oloriooko:Am interested in your topic please note the following: 1. i assume your pastor is actually called by God to lead His people 2. i assume you are born again 3. i assume you are committed not only to but also in that church 4. i assume you truly desire a solution i have read the numerous responses to your post and its quite amazing that so many think leaving that church is the outright solution i have the following points for you to consider: 1. leaving that church is NOT the solution because facing persecution even from brethren is part of what we expect as Christians John_15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. Furthermore, do you know if the new church you are planning to run to is not worse? How many churches will you run away from? Better you face the problem and grow from it. Persecutions are not allowed by God for your destruction rather they should make you stronger and more deeply rooted in God's assured love. 2.rather than consider running away, why not pray and ask for directions because your presence in that church is not accidental, it has a divine purpose 3. the bible has a laid down procedure to resolve disputes Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. Matt 18:15 - 17 (KJV) 4. My candid advise is you follow these procedures which you have started but there are two more steps you have not taken. Bro, please never leave out prayers in this matter and try as much as possible to free your mind from bitterness and anger, its not quite easy but with the help of the Holy Spirit, you can do it. Shalom |

abduljabbar4: that you can quote the scriptures does not make you knowledgeable in it bro the scripture is a far cry ahead of your book, so drop the attitude if you sincerely want to know about the real scripture, i bet you cannot finish the book of the beginning before you surrender totally to the Holy Spirit and become born again with your face flat on the floor, bro, the bible is too powerful, its not a newspaper 38 Likes 3 Shares |

Sports / Oliseh, Enyeama: More To Come by OmoPastor(m): 11:18am On Oct 09, 2015 |
With great patience and sincere sense of judgement, I have listened and studied the on-going fracas in the Super Eagles Camp. The coach wants to assert his authority over ALL the players irrespective of who the player is. Some members of the team feel they deserve to be respected and treated with dignity. The country used to seeing its national team win everything is eagerly waiting to see its darling team wake from its slumber. The coach is the father of all in the team, as such should respected and regarded. The long serving players of the team should be respected as well. Mikel's obvious refusal of the captain's arm-band is an indication of more to come. Oliseh, as the father of the team has the moral right to discipline ANY member of the team but discretely and wisely. But the present situation indicates the contrary. The aftermath expected effect of this singular immature behaviour of the coach is the "tsunamous" resignation by the older players in the team. There was a better way of handling this matter which the coach has failed to explore and the hopeless NFF also failed to mediate as expected. Super Eagles is bigger than ANY player, bigger than ANY coach and bigger than ANY NFF official(s) |

Business / Emirates Airlines Earned $5bn More Than Nigeria's Crude Export Yield In 2014! by OmoPastor(m): 10:15am On Jul 11, 2015 |
Akin Olateru of Omni-Blu Aviation Services has disclosed that Nigeria needed to focus more attention to the development of aviation sector for it to earn respectable revenues just like other countries around the world. In a briefing with journalists during the week at the launch of Sesby’s Travels and Tours Ltd portal, in Lagos, The Managing Director, Omni-Blu Aviation Services, Mr. Akin Olateru has disclosed that Nigeria needed to focus more attention to the development of aviation sector for it to earn respectable revenues just like other countries around the world. He revealed that the gulf carrier, Emirates earned a turnover of $24 billion in 2014 financial year in ticket sales while Nigeria as a country earned just $19 billion from crude oil exploration within the same period. He explained that aviation business was highly technical, sensitive and visible, but with marginal business profit. He noted that the earning of the airline became possible due to the high infrastructure in place at the airport, stressing that with investments in infrastructure, Nigeria would earn more revenues from the sector. "There is solid airport infrastructure in Dubai airport. An airport can’t stand on its own, even with the best airport and without the driver infrastructure on ground, the airport won’t grow. There is massive security issue in Nigeria, which prevents airlines from flying into several cities regularly in the country. We all know that to fly from London to Lagos is about six hours, but at times, for you to get your check-in luggage out from the conveyor belts, it takes over two hours, but when you are in London, the same luggage can be gotten within five minutes of your arrival." http://www.tori.ng/news/4059/did-you-know-emirates-airlines-earned-5bn-more-tha.html |

http://www.tori.ng/news/200/baby-born-with-four-arms-and-four-legs-in-india.html A baby boy has been born with four arms and four legs in East India and as such causing panic in the city as locals believe he is the reincarnation of a god. The boy has been named "Godboy" as having multiple legs is commonly attributed to Hindu gods. People have traveled far and wide to the city in West Bengal State to get a glimpse of the eight limbed child. The parents and relatives of the newly born are very exited about their new addition claiming the boy is the son of the Hindu God Brahma, who is depicted with eight limbs. "When he first came out we couldn't believe it, the nurses said he was badly deformed but I could see that this was a sign from God. In fact, this is a miracle, its God's baby. Indian God's have extra limbs just like this,"a close relative said. The local police is finding it hard to control the huge number of people who want to enter the hospital and see the child. |

