Rad1cal: Are you talking from experience ? No wonder you have been jumping from one thread or the other saying useless things.I would not grant you the attention you crave, your plainly inconsequential, and from your various post, you come across as a disgruntled element, and a social slack. Stay clear off my path ![]() |
okpara ugo: Electoral corruption was glorified in his days when opposition scores 2,000 and OBJ scores 2,000,000...Yes, like 9 is greater than 16? And 5 is greater than 21 Abeg go sit down dey clean your palm wine tapping bicycle for back of that shed ![]() |
ENZO SCIFO: @Omo_tier ; jmaine ;chukwudi 44Another born suffer head .. First go learn how to quote post on NL before dabbling into a discussion. By the way, you do chop today? |
patriotic007: Am not surprised that the issue of coup is coming up,....It would be very difficult to defeat GEJ in an election,....I have never seen any incubent president having the number of fans GEJ has,....have done my survey and out of every 4 people that follow politics,2 are his fans,...Even OBJ did not have this kind of grassroot surport before he won 2nd term,..If GEJ does not rig the elections, He is a toast come 2015. However, we know He is going to rig it with another advanced Microsoft excel macro spreadsheet, but this time around it won't work for Him. The so called fans you mentioned are mere wishy washy fantasy of you inglorious praise singers. Even the Okonjo Iweala polls that hitherto was the toast of you praise singers have now become something you people avoid because the handwriting from the last two polls was very clear. Support for GEJ is only found in ibo land and some parts of South South. I can guarantee you that if any other competent South South man or woman runs for the presidency, S/he will garner more votes than GEJ in a free and fair election. |
booblacain: but this man keeps trying to lay his bed and guys like you keep scarttering it.Yes, he keeps trying to lay his bed by greeting Nigerians with obnoxious policies every new year, right! It is obvious that some of you like suffering and you suffered in the womb 9 months before they gave birth to you, hence the reason you keep supporting and propping up mediocrities. A man who openly admitted that His government has been slow to hit the ground running despite having held sway an office for over 11 months, two years more down the line still has nothing concrete to measure with, how can you people still take such a man serious? Are the signs not really obvious for you lots that most sectors of the economy are only growing on paper? Imagine after spending nearly 3 years in office, a government faced with a jobless head count of nearly 48 million ( estimate) can still beat her chest that she created a mere 1.2 million jobs in 2012, for which we know they are phantoms jobs anyway. |
Zer0: Your ill conceived opinion does not represent that of the average Nigerian. You accuse GEJ of bigotry, yet laced your comment with ethnic sentiments. Saying that you are from the south south does not in any way mask your ignorance about the country you claim to know and love. Most of you fellow South South men often reason like reneged cowards! Even if other regions are smiling, we are the ones that ought to be weeping the most because there is nothing on ground in the region since GEJ became President when you compare the Dillion's that has accrued to His government. GEJ needed not be in favour with anyone except the masses who clearly would have been backing him up now that He has cut a coat bigger than his size. A wise man knows what battle to pick to win a war. I have at no time exonerated Obasanjo as a saint, however, like every government I have made good to highlight some of the good things He did while in office. Same will be said of GEJ when leaves in 2015. You never praise a man in office else He abuses His power. That is a no brainer in sane democracy, as people will always continue to set the bar high if you as a president refuse to do likewise. I am seriously disturbed by the continued denial by you ignoble praise singers on here on the ethnic and religious divide that have seriously manifested itself in the Nigerian political landscape in the past 3 years. It is the denial, I am sure must have prompted Obasanjo to send the letter He sent. It is wicked souls like you praise singers that have mislead GEJ and set him on a dangerous path. Now I ask you, do you think if GEJ steady the ship in His first two years in office by carrying out true development people can see some of these politicians who obviously are out to deal with GEJ would even raise their ugly heads? In democracy, it's performance without par that silences the opposition not noise making in the newspaper or going to churches to make political speeches about how you were raised By one mother or the other. You and I know that today an Hausa man is most likely to slit the throat of an ibo boy in Kaduna without thinking twice because the hatred and dislike has grown to a height op never seen before in Nigeria. this has been fuelled largely by the politics GEJ has been playing and his continued denial of what He did promise when He was campaigning in 2011. You and I know that today, Christians in the North leave in fear and are almost at the mercy of some persona non grata because GEJ and his government played politics with a very serious issue such as religious fundamentalism in 2010 & 2011. We cannot deny these realities on ground. Being honest and open about it will solve more problems and heal wounds that continuing in deceit. |
