I think this question more aptly addressed the ibo people! They are so fixed of GEJ, and APC's would be flag bearer yet they refuse to come forward and embrace change! As Asari Dokubo and Ameachi has said in recent times, we in South South would have benefited far more if Yar'dua had continue in office as He was a man of his words though He was very slow at taking decisions. Several of the things He agreed to be done in ND e.g, the Mass housing projects and the ND village today are now history on paper with no attention paid whatsoever by GEJ. I can assure you this, once APC candidate is made known and the coast is so clear that He will be the next president, the senior men in South South would no doubt nicodemosly go in secret to extract commitment from the flag bearer as warri no dey ever carry last ![]() |
cashkid18: i dont waste my mb on cyber lunatics lik uHehe.. Flat head as Agbemeta would put it. A wretch soul that is at the mercy of etisalat free browsing would come on here to spew rubbish about Nigeria disintegration and biafra none sense. Such a disgruntled element. |
It's funny how many Nairalanders throw around the word ignorance.. I will not indulge you in your cynical jabs at my intellect as I do not need you to validate me. Here is how the government works sir.. When an entity is established under the law such as the NDDC, it is technically not considered part of the federal government. Reasons being that the NDDC makes its own decisions independent of the Federal Government according to the act that institutes the commission. The NDDC is funded by the FG (15%) and IOCs and State governments. Read the act that governs the NDDC and get a lawyer to explain it to you better if the language used in the act is beyond your comprehension. http://www.nigeria-law.org/Niger-DeltaDevelopmentCommission(Establishment%20etc)Act2000.htm The federal Government does not tar streets nor provide street lights.. That's the job of the LGAs.
My brother soon they will start claiming the jobs LG chairman digging pit toilets as FG projects. It is so shameful that so many who comment on national issues have very like know how on how government at centre in all three arms works. Imagine if some of these person end up as advisers to a minister or a senator, what will they be advising their boss? Some even fail to realise that NDDC is established by a statue of law, therefore it functions independently, prepares and executes its own budget and is only answerable to the oversight of the National assembly and not even to Mr. president! |
chukwudi44: Olodo a sitting nigerian president can never be impeached!! You can continue to dream but it cannot happen. The powers available to a president are too enormous and will be used to frustrate the attempt!!Watch as the drama unfolds...your eyes will be full of water if and when it happens. If GEJ refused to heed the call, He will be impeached and put under house arrest. All you rag tag rabid wooser will all run into the bush like Asari Dokubu did when He was dealt with. |
Obiagu1: You made no sense!Who is now the jolt? Did I ever mention that RSG was impeached? Is it not obvious to all and sundry that what transpired at the Rivers state house of assembly was an aborted coup against Ameachi? Are you a learner and a child of this morning history of Nigeria political coups? Who told you it was an internal affair? Were you deaf and blind when PEJ was reported to have held several meetings preceding the impeachment? Were you deaf and blind when the cultist Bipi kept calling the name of His jesus of Otueke who died like Lazarus but currently of a battery operated life? You flat heads always like to deny the truth and pay blind eyes to reality. Everyone knows GEJ and PEJ were instrumental to what happened in Rivers State and their own pay back time is near ![]() |
cashkid18: sorry dude,i dont chat wit lunatics mayb u shud try d next section called yaba-left.go there n u wil meet some of ur folks there,u cn chat wit those ppleSee this uncircumcised philistine! A potential drug pusher in the making will still open His mouth to talk. You people are becoming a disgrace to the entity called Nigeria. I would rather have has saki pool exchanged for you flat heads in Nigeria. Are you not ashamed that it is in another mans house you are announcing your never to be realized nonentity called Biafra? |
Obiagu1: Their greatest tool to initiate an impeachment of the President is the purported missing $50 billion.FYI, if GEJ were to be impeached, there are already grounds bothering on abuse of office, release of non appropriated funds, to abuse of service wide votes that can be unearthed to impeach the president. So relax, GEJ should go back to the drawing board and provide Nigerians true democratic dividends, honour His promises made during the run up to 2011 both to Nigerians and politicians in His party. ![]() |
Obiagu1: This is not a coup by the military.Where were you when madam piss fronting for her husband carried out a phantom coup against the people of rivers state? When 5 became greater than 21 and till date not a single word of condemnation was uttered by GEJ. As a leader of PDP and more so as a man who swore to protect the constitution of Nigeria, is he not suppose to use the right democratic instruments to ensure that such discretion of the constitution does not see the light of the day? Or did he not realise that His silence on the matter was seen by many that what transpired had His tactical approval? What goes around come around. If as alleged by you the decamping of these NASS is geared towards impeaching GEJ, then so be it. Though I would rather have him not impeach, however if He is impeached, I reserve no pity for Him. He has taken Gods grace for granted far too long. |