Business / CBN Explains How Fraudsters Use ATM To Defraud People by OmoPastor(m): 2:13pm On Jul 04, 2015 |
http://www.tori.ng/news/3590/cbn-explains-how-fraudsters-use-atm-to-defraud-peo.html The Central Bank of Nigeria has warned bank customers to guard carefully their ATM cards so as to avoid being victims to fraudsters. CBN discloses series of ways by which fraudsters can defraud customers. If you operate a bank account, then you would not be ignorant of the fact that fraudsters have severally attempted to defraud bank customers via Automated Teller Machine popularly called ATM. Speaking at the closing ceremony of The Central Bank of Nigeria's stakeholders’ engagement sensitisation programme tagged; “Promoting Financial Stability and Economic Development” held in Asaba Delta State, Director of Corporate Communications, Ibrahim Mu’azu disclosed series of ways by which fraudsters can defraud customers. He said three information on all ATM Cards are unique which the fraudsters only need to know to succeed; the number on the ATM, the expiring date and the pin numbers, adding that “ it is better to memorize it than to write it down where it can be seen” It was also explained that if the fraudsters get the information, apart from hacking into the account of another customer’s account, they can use it online to transact business while the victims account would be debited. The Director explained that if a customer’s ATM jams in another bank, it is the responsibility of the original bank where it was registered to destroy it, save the information from leakage and protect the customer’s account, adding that “if anything happens to the customer’s account, the bank has the liability to compensate the customer”. Mu’azu, however said the apex bank would no longer tolerate the attitude of some commercial banks neglecting customers’ complaints, threatening that it would not hesitate to sanction any commercial bank that fails to address customers’ complaints within two weeks. |

Politics / Did You Know? First Lady, Aisha Buhari Was At Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA)? by OmoPastor(m): 1:51pm On Jul 04, 2015 |
http://www.tori.ng/news/3587/did-you-know-first-lady-aisha-buhari-was-at-nigeri.html Up until recently, not much was known about our currently First Lady, Aisha Buhari. Well, if you still know very little about the wife of the president, then you should read her full bio here. A surprise revelation in new report has disclosed that Nigeria's first lady and wife of the President, General Muhammadu Buhari was once a student of the famous Nigerian Defence Academy. Read her full bio data below; She hails from Adamawa state, North-East Region of Nigeria. Her grandfather, Alhaji Mohammed Ribadu, was Nigeria’s first Minister of Defence. Her twenty-five years marriage to the former Head of State is blessed with five children and a granddaughter. Mrs. Buhari has a Master’s Degree in International Affairs and Strategic Studies (MIASS) from the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Public Administration from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria. She is currently undertaking a Counseling Course on Co-Dependency in the United Kingdom. Prior to acquiring her higher degrees, Mrs. Buhari had earlier pursued a career in Beauty and fashion and obtained a Diploma in Beauty Therapy from the Carlton Institute of Beauty Therapy, Windsor, United Kingdom and specialized in Permanent Make-up, Mesotherapy and Miocro-dermabrasion. As well as obtained Certificate from a French beauty school, Estheitique Academie in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Japanese Gold Facial and Towel-folding Techniques. Her natural passion for beauty and fashion is overwhelming, and this makes her interestingly unique, as she works, teaches and mentors young ones on beauty and fashion. In her almost fifteen years in the beauty industry, Aisha Muhammadu Buhari has trained, mentored and empowered hundreds of Nigerians in her chosen profession, beauty. She is the Founder/Managing Director of Hanzy Spa and Principal of Hanzy Beauty Institute, Kaduna and Abuja. She is a Resource Person to National Basic Technical Education (NBTE) on Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology and has participated in the curriculum development of Small Medium Enterprises for NBTE. She is an advocate of Women and Girl-child education having come from an area that is educationally disadvantaged for the female gender. Her life philosophy is: “if the environment is safe, if there is no corruption in governance and public life, there would be enough resources in any nation to meet the important needs of the common people including those of women and the youth.” |