confusion247: Your post is an evidence that you didn't take your drugs .Prove me wrong by telling us the formal job Yinka has ever had in His life else keep quiet ![]() |
ckkris: HUNGARY MAN. You expect that in ONLY TWO YEARS, President Jonathan would restructure Nigeria, revamp infrastructures that Obasanjo damaged almost irreparably, establish level economic grounds for businesses to thrive, and begin to generate employments, so YOU CAN ENJOY NIGERIA. In just two years. They say the way a man lay his bed would determine how He would sleep on it. No one expected Him to restructure nigeria as we all know He did not possess that level of political intelligence, brevity and smartness to do so, though examples abound in the world where leaders have changed their nation in 18months for the good. Nonetheless Nigerians expected Him to do the needful by ensuring that some of sound economic reforms already put in place are strengthened, real terms development begin to take shape and His government lives and sleeps as the peoples government. Alas! What we are seeing is the complete opposite. I thought the stark revelations by Okonjo Iweala about the mere 1.6millions jobs was a good shot on oneself that clearly punctures your so called economic revamp claims on NL. Nigerians are tired of them ore you look the less you see. They want proper government and they want CHANGE! |
jmaine: Am wrong but you have failed at proving you correctness. I know you people have no brains, seeing you have fried yours by engaging in extreme hateful cynicism for no tangible reasons. What a nonsensical rant! I am sure you are one wrinkle of being who is already at the mercy of a native doctor! Is it any surprise that those of you baring your fangs today had no guts to confront the Turia's and the Anodakas when the kept GEJ hostage like a criminal who stole a cup of garri in Aso rock? You shameless ibo people, because of your belly have misled him to cliff hanger of a political disaster from day one. The same kill and divide rule he has being using against others have now turned against Him and that is why the PDP house of thieves is crumbling like Apple crumble in custard sauce. When Boko haram was killing innocent civilians, maiming Nigerians, instead of Him to confront the menace, He played the same kill and divide by sponsoring propaganda that certain named individuals were responsible. Today, Boko Haram has grown to become a monster, and is it any surprise that He no longer call Buhari as the sponsor of Boko Haram? Why? Because the reality has hit home that lies can never be enthroned for long. When the NGF election was to be held, did He not use the same kill and divide to try to thwart that group? Granted many of us think the group should not even exist in the first place in the correct democratic institutions were strongly in place, nonetheless, that did not warrant Him to try to break ranks illegally. When you have a look at His political appointments, the same pattern is what one would see. Hardly do you find that he appoints people based on merit or antecedents of good governance, instead, He always appoint people because He want to silent a particular group of persons or individual. A president that appointed a certificate forger as the chairman of a university governing council, a president that appointed Mazua to head a sensitive parastatal, is it such a man you would want to take seriously? |
Rad1cal: You are hallucinating, what did you take early this morning ?Do I look like your wretched hungry soul Or am I the one who could not afford to eat x3 yesternight and was opening His mouth for food in His dream? You better stay clear.... ![]() |

First go learn how to quote on NL before jumping into issues you have no clue about ![]() |
New crescent: Is this not the same Yinka Odumakin of Save Nigeria Group, now praise-worshipping the Presidency. The one threatening Fire and Brimstone during our struggle of 01.01.2013.Those of us who knew him very well closed our mouth because we knew exactly what will follow next. A man that has never had a proper job, has never been known to have worked in any capacity in a formal job, always hobnobbing with those in power. When did He begin to claim activist? Was it not after the Late Gani's travail? Have you ever heard the same Yinka challenged the LG chairman from the council He hails from? have you ever heard Him challenge the councillor, house of assembly members or even governor of His state? Why? Because they know his wardrobe and what is in it! He himself also knows He will never get mega billions contract from these lots. Charity they say begins at home... So why if truly He means good governance, would you not expect Him to start from His own home? |