Sincere 9gerian: NDDC is a federal govt intervention agency. The president is the head of the executive arm of govt at the federal level. He appoints the leadership and board of NNDC. He charges them on what to do and how to go about it.This is coming from someone who likes to portray himself as thought He knows the workings of government the composition of the NDDC are nominees from the various states under whose purview NDDC responsibilities lies, including the IOCs. NDDC is established by a status of law, making it partially independent from the executive arm, it prepares it's own budget different from that of the federal government, and the NASS vets her budgets and also monitors Her works. It is absurd that the substandard NDDC project is now what you people are calling GEJ's/FG projects ![]() |
. You keep saying kid, are you over 55? If not you're saying rubbish. So your Boko Haram friends are not demons? Those looters like IBB, OBJ, Tinubu, Etteh, Bank-Ole, Bode George, Alams etc who looted our common wealth and let people die on the poor roads nationwide, letting kids die in hospitals without medicine, they are saints and angels? Get this into your head: Awolowo already said Nigeria is a mere geographical expression. In other words it is not a country and will never be. We already lost 2 million in the last civil war so what's the difference. What has improved since the war? Are we not already at war? Go and tell the loved ones of those murdered by Boko yesterday that we're not t war and that there's blood shed. In case you didn't get that memo there is already North-orchestrated boko bloodshed. Just because you benefit from the current jungle doesn't mean you should forget all the boko victims and millions suffering badly. In the 50 years before GEJ what did all your "non-lame duck presidents" achieve? Stop infecting people with cowardice. FYI: I have travelled extensively in Europe including most of Eastern Europe. NOTE: I'm not from SE.
What have you succeeded in saying? Denying your flat head origin changes nothing! Is it boko haram that is also responsible for the incessant kidnaping and bloodshed that has characterise the whole of South East in 2011, 2012, and 2013? Your flat heads that keep shouting disintegration, when the time comes, you will be the first to run to the West, North and South with your red caps to start holding night meets. |
revolt: you just supported somebody that still insists the fuel subsidy must stay. I never knew there were still animals in put country that will still go to ojota again.....jeeeezI know you very intelligent not to realize that what subsidies are suppose to mean to the populace. Just because fuel subsidy in Nigeria has been mismanaged and abused does not mean it is in itself a bad economic policy. We all know that the true cost of fuel subsidy is less than N300bn, however, when GEJ came to power, that amount went high heaven to over N2.3trillion In a sensible government, fuel subsidy policy would be implemented such that virtually all the money would end up back into the government coffered and the masses will get fuel without much stress. Quote me anywhere, there is no one nation on this earth today that does not subsidy the fuel it's citizens uses. Different countries uses different measures. |
NTA is PDP national propaganda tv station nah! When Dora was the Minister for Information, there were signs that NTA was being repositioned but since the Lamb of a Maku got there, everything has gone to Stone Age ![]() |
taharqa: I think you sld be careful of what you say or how you make assertions in public. You remember how you were fooolishly arguing on that thread on the East-West Road, right? Do you remember what your main line of argument on that thread was (the main reason I called it fooolish)? Am sure you do remember how you recanted about 2 weeks later.Serial liar... How can a rail line undergoing rehabilitation at section 3 be moving trains phantom people with fantasy projects! Another on the spot evidence has burst the lies you and that cursed insincere9erian has been spewing on NL. Tell us what we do not yet know. The op has challenged you so provide pishure to prove Him wrong |
Mr Aboki: Na wah o!!Chei.. I thought I was the only one who these LG council projects . The jolts aka Jonathanians do not even know that NDDC is a commission set up by a status of governance and the only bearing the Federal executive have on it is the approval of the commissioners and representative as such, it funding is not vetted by the Presidency but by the NASS, just as the executive arm funding is vetted by the NASS.It is foolery to claim NDDC substandard projects are the works of the FG! This thread further vindicates Ameachi's position. Chei the OP is an exotic clown ![]() |
cashkid18:Abeg post me the pishure of the protest in onitsha with MASSOB carrying Isreali flag ![]() |
anonimi: Fortunately, you do not represent "most Nigerians".Is it you inglorious praise singer, aka the devils choir that now represent most Nigerians? |
. Well, without bloodshed Nigeria will go no where. We have already wasted 53 years. Let there war and lose 25 years, then at least the remnant can go separate ways, there will be less tribalism even if some of the resulting smaller states will have problems in first ten years. Enough of this cowardice that feeds the status quo.
