Delta state has gone to the dogs why my beloved Edo State is jetting ahead at full blast with nearly all round development! If only we had similar monthly allocation as Delta, by now we would be top 5 state in Nigeria but despite that we are still top 7 state in the federation when it comes to development index ...Oshiomhole carry go ! |
Reptyle: You might want to skim through the thread below:Thank you for that link and also the link to the 2013 budget of RSG. It is now clear to me, just as I posited in my earlier post that the OW is economical with the truth and playing the devil and the light game with such critical projects. Shame on the OW and the OP. |
What are we suppose to do with this half baked opinion I ask the OP and the OW these following questions:1. How much of the approved $150million loan has been released to the River state government for the mega hospital and how much did the RSG budget for that hospital in 2013? 2. How much of the approved $315million loan has been released to the River state government for the mono-rail and how much did the RSG budget for that hospital in 2013? In one fell swoop you told us that $318million was borrowed for the mono rail and in another paragraph you told us it is $315million. How can we then trust you that your figures are factual? In your assessment of the level of completion of the mono rail, you claimed only 25% of the project has been completed. However, you did not avail your readers how you arrived at that percentage sum, any reference for them to verify your claim, and more importantly the stage the project out to be according to the contract agreement signed between the RSG and the handling contractors. In your concluding statement, you allude to the fact that the problem with the $200million water project loan is with Amaechi and not Okonjo Iweala, however, non of your submission buttress any fact for any sensible individual to reach similar conclusion as you deed in your write up. Save for the reform of the River state water board you claim RSG or indeed Amaechi failed to carry out which was part conditional on the loan approval, you deliberately or in a calculated attempt failed to tell your would be readers, the reasons for the allege non reforms of the water board, vis-a-viz the previous and current composition of the River State water board. While I also have very serious concerns on the delay bedevilling the Mono rail in P/H, as I think it is a fantastic project that would kick start a new mode of transportation in that state, however, rather than playing the devil and the light game with such a project in a public daily, RSG is one of the few state governments I know organises open forum for public update about her government policies and projects, where questions are asked and feedback is given by the governor or his representative, so why can't this OP and the OW go to one of those 'open' fora and ask the governor or His representatives the questions? |
@OP, IT IS SOYINKA's daughter and not Prof. SOYINKA himself... Please correct your misleading title ![]() |
If the TRIBUNE NEWPAPER has any sense, they ought to publish an apology to Nigerians for their misleading reportage on this issue. I know they will not because they are PDP propaganda arm in the Southern Nigeria. |
Bishop Magic: See your life? You are such a natural born coward. As my amiable governor said, if e pain you say I be bini... Then 'go and die' And no two million will be given to you for any compensation ![]() |
Bishop Magic: STFU! YOU HAVE BEEN CAUGHT!Haha... I dey pain you cause I vehemently refused your creepy invite I do not associate with cultist and I do not need your Facebook link as you are worthless and an irredeemable wooser! Nigeria will remain one indivisible entity and your ibo generation will pass always and the next after that will truly live to be a Nigerian ![]() |
Once again YOU ARE FROM SW. Stop trying to pretend to be from SS. It looks PATHETIC. Be proud of what you are for once in your miserable life {Omo_Tier1: Only south south would think like this remind me not to vote for any of them ever again.} ^^^^^^The above is your own words.