jmaine: How does the quote mirror your "Kill and Divide rule" accusation. You are wrong! I know you people have short memory because you use your 256mb memory for praise singing. Azaziz was on his way out when crash happened. In fact, those in the known knew Dasuki was already doing His job before Azaziz died... Do not ask me further questions on this ![]() I know you may not be smart enough to understand what kill and divide rule is. GEJ has always appointed northerners in His cabinet. He has never shyed away from doing so, however, you have to look at the pattern of where and how He appoints them. Same goes fro His appointment in South South. If not for some reasons, I would have spilled a lot on Oruebebe's appointment and the cycle of in fighting between GEJ and Edwin Clark. I know most of you are only praise singing because of your stomach... You know very next to nothing what you are praise singing about unfortunately. Let me ask you this: Do you in your church mind seriously think Nigeria and Nigerians are ever as united today than they were four years ago? Be honest with yourself and tell the truth. |
omusiliyu: National conference is a must, afterall they've budgetted #7B for it, or can they avert the money back. 100lawyers cant make such money for 10years, is what some few people will make in few months... NAIGERIYAThe amount budget for it clears tells you it is a fraud to begin with! If people truly love nigeria, then let them sacrifice and come to that conference with their own belly! After all, when the committee went round Nigeria, were people paid to come submit their memorandum? Were there not lawyers in those gatherings? N7bn for group of inconsequential men and women to gather for things we already know, have been discussed and already have practical solutions proposed about is a monumental waste that characterize GEJ's government. To think that less than 10years ago Obasanjo held similar conference with less than N1bn and nothing came out of it, this same GEJ wants to spend x7 of that to hold his own. How about GEJ spending that N7bn to build two unity ultra merge schools in each zones of the country? I mean that would be something all eyes would see and hands would touch. This He could do within 18 months and Nigerians will forever thank him for it. GEJ has made governance like a dark art and voodoo science ![]() |
olas24u: Dont you think a national conference makes sense?Cant you read and understand the messages in the article very well.Every sane Nigerian who is not hungry have made it clear: WE DO NOT NEED ANY NATIONAL CONFERENCE! The stu.pidity of most of the youth is that they think these gluttons of leaders care a jolt about their existence! The so called national conference is a civil way for those who want to be in command and control to wrestle power from those who they think currently hold it. We do not need national conference to build super highways We do not need national conference to build next generation model schools and university We do not need national conference to build super grids and electricity generating station all over a Nigeria An Edo man knows too well the things that hurts an ibo man, so when dealing with Him He is careful not to cross that boundary. Same goes for other tribes. So what exactly is the so called national conference going achieve? Will national conference solve the incessant fight between the itsekiri and Urhobos? Will it solve the lingering war between the binis and the Ijaws? Will the national conference solve the war between the Ezillos and Ezallas or how are they spelt again? Most of you like to ignore the battle raging at home and start casting aspersions abroad. What Nigeria need now is a purposeful, corrupt free and development focused government at all levels of governance in a Nigeria not another jamboree of white papers that amounts to nothing? |
Mexyz: @Omo_Tier, pls speak for yourself, i am also frm the south south. If the northerners or westerners think Gej can't rule them, let them plan the coup well and lets see how it pans out. I don't really understand your unnecessary ranting here.Stop reasoning like a child, this is not about north or west! It is about incompetence. Simple. Those of us that knew GEJ when He was deputy governor knows why He was kept in the dark by the woman wrapper thief governor who was His boss then. FYI, we have had a South South person rule a Nigeria albeit for a few days in the person of August Akhioumo when He was VP, so stop spewing rubbish about North or South West not wanting a Him to rule over them. Learn to keep up with history ok. |
