Brown and his version of Labour. Some of us had hopes about the coalition because we thought the LibDems would be there to curb some of the more grotesque excesses of the tories. Sadly, Clegg seems to be happier just riding in his government issue jaguar rather than standing up for his principles.

Not too different from the states actually. The left just seems to be rolling over and allowing the rabid right to do as they please.

Thank u all for your advice, i can not really judge my own cooking bt i know its nt bad, she also agree my coking is ok, but the problem is that she doesnt accept anything is wrong with her cooking she probably thinks am just being over demanding, i cringe when we have friends come over and we offer have to offer them food. its not up to a year since we wedded and am already feeling starved of good food in my home, i wonder for i long i can continue holding on. we are of same tribe
