Absolutely yes if your transit is between 2 or more Europe countries, don't make same mistake like me. You will be charged to change it back to one stop at eu country but if u have schengen visa b4 no issues.

I just arrived, since on Thursday ahhh

Used klm
Flight 11:45pm on 22nd arrived Amsterdam past 7am.
Next flight for 12pm Netherlands time, we boarded and one story to another by klm for 4hrs inside plane then on the run way moving already before they said AC is bad etc they sha cancelled the flight booked for only one night for hotel and flight is supposed to be in 2days time(Saturday 5pm) and my conference is on friday abi what is this nothing wey man fit do. They said the hotel will update it... OK ooo.
We sha wait to use hotel that's outside of the airport, immigration refused because we don't have schengen or Netherlands visa but later they sha run Background check and gave some of us 2days stay visa inside Netherlands and passport stamped naxo I sha enter and still see my elder brother.

Back to the hotel matter, after first night and now check out time na im hotel ppl tell us say klm paid for 1night and we had to leave(this happened to all ppl in different hotels) we got back to airport and klm told us to pay for 2nd night including other expenses and we will be refunded... issorite ooo

Saturday sha came and we zoomed but then some people are still left as plane over full and klm asked for volunteers who are willing to cancel their flight and will be compensated... to cut it short we landed successfully.

At POE I didn't spent up to 50secs

Me: xyz conference (didn't even ask if conference passed or not as the flight delay caused it)

We Nigerians like to make things difficult for ourselves.

If you are traveling internationally as a tourist with a visitor's visa, you must have a round-trip ticket.

A one-way ticket can only be used for travel by people who have a work visa or permit, a study visa or permit, or an immigrant visa.

Update!

Finally got a refusal.

Even after replying them with a letter to explain the oversight for ommiting that part of section 16.
I declared my US refusal but forgot to declare Canada past refusal even when Ive been issued visa after that refusal.

Anyways visa refused
I got 3 expired canadian visa in my passport.
I'm a frequent flyer to Canada.
I've never stayed more than 2 weeks on each visit.
Travelled once or twice in a year.

Same happened to me, i got the same above message but it was already in Lagos. That was the last update nothing like it's in lagos... but best bet is to chat them up for confirmation

Well, nothing serious. I used KLM,,, Lagos to Amsterdam then Amsterdam to Vancouver.
It was so smooth aside from our Airport in Lagos that asks for bribe at every point, but me i didn't give them anything.

No questions at all honestly, i just followed the procedure and boom, I'm here.

Thanks for this information. It's a big lesson cos I only need the visa for the conference and nothing else. Conference is 5 days and starts this monday. No plans to japa . Whenever they are done they should sha return the passport. Its just painful as my organisation would have given me a nice travel allowance . Na that one dey pain me and also the papers I had to present at the conference will now be presented by someone else. Its all good. How I wish VFS can make this your explanation above known to people so they can now choose where to submit.

From my own experience and couple others i know, note: when you submit in lagos all passport are gathered and taken to abuja on Friday(whether you submit moday oo or Wednesday, it will taken to Abuja friday) then worked on during the week and returned back Friday.
What I'm saying is this, all submitted passport from 29th till yesterday gets delivered to abuja yesterday and will be returned this coming Friday

My trip is supposed to be this Sunday and is sponsored by my organisation. Don't know what to do again. When I track it , it says it is under processing at the Canadian visa office.

Your application, tracking ID has been received and is under process at the IRCC Office on Fri Jun 02 2023. This was the last mail I got.

My colleague submitted his passport in Abuja VFS as he's based in Abuja on Tuesday this week and got a message Thursday evening to pick up his passport which he picked up yesterday.

My advice for anyone if you want your passport back fast please submit at Abuja vfs.

Any idea what I can do as if I can't get it by Monday, I won't be able to go for the conference again.

Sorry to hear that but in my own case i didn't drop address, i only paid for transmission fee at vfs lagos. They took passport to abuja and returned back to lagos

I just got back from Lagos vfs, stressed and disappointed. I chatted with vfs customer service before I went if it’s available in Lagos or not because I sent mine to Abuja. I thought vfs Abuja will send back to lagos since that was the address I dropped. After i wasted 10k on tfare and waited over 3hrs, I was told my passport is in Abuja. I can either pickup there or pay for courier service.

Weigh your option before sending to Abuja, they stamp very fast but na money.

Make I go sleep n pray lapo approve my loan so I can pay vfs courier service 😭😭😭

It is ready for pick up at vfs Lagos, go pick it on monday.

From what i have learnt from the Gurus here, just make sure you declare the denial doesn't matter if the UK visa was later approved. I believe by God's grace you will get it irrespective of your marital status, just show strong tie home and adequate bank statement. Wish you all the best

Ircc want to give me high blood pressure. I submitted my passport last week Wednesday visa dhl, it got to ircc office for stamping on Friday. I was expecting vfs to update me on the stamping, Naso I see “ircc portal” email, I login to my portal and saw “Action required”. Aaaah my spirit almost left my body o. I checked my portal only to see eligibility, background check and final decision has bn updated. Make I go use paracetamol, I dn get slight headache.