You can manipulate posts as you like. If you did not know, I do not vote based on region and ethnicity, I vote based on my conscience and who I think has the intellectual sagacity to make nigeria great. Hence the reason when I came to a Nigeria to vote in 2011, I did not vote GEJ even though I have very close association and family links to GEJ beyond just being from South South than most of you in here. We Binis did the same during Ambrose Ali elections. we did not vote based on ethnicity, we voted Him then Because He showed that He had what it takes to make Then Bendel great. So get this in your head... Come 2015, if GEJ survives till then and dares to contest, I will not vote for him. I will rather abstain than vote for an incompetent person to ruin nigeria has He has in the last four years. |
Bishop Magic: this osun etout still believes he can pass for Edo I will send you a PM and my face book link.I know you are a social slack, therefore I do not need your useless Facebook link. God forbid I will have someone like you on my professional page link . As for PM, don't you dare to PM me, I do not associate with cultist and be rest assured I will decline your PM immediately. ![]() |
Bishop Magic: I know many of your mothers, fathers and grandparents that were drug mules ferrying herion to Thailand and returning with lace.Like you ibos have made Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Laos a no go places for Nigerians? If anything, it is the drugs dealing by you ibos that drastically changed the way many countries threaten Nigerians at their airports. |
Bishop Magic: Which Bendel? Do you know how much the Deltans were relieved after their state creation? Will you keep quiet and stop spewing lies? Ibo respected under which Bendel? If at all, the three ethnic group majorly respected under the old Bendels were us, the Binis, Urhobos, and Itsekiri. The ibos were always seen as the traitors and tenants they are known to be. Of course they were relieved, but who is having the last laugh? Them or US in Edo State who are now light years from them when it comes to development? Which ND is seceeding!is Edo, Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa ? Which of these states have once in their existence in Nigeria has agitated for succession except you ibos? |
Whether you like it or not, Nigeria is a DISGRACE. And for your information, I don't live in Nigeria but I sure as hell ashamed of the country.
Yes, and I guess you must be in Malaysia or Thailand. Son we go hear your name for tv say them don lead you to the Galloway Nigeria is more than you ibo people, if you cannot take the heat anymore, make una go join Cameroon nah! |
Bishop Magic: No mind the ediot! That's how dem won claim WarriAs God has punished the devil.. So it is to you people. We Benedlites know ourselves, we do not talk the way you ibo talk. We do not beat our chest. If we want to do something, we do it! From all your post on NL, it is obvious you no be waffi... You be ibo true and true. Like I have always told you people, ND will not join you in your second madness the day you decide to engage nigeria in war. The 3rd Mechanised brigade division, transport division at Siluko./Uselu and the Tactical airport in Benin airport will be fully engaged by my people to ensure you ibos are given a dirty besting for the umpteen time ![]() |
Nigeria is a disgrace to the entire African continent. A blemish waiting to be popped. Calling itself Giant of Africa and carrying itself as the big man of Africa when in fact it's just big for nothing. As I watch, the damn country is exploding and all this one nigerian dogs wants everyone to go down in rumbles with it. Devils that's what you all are. That una evil wish no go happen. Nkita ara. Better start getting ready for the division of Nigeria cause that is already dated, signed and stamped by God.
What is this one saying? I blame etisalat that keep giving free MB to jolts in Nigeria! |
Bishop Magic: Olofo I am not Igbo how many times will I state it here. By the way you think nah only igbo hate una yoruba.Quiet there.... Disgruntled ibo... You cannot change, you head is as flat as described by Agbameta! And can implore you to stop calling guy... Such a stupid way to address someone you do not know and say about your rascally up bringing. |
Haha... Dem don they copy and paste projects and success of other hard working people as usual since when did the FG start constructing road in Ewohimi in Edo State ![]() |
Bishop Magic: Shatap. You are an Osun tribal he-goat and muslim fanatic like all the APC etouts here.See why Agbameta call you people flat head FYI, and for the records, Militancy did not Start in Delta State. Right from the days of Bendel State, in a village called OFUNAMA, where the remnants of Ijaws settled after the war, had always been involved in militancy. Same goes for those in Orhiowhon close to Oredo in Benin. |