There will be no blood shed! You human demons will be disappointed when a peace change of government will happen at the centre and you will begin to enjoy the true democratic dividends some states are beginning to enjoy now . Go and tell your Asari to prepare His mat, for His is going back to jail soonest! You keep screaming war, it is obvious you are a kid that knows next to nothing of what war is like. Maybe you need to visit former Yugoslavia or current Kosovo and your small brain will adjust very quickly. All that is required in Nigeria now is competent leadership that can use Her enormous wealth to develop the country. Not the glutton of a Lame duck President that is stealing left, right and centre. |
cap28: I hear what you are saying but a grass roots movement is the only hope for the Nigerian masses anything short of that will be a continuation of what you are seeing today.Tuned Bakare have said it all. GEJ is destined to loot Nigeria and bankrupt it, but God's grace has departed His abode and now the wind is blowing but He cannot detect the direction it is coming from. The truth is no amount of grass root movement will solve a thing unless you have people who have resolved in their hearts that come what may they are going to develop Nigeria regardless of whose head is crushed. We still people like that in Nigeria, but very few. I concur with you about the Labour movement, they are one rogue mole in the system. Innately corrupt to the bone and lack any sense of shame. I will never forget the fuel subsidy protest, how they betrayed Nigeria for a bowl of banga soup and catfish in Aso rock ![]() As for GEJ, he is a failed lecturer, failed politician, therefore He has no business governing the centre. Have you ever wonder why no student of His has proudly come forward to say they were once lectured by GEJ? You know what may follow that student for life.... ![]() |
kel4soft: Am not mincing words. It is a dump site. From Oyigbo - Eleme - Elelenwo - Woji - Oginigba - Elekaiah - D-Line - Diobu - Station Bustop. No visible work going on there. The above places are areas the lines cut through to the end of the station. I challenged anyone residing in PH to prove me wrong. Please do not waste your time on that known praise singer! They are paid daily to come here and spew rubbish of projects that are not in existence. Before 2011 we had Beaf and the useless omokiri who was His ghost. Nigerians know the truth and cannot be deceive by the criminals in power any longer. Since they have been touting train revival, have you heard of any foreign investors looking to invest in the train services? Have you head of any local investors also looking to do the same? That should tell you their phantom train revival is really at best phantom fantasies! |
We know Dan Orbih cannot come near Osadebe house until He is consumed soonest! If Oshiomhole was not servicing the debt left by PDP, I am sure He would have been in a position to borrow more to develop Edo from North to South! I am even surprise that the debt profile is that low. If a non productive state like cross River can borrow three times Edo State, then Edo that is one of the top 7 productive states in Nigeria revenue wise must be very prudent in managing her resources ![]() |
taharqa: Reali??Hehe you see your life? Truth is coming out from every quarters and the lies you people have being spewing on NL is dying a natural death Tomorrow you will still come and tell us that High speed trains are now carrying Jonathians from P/H to Abuja for Madam Piss rally ![]() |
emmydeep: For you a Yoruba calling the blessed Igbo nation foolish is an indication that you people are b.astards, fugitives and vagabonds. How dare you? Yorubas are cowards of the greatest order.Uzu bu bu clown personified! Tomorrow is already here for some countries, and for us it will be in less than ten hours... Nothing do Nigeria,we will remain one country and you. Guys will continue your drugs trade in Asia and be slaughtered like chicken in January 2014. Orji Kalu has told you people the real deal. You can't survive outside of Nigeria. You only hope is Nigeria so stick with it and continue to play second fiddle if you refused to up your game ![]() |

First go learn how to quote before opening your mouth to spew rubbish in public space..... ![]() |
