The first response from the church on this matter admitted that Apostle gave her money when she confessed that she is a stripper and needed money to leave that wayward life and start something reasonable.

I have read many comments on nairaland where people were asking Ms Stephanie Otobo to show proof that she actually had an amorous relationship with Apostle Suleiman, she tried in that regards, many of her claims checked out (bank statement, Daniella okeke,facetime chats) while some are waiting to be checked (passports, BBM chats, protea hotel in abuja ,pregnancy claims etc) Some however didn't check out (Her mum's story, her promise of marriage claims I.e the introduction aspect)


But we should note that the case in the court of public opinion is majorly that of apostle Suleiman's alleged infidelity while the one in court is that of blackmail, and the onus lies on Apostle Suleiman to prove to us that Ms Otobo actually tried to blackmail him .

Now apostle SULEIMAN will need to tell the court why Otobo is blackmailing him and what she has against him that he doesn't want the whole world to know.

I need you to ask yourself this question, if someone you have never met is trying to blackmail you and you know you have no skeleton in your cupboard. What will you tell the person? If I'm the one, i will tell the person to go to hell since she has nothing on me.. Why will I waste my time on someone i never met

But this is what Apostle SULEIMAN did , he got her arrested and actually sent money to her before then.

1: He said Ms Otobo has a connection with Boko Haram, how come many of you never asked for proof from apostle SULEIMAN when he made that allegations. Especially On a stripper's alleged links to a dreaded terrorist group in the north east

2: Apostle Suleiman said EL rufai and Apc were behind his ordeal for his comments on Fulani herdsmen, while i personally applaud him for speaking out against herdsmen. Nevertheless can apostle SULEIMAN explain why a lady he met far back as 2015 will be used against him after he made some remarks in 2017. Also can apostle SULEIMAN prove to us that Ms Otobo was working for the government? Because personally i find it difficult to believe that a stripper which the apostle said has links with Boko Haram will be working for the government and apostle SULEIMAN will use the Nigerian police which happens to be an agent of government to effect the arrest of the alleged government worker (Stephanie) pls let's apply logic here.


3: Apostle SULEIMAN said festus keyamo was planning kill Ms Otobo and blame him for her death. Again you SHEEPLES, have you bothered to ask apostle SULEIMAN to prove this allegation?


We need to stop asking the lady for more proofs, how about we ask SULEIMAN himself, or is it because he's a man of God? We just want to believe the apostle and abuse the lady, even a lady mod here on nairaland was calling this girl derogatory names yesterday yet she was asking for more proofs from her and she claims she's open minded on this issue.. Even though am a Muslim but i grew up as a Christian and i know most churches do talk about confessions, repentance and forgiveness.

1: That you are a Christian and you probably think the Christian faith is under attack and you have taken it as a point of duty to defend your faith

2: Apostle Suleiman made some remarks about Fulani herdsmen, yes he spoke out, he won the hearts of many who had wondered why every Christian religious leader had kept quiet.. Infact even though am a Muslim, i agreed entirely with Apostle Suleiman when he spoke against Fulani herdsmen.. Maybe all these things made you to think you had to protect him because you probably think he's under attack for speaking against Fulani herdsmen

See blackmail is a difficult crime and it's not even easy at all.

First you can blackmail someone by

1: framing the person up, to frame someone up isn't easy especially a pastor of that calibre.. Framing someone up needs physical contact in order for it to be effective.. So i don't believe Otobo framed apostle sulaiman so as to blackmail him. since apostle claimed he never met her physically.. Someone can threaten you on phone but blackmail on phone and you went to arrest someone you have never met

2:This is the simplest and this is what Otobo probably did, she had a relationship with the apostle and wanted more money from him. The apostle probably was getting tired of it so he got her arrested.

Like I said earlier blackmailing someone ain't easy, you must have something incriminating against that person or something the person doesn't want the whole world to know about. It happens a lot in Nigeria, big men have sexual relationship with their side chicks and they use it to blackmail them.

Why i think apostle Suleiman is lying is this. If you try to blackmail me claiming we had a relationship and i know i have never met you in my life before then there's no need to get you arrested.. .arresting you means i don't want to be exposed by you.. .it's just simple aunty ishilove. Now apostle Suleiman said he was trying to help her, lol. I for once know that's questionable. ...I once worked with an NGO, we did our work in conjunction with a church then.. Our work was to rehabilitate and empower sex workers working at danger line, abule otun in abeokuta , most of these sex workers came from the eastern part of the country. The church was preaching to them and converting most of them. The church released certain amount of money to us, we took some of these girls to become apprentice in various trades.. Some we relocated them back and the church handed them over to their other branches in those girls states.

What am trying to say is that the church did an extensive monitoring on these girls, they made sure their lifes were changed for good and they will never return back to being a prostitute .

Some of you ought to be asking the apostle why he kept sending huge amount of money to a prostitute without proper monitoring, especially when he doesn't know her? The church should have a branch in Canada that will do the monitoring of church funds or did the apostle send the money to her in secret!?

The girl is using the marriage story just to convince the court that she was a victim and that's why it has been difficult for her to prove it but she has proved beyond reasonable doubt that she had an unholy relationship with apostle Suleiman..

Apostle Suleiman can end this thing if he will tender is passport and let's compare it to Otobo's own but then again the case is in court and it will amount to subjudice, the court of public opinion is left to wait and draw conclusions based on logic .