Bishop Magic: That is what the whole of ND are planning to do. They are no longer interested in a country that is populated with ingrates who covet their resources but are not willing to see them in position. No Niger Deta is nothing puff! All the militants have learnt their bitter lessons. From to Bayelsa, they now know that active participation in local politics is the way to go. Go to Edo state, most of the militants are now making every effort to go to school as they also want to get elected and enjoy the looting spree as practice by your GEJ. If you think ND is looking to disintegrate Nigeria as your SE people, you better know now that you are on your own! |
Bishop Magic: Thank you. This is what they want. Let the muggu arrangement continue. These politicians like how things stand and are only claiming patriots because they are not in charge.I have said repeatedly on here, though not what I want to see, however, if GEJ continues to act the ward He has in the last six months in the first quarter of 2014, He will be impeached and put under House arrest and nothing will happen to Nigeria. Those who are currently urging him in the wrong direction will suddenly jump ship and begin to dance to the new song in town. Ask Ibori, I am sure He will enlighten you better. I am sure the recent cries of your own Orji Kalu clearly confirms what We have always told you people on NL. SE stand to suffer the most in a disintegrated nigeria. |
Bishop Magic: And what has your region sacrificed for the development of Nigeria?Contrary to what you think, I am not Yoruba, I hail bodily from Edo State, Benin City! If you were taught any history in secondary school, if at all you went to high school, you would have learnt about tall figures from Mid Western region who gave a lot to make nigeria a nation. As Bendel and now Edo State, we have played prominent roles in ensuring, especially at critical times that Nigeria peace and unity is guaranteed even sometimes at our own detriment. In politics, we recognize the work together, share together rule. We never scream discrimination rather we strive hard, even as a small ethnic group to ensure we compete on equal pedestal without ethnic group. |
^^^You sound like a grade-1 efulefu......that's if you really are Igbo! Your type most likely was born, brought up or lived most of your life in Lagos or Abuja, and never had the chance to truly appreciate the problems we face in this country!; most likely you or your parents are among the thieving elite that can't see the bigger picture facing us as a people owing to having your snouts in deep the trough, pigging out on stolen and ill-gotten wealth! In my previous post on this thread, i mentioned specific issues affecting Ndigbo; issues that show the raw deal we've received thus far in your 'united, free and fair nation', yet you ignored responding to those issues raised, but continued sounding like a broken record, effectively telling anyone that doesn't like the status-quo to go take a hike! What moves have you made to ensure Ndigbo get a better deal in this country? It's moro/ns like you that have been part of our problem since the end of the civil war; accepting any and every treatment meted out to us by those that don't wish us well.....and ever willing to settle for crumbs thrown at you from the high table where the 'owners of Nigeria' dine like royalty!
If this is the kind of mind set you are passing on to your children, then you people will forever be slave in Nigeria. If we were to take the advent of democracy from 1999 into context, what sacrifices has your people made to preserve Nigeria that makes you think you deserve to have everything on the platter of gold as a people? Nationhood involves giving and taking, compromises, etc. Your type thinks other regions, tribes, and people should sit back, fold their hands akimbo whilst your people have unflinching access to Nigeria and do as it pleases you. It does not work that way, hence you and your people have to compromise and shift grounds in other to get something from Nigeria! As a people, you cannot expect to get back from Nigeria what you did not contribute to her. |
solomon111: Get out of here.Your stupidity knows no bound! If there was ever a regime that constructed so many highways from scratch in His time, it was Obasanjo regime. I would speak of these four examples 1. Benin-Sapele-Warri highway, completely dualised during Obasanjo's time without much noise? 2. Benin-Agbor-Asaba highway, completely dualised during Obasanjo's time without much noise 3. Benin City outer pass by, now called Benin by pass, constructed from scratch, with bush clearing, and final ashphating of the dual carriageway without much noise. 4. Asaba -Edo inner connect to EWU by pass, completely dualised during Obasanjo's time with much noise. These roads where done middle of first. And second term. I can also name over 20 roads in the north that received similar attention during Obasanjo's time. Now I dare you to name 5 dualised roads GEJ began and completed since He became President in 2010, else you are the most disgruntled human parading this forum. |
A Presidency that scored F9 in 2013 still praising herself Can the Presidency name one promise made to Nigerians at the beginning of the year that she fulfilled in 2013? |
