What is your view Nairalanders on these heroic entertainers of Naija music industry, especially in the genres of pop and rnb? These are the top ten:
1. Paul Play- Play was the best thing ever that never happened to Africa music at large. He was the African Prince.
2. 2 Face Indibia- Highly respected music force in West Africa and the South. For a deep hindsigh in RnB, Mr Indibia started the trend of modern Afropop. He is our Ray Charlse.
3. Styl Plus- I personally rate this ballad group next to Paul Play for their melodic rnb tune, very similar to Boyz 2 Men. Nigerians prefer mediocre club vibes with silly beats, hence the group's demise.
4. Sunny Nneji- Actually, we can't leave Oruka out of this.
5. P square- In African music as a whole, history can NEVER be complete without this twins. These MJ-USHER wannabes have founded their way into the dear hearts of many Africans and even beyound for their heavy choreography display and catchy pop tunes. They are surely titans of Modern African pop.
6. Asa
CelebritiesUsher Or Rkelly- Whose Music Is More Evergreen, And Who Is More Famous by OmoUSH(op): 11:28pm On Nov 01, 2013
Seems the Usher vs Kelly thing is still regning in many parts of the earth. I vouch for Ush anyday as the ultimate GOD of RnB and Soul. Anyway, I just wants to use this opportunity to see opinions on whose music will last more on earth between the two rnb world legends. And who is more globally known?

CelebritiesMj Or Usher- Who Influenced Other Musicians The Most Universally? by OmoUSH(op): 11:19pm On Nov 01, 2013
Michael Jackson was truelly a music legend. His influence, not only in music, is extra-broad. Mj did really set the stage for almost all black musicians of future generations. Globally, the artistes he inspired are countless. Some of the prominent figures are Bobby Brown, Usher, Rkelly, Mc Hammer, Destiny's Child, Justin Timberlake, Boyz 2 Men, Jodeci, Bobby Vinton, Mary J Blirge, and host of others.
Well, Usher, took direct inspiration from Marvin Garye, Prince, Sam Cooke, James Brown and Michael Jackson's showmanships. Usher was to be the musician who would, with his own unique style apart from his inspirations, create the type of music and musical videos that artists of the late 20th and all of the 21st centuries would stand. With a creative combo of Prince, Marvin Garye, James Brown and Jackson plus his very own signature, the pretty young man was unarguably the leader of his generation. In the early 21st century, many new Ushers emerged in the likes of Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Omarion, Mario, Bobby Valentino, Marques Houston, Trey Songz, Prince Royce & cos. In interviews with local musicians all over the world, Usher has been professed as ultimate inspiration. But one fact is, he remains the most UNDER-APPRECIATED, and undervalued musician in whole of music history. For instance, Chris Brown was shot to fame after performing like Usher in My Way.
Ush redefined Motown's greats styles and started the tone of music the world would follow thereafter.

But, between the two, who inspired both local and international artists most??
Music/RadioJustin Beiber Is Now Officially The King Of Pop by OmoUSH(op):
What on earth will Jtstin Beiber not accomplish? Well, again, Beibs' 2010 single BABY is now the best selling song of all time according to Billboard. The single has sold over 12 million digital copies in US alone, and now makes history as the only song ever to be certified 12x platinum. Elton John's 1997's Candle In The Wind bye bye. Justin Beiber reigns supreme as the undisputable King Of Pop. Say congrats to him, Nairalanders and Seun

Tragedy struck! A young married woman with two kids, 4 and 1 respectively, was returning from pickin the elder in schl across a floodful river filled with all manner of crude stones, backing the younger. She was on top of one stone in the middle of the heavily flowing river when she began to feel so dizzy. Before a wink of an eye she lost control as the elder child fell into the water, and like a flash, was gone! In total panic and confusion, her two legs quake and the baby on her back fell into the mighty torrent and rapidly flowed away. In an attempt to do smthing she dive into the river, and was also enjoying the ride into oblivion when she was rescued by passers by. The most funny aspect is that the corpses of her kids are unfounded till now. Tragedious, isn't it??

Music/RadioAdele vs Alicia Keys- Who Is the Greatest by OmoUSH(op):
With Adele's craze all over the world one would even think that she is now greater than female music gods like Madonna, celine Dion, Mariah Carey and others. 21 album did knocked of MJ's thriller as the best selling album of all time in the UK and other parts of Europe.
But between rnb princess Alicia Keys and Adele, who is the better in your own eyes..
CelebritiesPhoto: He Deserves It- The Usher Raymond Parkway by OmoUSH(op): 2:20pm On Oct 16, 2013
For much of the late 90s and 2000s decade, Usher Raymond was the unstoppable force in popular music. Usher had gat no serious contender in pop for years except for Justin Timberlake, and his music son, Justin Beiber. Infact, Beiber is his only serious rival right now. Beleive actually knocked off Looking For Myself from d number 1 spot last year. In the RnB world Usher's most dangerous rival, R Kelly, has almost faded into oblivion. So, who is left standing? When he collected number one with OMG in 2010, Usher became the first 2010s artist to have nine number 1 songs on the Billboard hot 100. With OMG, he also joins the rank of Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Beatles, Michael Jackson, Bee Gees, Madonna and Mariah Carey in being the only artist to have nine top songs in 3 consecutive decades. In presenting the prestigious Ascap Golden Note Award to him in 2012, the governing committee comented enthusiastically, "for over two decades the world has moved with his music".
Usher, like his influencer, MJ, is imitated all across the globe from earliest time. He has inspired millions. "I so much revere Usher. He is the definition of modern pop", said his other protegee, Chris Brown. Paul McCartney of the legendary Beetles said Usher influences his new album.
Usher has a main road in America named after him, THE USHER RAYMOND PARKWAY, and a precious Star On The Hollywood Walk of Fame to cement his legacy on the entertainment world forever.

The great Late James Brown once heralded him as the GODSON OF SOUL.
Kendrick Lamar when recently asked in an interview why he referenced Usher in his hit song in 2012 said, "He is a cultural icon and a world music deity, even if he no longer moves as before".

Drake once said, "Hehehe, Ush's tone gave my whole career a better line".
Jay Z recently mused, "I know MJ can't be replaced, and Ush may not be as globally relevant, but dude, that man is an ultimate rnb and pop icon. I learned from him too".
Mj once said to him in 1999: Thank u Usher. What u do is not easy too, the singing and dancing. Few do it. U are different, Usher./
Usher's downturn in rnb left the genre dead, as OMG started the Europop bandwaggon. No artist in history has been as daring, sincere and risky as Usher. There is no artist of his generation that has archeived his level of greatness. No musician in world history had been so underappreciated. Tameka dealt a disastrous blow to his life and career. Despite these, Ush's legacies will remain long long after he is gone.

Here is the map of the Usher Raymond parkway in Chattanooga, United States

Music/RadioRe: Nigerian Artistes Don't Know The Meaning Of Live Performance. by OmoUSH(m): 10:53pm On Oct 15, 2013
When i said that Beiber is far greater than Fela, and all African musicians in history combined, many ignorant bigots and dunderheads did not hesitate a bit to nail me. Now u c for yourselves. To all reasonable people in this continent, African musicians are totally useless and trashy. None can sing except with d aid of Vocoder. Their live performances always show how totally talentless and giftless they are. Little wonder they are hardly known beyound their continent. JB is far greater than all African entertainers of all time, COMBINED.
