i have this for mr. buhari: Proverbs 13:3 (BBE) He who keeps a watch on his mouth keeps his life; but he whose lips are open wide will have destruction. (GNB) Be careful what you say and protect your life. A careless talker destroys himself. (MKJV) He who keeps his mouth keeps his life; he who opens his lips wide, it is ruin to him. Proverbs 18:6 (BBE) A foolish man's lips are a cause of fighting, and his mouth makes him open to blows. (CEV) Foolish talk will get you into a lot of trouble. (GW) By talking, a fool gets into an argument, and his mouth invites a beating. Proverbs 15:2 (CEV) Words of wisdom come from the wise, but fools speak foolishness. (GNB) When wise people speak, they make knowledge attractive, but stupid people spout nonsense. |
Pipsland78: You really do lack depth.now i can see how deep you are, surely you're very very deeeep ![]() |
Pipsland78: ^^^ Whether titles are adored or not, how does your question add any value to anyone? Why do we expend so much time and energy on trivialities while more serious issues are left hanging.or are you one of the title-mongers? have i stepped on your toes? if you have nothing to say, please tie up your fingers, thank you ![]() |
Pipsland78: To what end? What purpose would this serve? How would this add any value to anyone.have you ever encountered people that scream, blow their tops simply cos they were not addressed as titled? does it make any sense when titles are so adored in the church? this is the end, this is the purpose and this is the value my bro |
Afam4eva: Why's your username "omopastor"?its a username bro or do you think even if my papa na pastor i cannot challenge all this appellations within the church? the question is not to disrespect anyone but to draw the attention of many to this issue and i want to know if there is any spiritual attachment to addressing people by their titles |
am mostly concerned about all the appellations among brethren in the church today where some churches insist that some ordained persons must be addressed as pastors, deacons, elders etc. but when you look through the scriptures, only Jesus was addressed as Master: Mat 12:38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we want to see a sign from you. (MKJV) Luk 8:45 And Jesus said, Who touched Me? And all having denied, Peter and those with Him said, Master, the crowd presses and jostles You, and You say, Who touched Me? (MKJV) Joh 20:16 Jesus said to her, Mary! She turned herself and said to Him, Rabboni! (which is to say, Master!) (MKJV) if you go through the bible you hardly see a place where the apostles were addressed as apostle peter, apostle john or prophet luke, even when God spoke to these people, He addressed them by their first names. so why do we make so much noise about pastor this, prophet that, apostle this, even some people become so distraught and angry if addressed without the titles? |
@ OP you can do better than this bros, its obvious you made this up ![]() |

Group To Take Nigeria Government To International Court The Northern Elders Forum (NEF) will file a complaint with the International Court of Justice (ICJ) accusing Nigeria’s government of human rights violations, according to spokesman Ango Abdullahi.http://www.voiceofnigeria.org |
Senator Khalifa Ahmed Zanna, the Senator representing Borno Central Senatorial Zone, who was arrested and questioned after a high profile Boko Haram commander was arrested in his house has in an interview earlier today astonished Nigerians when he said that “23/24 local governments of the 27 in Borno state are under the effective control of Boko Haram.” Zanna also revealed more shocking revelations saying “Numerous young men all around Borno State are joining boko haram by the day.” Senator Zanna talked about the proposed amnesty for the sect despite their recent murderous activities. He said “There must be a will by the government for the amnesty to work”. Although he also said “I have never advocated for amnesty. My own solution is to dialogue with the people and rehabilitate the Borno community.” http://www./ |
The U.S. government is worried that escalating insecurity in Nigeria, matched with ineffective control, embarrasses and may destabilize Nigeria. The United States, Nigeria’s major international ally, has expressed ‘deep concern’ over the rising insecurity in Nigeria, warning of the potential instability it poses to the country. The U.S issued the warning in a statement on Thursday after a meeting with the National Human Rights Commission in Abuja. Nigeria has been dogged by escalating conflicts in the past one month leading to the loss of hundreds of lives, majorly civilians. In April, over 185 civilians were killed in Baga – dubbed Baga Massacre – after government forces raided a small border town in troubled Borno State, in search of Boko Haram fighters. At least 55 Nigerians were also killed last week after Boko Haram fighters attacked security formations in Bama, another town in Borno. The attack saw the Islamic insurgents also free over a hundred prisoners. Only this week, at least 30 security officers were killed in an ambush by a relatively unknown group in Nasarawa State, less than 100 kilometres away from the capital city of Abuja. Boko Haram, an Islamic terror sect that has killed thousands of Nigerians since three years of bombings, shootings, kidnappings, and coordinated attacks on security facilities, has been blamed for most of the growing insecurity. “The United States condemns Boko Haram’s campaign of terror in the strongest terms… Those members of Boko Haram responsible for the violence must be held accountable according to the rule of law,” the U.S demanded. The Nigerian government, apparently unable to curtail the sect, and under pressures from northern elites, has since constituted a committee to persuade members of the sect to accept amnesty. A similar strategy, where criminals are placed on pay by the state, was used to solve a large part of insecurity in the Niger Delta region in 2009. Counterproductive