agbameta: And who be this village bingo with no rope for neck? This is classic Chei, Abeg let him end 2013 well ![]() |
atlwireles: Looking at all the changes across the country, mostly in the last 3years. One wonders why people are still crying corruption. What happened to all this monies before now.The truth is, if some of the changes we have witness under some governors are seen at the centre, Nigerians will not be screaming for a change of government at the centre. Look at the states the Op is posting good road pictures from, they are states where the governors have made very tangible efforts to bring good governance to the grassroots. However the same cannot be said of GEJ's government with the attendant trillions that has passed through His hands, hence the reason Nigerians are shouting corruption. As for the monies, Nigeria has made so much money from oil, taxation in the last 5 years than ever, and also, the instrument of bonds have never been so exploited for development as currently, although it is what pointing out not all of those bond instruments have been used judiciously for the sole purpose of development as in the case of Delta state ![]() |

Thank you for that wise post. I for one would have said Ngige should jettison the Tribunal petition however, we must resolve to strength our democracy by not allowing fraudulent elections to produce rogues who will end up ruining the state, hence the very need for the Anambra elections be challenged in the court of law. As far as I know. That election is the hallmark of Peter Obi's disgraceful stewardship as governor and may His deceitful type never reign swells in Anambra again. I had high hopes when He got into power. I thought I saw a technocrat, and a seasoned and exposed individual who would use his clout in the Banking industry to develop Anambra, little did I know that He was innately criminal, an ethnic bigot and a man devoid of truth. |
taharqa: List yr father's achievement here for everyone. Go ahead; Waiting...... By d way, yr attempt at discredicting d Academic and Professional achievements is as Lame as you've always beenI have always told you, you are not as clever as my neighbours lobster pet! That is one reason your mother had to go bribe that officer before you were employed under GEJ. I know in your household, with the best achievement haven been a state schooling leaving certificate with 5 Ds and 3F9s, and a diploma in cookery, a profile like that of Abati is an inspiration to your generation. Now face the purpose of this thread and stop derailing it. |
On this statement, I stand in agreement with Mr. president. Every nation on earth is ordained to exist as such by God as the bible clearly says so. However, can Mr. president also tell us if the massive looting of the Nigeria nation by his regime was ordained by God too ![]() |
01mcfadden: thumb up for your achievements but you should write this in your autobiography and not here.Hehe... Go through my posts on NL, I am not the type the flout His credentials and I had to let the ignoble character know that He is not worth the two pairs of shoes I wear to stroll out NL is an anonymous forum, so several on here think every one is as backward as they are. |
atlwireles: The electoral tribunal is there to seek cancellation of the Anambra's election. That's the way the system works. No, you got it all wrong! After INEC completed the first batch of elections, having noticed the widespread and deliberate disenfranchisement of voters by some of her compromising staff, there was no need to go ahead and conduct 'fake' supplementary elections unknown to the electoral laws in Nigeria. At that time, INEC ought to have cancelled the elections of JEGA and HIS RECs were people of honour and integrity, since no final results had been announced by the state returning officer at that stage of the election. In fact, the damaged done to Nigeria's democracy by that Anambra election is massive and several of our international development partners are now sitting on the edge thinking so much would go wrong with INEC and 2015 elections |
olabukola: why the do we keep on saying religion has no place in politics in Nigeria. Am sure their religious leader will not advice them to vote for anybody out side their religion.Religion has and will always have a place in a democratic setting. However, religious leaders are not to cajole their fellow worshipers to vote for any candidate, instead, they ought to encourage their fellow worshippers to participate actively in the electoral process. This is one thing they do so well in the north but is lacking in the South. |
I have it on good authority that Oduah will step down next year as part of the cabinet rescheduling as GEJ has arranged a soft landing for Her. after all, She expended over N3bn of her ill gotten wealth of GEJ election in 2007 & 2011, so what do you expect from GEJ? |
...Oshiomhole carry go !
I ask the OP and the OW these following questions:
I do not associate with cultist and I do not need your Facebook link as you are worthless and an irredeemable wooser!
