My thoghts, assuming this story is true and verified:

1. The woman gave the tithe to God not to the MOG.
2. The MOG was appointed by God to collect the money on His behalf and use it as instructed.
3. The MOG is obligated to bless the woman so God's promises attached to this singular act of faith may be realised in her life.
4. The MOG holds the right to give the woman any amount he so wish provided God leads him to do so.
5. I think the money she received was not the tithe returned but a gift from the MOG.