counterterrorism A woman walks past burnt houses in the aftermath of what Nigerian authorities said was heavy fighting between security forces and Islamist militants in Baga, a fishing town on the shores of Lake Chad, adjacent to the Chadian border, April 21, 2013. Picture taken April 21, 2013. REUTERS The Nigerian government’s counterterrorism response has also been complex, complicit in at least a quarter of the deaths, and ineffective. The U.S government expressed ‘deep concern’ over the military tactics of the Nigerian government in combating Boko Haram – including extrajudicial killings, prolonged detention, and disappearances – warning that it is tarnishing Nigeria’s global reputation. “We are concerned that such an indiscriminate force approach to counterterrorism is increasing extremism and decreasing confidence in the federal government,” the U.S said. “These tactics tarnish Nigeria’s reputation as an emerging leader and a stable democratic government.” The U.S. demanded that Nigeria puts civilian protection in the forefront of its counterterrorism campaign. “The government now has the opportunity to demonstrate its commitment to the rule of law and well being of Nigerians by, first, adopting tactics in the North that are effective and protect civilians, and, second, ensuring that the National Human Rights Commission carries out an independent and transparent investigation” of killings, the U.S. demanded. http://premiumtimesng.com |
Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs has asked Nigerians not to blame the violence in parts of the North on Muslims. The group which also condemned the recent attacks in Baga and Bama, called on the Federal Government to caution those making inflammatory statements over the 2015 general elections. The apex Muslim body stated this in a communiqué after its meeting in Kaduna on Wednesday. In the communiqué read by the new Secretary-General of the council, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, the NSCIA also urged the federal and state governments to implement the various White Papers on the ethno-religious crises in the country. The council asked the Federal Government to immediately resettle all Muslims displaced in crisis-ridden areas in Bauchi, Plateau and Kaduna states and put an end to deliberate plans to exterminate Muslims in Wukari, Taraba State. The communique read, “The security challenges in the country, especially in the North, are being blamed on Muslims, even when events have shown in recent times that many non-Muslim hide under the names of Boko Haram to perpetrate crimes. “The persistent extra judicial killings of Nigerians by security agents, as in the recent cases of Baga and Bama in Borno State, to which the international community has attested, is not only criminal but also capable of encouraging lawlessness in the country. “The government should, as a matter of urgency, caution those making inflammatory statements on the forthcoming 2015 elections so that the fragile peace in the country will not be jeopardised. All those being detained for alleged criminal activities should be prosecuted immediately. “The council strongly condemns the Baga and Bama massacre as heinous crime against humanity and calls upon the Federal Government to immediately set up a judicial commission of inquiry to ensure that justice is done. “The council frowns on the continual failure of the state and Federal Government to implement the White Papers of their commissions/panels of inquiry on various ethno-religious crisis and conflicts in the country.” http://www.punchng.com |
pro01: Is there anything called "middle belt" in Nigeria's constitution or political lexicon? Nigeria is broadly divided into North (north east, north west, north central) and South (south east, south west, and south south). "Middle Belt" is an outdated colloquialism.are you trying to "kolobi" the guy to the north? |
Adedayo516: Who tell you?!.....You never see the new movie from that side?!...BAGA 2013!...lol ![]() |
@ OP and you say this guy is a party leader? someone that cannot control his outburst just opening his bucal cavity to utter whatever his unschooled mind manufactures? how on earth does he think it must go to the north, is it cos its their birth right or cos na their papa get 9ja? they have started again and you want to convince me to vote you into power come 2015? ![]() |

Cokeroo: I'm not saying he's using occult powers, but of all things, why use masonic symbolism in a church complex? Don't forget that the man is an architect. Just food for thought. No arguments brother, for i know a fact #A MAN CONVINCED AGAINST HIS OWN OPINION IS OF THE SAME OPINION STILL# Dale Carnegie....thank you for the quote but as an architect is he not entitled to whatever design he wishes to use? so if i like the design and use it for my house, does that make me an occult? symbols are signs and it depends on the reader but the main reason stays with the user of the symbol |
Cokeroo: like this is supposed to be a church complex, why litter the landscape with masonic symbols hidden in plain sight? Architectural designs are one of the most important ways masons communicate. Take a look at some of the designs of the greatest cities in the world. Washington, new york, london, paris. All littered with masonic symbolism hidden in plain sight.have you tried to consider this: if this man is using occult powers as suggested by you, please kindly tell me what is the rationale behind your accusation? so the shape of an object belongs to the occult cos its related to them? the shape existed before the occult, now cos they adopted it mean everywhere you see it, that means its occultic? |
musKeeto: Yeah, he failed to save his Son from the Romans... What an irresponsible father... ![]() |
may God console their families adieu brothers |
investigate what? your senseless claims of occult symbols in Winners? bros get a job and stop this rubbish. and i think you had the feeling that this topic will take you to the frontpage? *shaking head in disgust* |