nationwide1: How has GEJ polarized Nigeria along ethnic and religious lines? Those who say this don't have any evidence to back this statement. They say it because GEJ is a minority. Let's call spade by its name.Is GEJ the first minority to govern Nigeria? When will you people stop spewing this rubbish? The obvious truth is GEJ is eternally incompetent and He lacks what Nigeria requires to move forward. A man who cannot keep His house in order, how then can you make such a man the senior man of the community ![]() |
cap28: I am inclined to agree with Afenifere's statement because history indicates that Obj has always had some kind of link with the removal of heads of states that are no longer of any use to the people who placed them in office. Miraculously Obj always seems to escape the fate that many unwanted heads of states in third world countries meet with. There is no grass root movement in Nigeria, all of them are hungry people looking to fill their stomach! Why is it that after every election all the so called grass root movement fizzle away like rose under the scorching morning sun? No one prays for coup or war, but when a sitting President engage in wanton looting and wide spread corruption, no doubt a coup will follow whether civilian or military coup and that is what Nigeria is facing going into 2014. I have asked this question, had GEJ done the needful by provide adequate leadership and development across nigeria, do you think there will be any power struggle within PDP let alone the entire Nigeria polity? A man whose words cannot be trusted is a good as a criminal because He is an innate liar. Unfortunately, that is how GEJ is now being viewed both home and abroad. |
ENZO SCIFO: Men that talk before they think. My post on NL is few in all the 6 yrs 've been around.Do yourself a favour go check my post and if u are smart(which I doubt you are) you will realise that I can conveniently feed your clan for the next 5 yrs and more stout blinking. You are not worth more than the lace of GEJ shoes, so go and sit in one corner and weep for your own soul. I ask you again, have you eaten this morning? Answer yes or no ..... Lousy wooser ![]() |
okpara ugo: I'm not in a village incase you dont know and your frusration will soon eat you up. If GEJ decides to vacate his seat today, i'm sure, you nor your father nor someone from your village will occupy the number one sit. Summary: you will have nothing to gain. So keep on increasing your BP till you quench.I have told you, go back to the shed and start washing that Palm wine tapping bicycle. Is it not your mate that are celebrating the dead biafran in Malaysia It is not the seat you occupy in life that counts, it is the number of people you meet and change their lives positively that matters. That is why you flat heads do everything to high heaven to occupy a seat and then start oppressing your own people. Go and find out who Ahaz was in the bible, that is who GEJ is, and go and find out what happened to Ahaz, you will know exactly how GEJ will end. I have said it repeatedly on here and it is manifesting itself for real. |
bakynes: Whether OBJ's letter was intended to stage a coup or nt doesn't change the fact that all wat he said was true abt GEJ. Now the only problem of the letter was d man who wrote it, OBJ has no moral Justification to write such letter coz he himself didn't perform well as a president. This man called GEJ needs to know that our number one enemy in this country is Corruption and Tribalism, he needs to close his eyes and fight corruption coz he isn't doing that, he shd stop shielding corrupt ministers close to him he (Stella Oduah and Alison Madueke) nobody expects him to change Nigeria overnite bt do not add to the hardship of Nigerians (Fuel subsidy removal) on ground b4 just like Yaradua did nt make life more difficult for Nigerians, I know some of u will say did OBJ nt increase fuel prices severally bt remember GEJ is nt OBJ, the fact OBJ was a bad leader doesn't mean GEJ shd do d same. He also needs to respect the rule of law stop supporting 5 over 27 and 16 over 19. As bad as ObJ was he was democratic in most of his dealings,he shd stop sponsoring Militants over hardworking Nigerians, he shd caution his wife nt to get involved in politics.God bless you for this honest post. The inglorious praise singers will soon come down heavily on you for daring to say the truth! |
Ogbonaikenna: Toasting to the demise of theSee them..Association of druggies Biafra my foot. Ojukwu used you people to play politics, His wife and children are doing the same. The same Ojukwu ran for presidency in Nigeria. Does that not tell you how foolish you people have become? |