jmaine: Most of what you raised are easily debatable, but it will only lead to a derailment of the thread. But it might please you to not make bold claims like the highlighted you can't defend.Tell me, what or how do you address a president who goes to a section of the country and tell them that they are the backbone of His government? How do you address a president who makes appointments to spike diverse groups? Or do you think we have forgotten Azaziz replacement sooner? It is obvious to any keen political observe in Nigeria that GEJ has been using the kill and divide tactics to rule Nigeria, by planting moles to break ranks and cause disarray where there was none hitherto. Even we the South South people hardly get such a comment from Mr President! Any wonder why it appears that it is only the Ijaws and ibos that are raising their voices for GEJ? Ever asked yourself why other major tribes in South South are mute and watching? |
Passing Shot: This is the real difference between the Yorubas and the other segements of the country - not minding calling their own to order irrespective of his/her status in the society. Afenifere or any other socio-political group in the SW will not support OBJ's letter for whatever reason. Yes, some may allign with the General individually but as a collective entity, the Yorubas will not support what is morally wrong.Yinka' scary is not about patriotism, it is for his billion contract from Presidency! We know Yinka is an hungry man, He hobnob with anyone in power and that is how age feeds Himself and family. Has Yinka ever had any decent job like working in a bank, ministry or own His own business? Have you asked about his antecedent during the military era and even in the early days of democracy Some of you are child of this morning His, hence you swallow what ever any tom and silvanus says! |
Sincere 9gerian: A Nlander made similar postulations on the issue of OBJ's letter but the thread was deleted by Seun. Now a press release from SR has made front page. Why does NL treat exclusive works of members with so much disdain? Nonsense!Your thread was making spurious allegations with named individuals with baseless grounds. Like you,Yinka we know is doing the bidding of the Presidency. Or do you people think we have forgotten how this same Yinka took contracts to print the campaign poster of Omisore ![]() |
victorazy: All these Yoruba fools! See wetin human being dey think, if motor jam u for road today now they will be pitying u not knowing how stupid u r.You are too inconsequential in a discuss like this to be addressed. Go and look for how you will eat this afternoon. |
jmaine: Why are you so desperate for a coup to take place yet masked it by saying you do not wish for one.You did not need a soothsayer to tell you the signs are all over the wall. Every coup that has taken place in a democratic settings have always followed a similar pattern, if only you bother to read local and international histories. I have repeatedly said, I do not want coup to oust GEJ, because those planning to coup are doing so for their bellies in the disguise of saving a Nigeria. We know that and are not blind to it. However, GEJ has left the average Nigerian with very soured taste and bitter pills, especially those of us from the South South. For two years running, GEJ, a PhD holder cannot put together a sensible budget that makes sense, continue to make spurious utterances, employ kill and divide tactics to govern. Why would I have pity for such an inept leader? GEJ had the peoples will to crush the old guards after the elections. The atmosphere was ripe for it, the people were looking forward to it. And what did they get in return? First fuel subsidy, then appointment of Tony Annenih, the the list of darkness continues. |
Rad1cal: What is this one saying. ? Na you wan wear the khaki uniform.Hehe.. San San go soon clear for unah eye. Once the last man and woman sing that paper, just like PDP crumble like cheese cake, nah so unah eye to come clear ..... .Vast majority of Nigerians are tired of GEJ and those who will plan the coup will exploit that to the maximum. Like I said, I want GEJ to complete His tenure and be disgraced at the polls, however, the rate at which He is polarizing Nigeria, creating ethnic and religious tension may mean He may yet end up like Shagari ![]() |
taharqa: Does this IJIOT know who Yinka Odumakin is? Or, is he confusing him with anoda person??Will keep quiet there? Who and when were you born that you are to tell me the antecedents of Yinka Odumakin? You think everyone has short memory as you simpletons? After all is He not a praise singer like your self that is looking for food day after day from those in the corridors of power? |
