The aim of this thread is to highlight the positive impact good governance in Edo vs. Delta States since the creation of the two states vis-a-viz the advent of democracy.

Delta state will never accept good politicians like Utomi that can move the state forward. Virtually every politician you have currently in Delta state is like Orubebe. They only care about their stomach and like to live in other peoples cities whilst their remain undeveloped.

stinggy: So fooolish of u to say! I'm a western and i served in Delta state(Sapele 2 b precise). My guy,Delta is a complete package- 4rm Warri to Asaba,to Ughelli, to Sapele, Oghara to Agbor... London to Benin is barely 9hrs of flight and less than £2800 premium so don't ask me when last I visited Nigeria. Like I told you, no need to derail this thread. When I have the time I will create a thread to compare Edo and Delta states in all ramifications.

Even your politicians book rooms in hotels in GRA in Benin for three straight nights to spend their weekends. I know of three to four permanent secretaries in Delta State that live in Edo State and commute to work in Asaba from Benin City. That ought yo tell you something about Delta state

Insofar people still dey ply Bob Izua or Agofure to Benin for their weekend life style and shopping and your state civil service personnel still have their children schooling in Edo State despite after several years of the two state having been separated, I would not compare Delta State to Edo in anything

If I may ask, why should a company like GLO still remains a limited company? Surely, if the company really wanted to expand while at the same time reducing Her risk exposure, going public will be one sure thing you would expect of the company. After all it is a company that has had a good brand name in and outside of Nigeria for a while now and you would expect they will capitalise on that brand name to rake in money from the public and expand sensibly.

If what the op has written down here is true, then I really feel sorry for Glo because staff dissatisfaction in a very competitive business is one sure way to bring down your company.

Hope someone in the Glo managerial hierarchy is reading this so that something is done ASAP.

Delta state needs to be saved from the hands of the dogs currently ravaging it. For a state that get x3 of what Edo State gets yet is still backward in virtually all aspects when compared to Edo state.

I hear Madam Piss aka Madam Lazarus has told Orubebe not to contest for Delta state election If true, then Delta have some hope.

As for Pat Utomi's ambition, He needs to follow Oshiomhole's blue print and get the backing of the ordinary Deltans. He needs to go to the villages now and sell Himself, else if He waits for last minute campaign by so called political big wigs, He will be in trouble.

Delta state politicians are hungry politicians who only care about their stomach so whoever brings the largest Ghana must go gets their support not the person with ideas of development or policies of growth

Dayoanku's model is what is obtainable in the US where a candidate wins all the electoral votes available in a state he wins.Former clinton VP Al gore won majority of votes cast in that election but lost the elections due to this system.

In Nigeria , we count on majority of votes cast and not states
