Here is how the government works sir.. When an entity is established under the law such as the NDDC, it is technically not considered part of the federal government. Sincere 9gerian: NDDC is a federal govt intervention agency. The president is the head of the executive arm of govt at the federal level. He appoints the leadership and board of NNDC. He charges them on what to do and how to go about it.

This is coming from someone who likes to portray himself as thought He knows the workings of government the composition of the NDDC are nominees from the various states under whose purview NDDC responsibilities lies, including the IOCs. NDDC is established by a status of law, making it partially independent from the executive arm, it prepares it's own budget different from that of the federal government, and the NASS vets her budgets and also monitors Her works.

I know you very intelligent not to realize that what subsidies are suppose to mean to the populace. Just because fuel subsidy in Nigeria has been mismanaged and abused does not mean it is in itself a bad economic policy.

We all know that the true cost of fuel subsidy is less than N300bn, however, when GEJ came to power, that amount went high heaven to over N2.3trillion does that not tell you something about such a leader?

In a sensible government, fuel subsidy policy would be implemented such that virtually all the money would end up back into the government coffered and the masses will get fuel without much stress.

Quote me anywhere, there is no one nation on this earth today that does not subsidy the fuel it's citizens uses. Different countries uses different measures.

The jolts aka Jonathanians do not even know that NDDC is a commission set up by a status of governance and the only bearing the Federal executive have on it is the approval of the commissioners and representative as such, it funding is not vetted by the Presidency but by the NASS, just as the executive arm funding is vetted by the NASS.

It is foolery to claim NDDC substandard projects are the works of the FG! This thread further vindicates Ameachi's position.