chukwudi44: Why don't you wait for them to take over before gloating!! I thought you idiots were so sure of winning in 2015.obviously you have already seen the handwriting on the wall hence your desperate movesHehe.. Why then are you people panicking when a mofo like Yinka is spewing the rubbish He is known for these days because He wants some contracts like Fasheun ? Like I told you, once the coup takes place, GEJ will chicken out, He will be locked up under house arrest and nothing will happen in Nigeria. Elections will be held peacefully the following year and a new president will emerge. Though I want GEJ to complete His tenure and be disgraced by 2015 at the polls, it is obvious not everyone is as patient as I am. |
luvinhubby: I thought they said you are a Yoruba man or have you switched nationality. So you too have damaged brain cells? I am full bini boy true and true... Oba no dey go transfer! Yinka Odumakin is a nonentity that has never had any formal job since leaving school. He has been challenged severally to provide His resume for us to examine, and for Him to tell us where He ever worked and His means of livelihood but all to no avail. Afenifere is a clown of a group no one listens to any more. Though not a Yoruba, it is obvious to any sane political observer in Nigeria that Afenifere died with the death of AD following their ignoble romance with Obasanjo that saw them loose control of the South West and allowed incompetent mofos to draw that region back to the Stone Age. |
chukwudi44: Mumu continue fooling yourself.BTW I hope d SSS members online are looking @ ur moniker and IP address for necessary action.I am sure once the boys take over, you got sharp sharp delete your handle for Nairaland. Your SSS is a donfo... Do they even know how to detonate bombs talkless of tracking IP address? FYI, my moniker dey kampe... I go even give you my house address for a Benin City.... If your head correct, come close ...ye ye people. |
icon aus: u got it wrong . Nigeria has been like this only that some regions dont mind much who was the president - when the north and partly the west were in control the country was relatively at peace but now GEJ from south south is in control and is trying to re structure the country in a more equitable way there comes an opposition who believe that they own this country - they continue to align along ethnic line north -west axis then GEJ feels threatened . The north/west polarized the Nigeria more not GEJThis is what they have been fooling you people with. GEJ restricting the country and Patience Jonathan is building a N1bn hotel.. Ye right, I really know how intelligent you are ![]() Who made GEJ president? Was it by any act of our South. South elders? How many of the elders from South South voiced out when GEJ was locked in Turia's kitchen? Was Uduaghan not galavanting Aso rock dancing Etighie before Madam Turia when PEJ was asked to boil beans for guest in Aso rock? Where were the South East red caps chiefs? Were they not all silent and secretly lodging in hotels in Abuja to go collect their Ghana must go? Ye ye dey smell... |
chukwudi44: Olodo the army is no longer what it used to be.You morons have lost control of the army and the probability of a successful coup in nigeria again is zerro as the army will be factionalised in the process and lead to civil warSan San go soon clear for una eye! Nigeria army has not changed. A coup today though I do not pray and ask for one will see all the old generals take their seat at the dinning table. You inconsequential mofos will be used to wipe the floor if you dare make any noise. The oil money will be shared amongst your Igbo king makers and they will organize 30million man mile match again ![]() |
solomon111: There's nothing any president can do to asari as long as there's no proof of crime..That was how you people boasted and He was locked up and He started crying like a woman in jail. I am sure He is already preparing for exile because come 2015, He will return back to jail where He belongs for real. A societal nuisance has no business occupying same space as peace loving Nigerians.... ![]() |
Who takes the ugly created Ota baboo serious this day?
Wait until you hear NTA singing the national anthem and one man with kaki uniform is addressing you before you know say jungle don dey mature. Asari knows His days are numbered... Obasanjo will not glorify Him with a response, instead, Him university for Benin Republic go catch fire.. nah that time him eye go clear... |
aanumama: All na thieving scheme, but the last paragraph got my attention, why would nigeria immigration renovate police and army barracksActually, the immigration service do have their own police, perhaps that is the barracks they want to renovate.... Criminality no get shame for nigeria now... ![]() |
Shey una dey see mad man? What do need a BRT lane in delta that is always empty week in week out? Where in Asaba, Warri, Sapele,Agbor, or Ughelli is congested that a BRT lane is now what Delta needs? People should tell Uduaghan to go and construct the road leading to Bomadi and connect Delta State polytechnic to warri by single stretch of road. Him mumu don do ![]() |
