mens dept: We heard this in 1999, then 2003, even 2007, that Igbo should focus on this and that. Yet today, Igboland is devoid of Int'l Airport, Seaport, Steel Factory, 2nd Niger Bridge, etc.
Nonsense, but then again, Nwodo is enjoying, so he'll say anything to retain the crumbs ~Bluetooth: This is a total absurd to the igbo folks.why should they step down for jonathan ? Since the race is open to everybody due to jonathan's stu.pidity to contest by all means out of greed thereby causing further ethnic disunity among nigerians, then igbo, yoruba, hausa and others should contest with him if he cant respect the rotational presidency idea. I like the Igbo unity it really lets you see the fear and hate come out of the other tribes (Bluetooth and Mens Department), Clearly bluetooth doesnt care about how the Igbos are treated he just hates the fact that they are reaching common ground. And no the race is not open up 2 Igbos, they've made an agreement and THAT IS FINAL! The Igbo will be more powerful from here on. @ Mens Dep't specifically all that u've sed that is devoid in Igboland is the same way in Yorubaland too lol, And after your 1993 incident( tear, tear) and the the destruction which came from your own in 1999, Yet today your people are still DEVOID KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK IGBOS! |

Of course the police lied. they are involved to make nigeria an islamic state. Notice how the judge keeps letting these suspect boko haram members out on bail, like around a hundred of them were let go.can u tell me that a judge would let out suspected terrorizers of his country unless he his in agreement with there movement? The judge is about to let another one out, a lady caught in the act of making a bomb during the crisis. he saying that there is not enough evidence!!!!! And all this is happening just be4 the dead bastards anniversary, hmmm wut a coincidence. DOES GOODLUCK JONATHAN NOT READ THE NEWSPAPER? Onlytruth: While observing the body language of Igbo politicians these days, I must say that they have improved in many ways. For starters, they are mainly calm and working in the background, which is why the PDP chairmanship thing came and passed without much noise about it. When Ralph Uwechue ascended the Ohanaeze presidency, one of his biggest criticism of Igbo politicians was that they talked too much and bickered openly. He frowned at it and recommended a rather quiet, subtle and behind the scenes approach to politicking in Nigeria. He was right. That is why it is incorrect to interpret Igbo lack of noise on the political scene as a sign of lack of direction. You have to admit the alot of what mens department said is true.all you can do is take it as constructive criticism. however, afenifere is IRRELEVANT. they talk talk talk but no show. Noone listens to them in society.what have they done for their people that was major successful that everyone knows about? Hands down ohaneze has more recognition and power than afenifere. They had the so-called yoruba elite get together to try to come up with away to ehance yoruba autonomy but what happened?? It fell apart because of bickering and jealously. The yorubas fighting each other physically and killing each other. Its sad that one cannot come back to their village because of jealousy. Its sad that a people like the yoruba completely on the preciousness of his brothers life. Ibadan and Lagos have to be the most crowed polluted place ive been to. It disgusting. so please mens Dept clean your own backyard before you worry about anothers. All of the hard work awolowo put in for his people amounted to nothing. he even stole the money of igbos during the war to feed himself and sprinkle sum to his people but look now a people which land was torn by war have thee highest rate of money per capa, score the highest in education.isnt that sad for the yoruba? either the igbos are superhuman or yall are just too slow As far as Igbos in the rotational stuff, forget it and focus on cleaning up your own house. You need not enter into anymore agreement that are not amongst yourselves. Voting for a northerner aint goin to get u presidency in 2015. Yorubas better not vote for IBB cuz he hates yall with a passion, hes ok with Igbos well at lease better than with yoruba. If he wen expect ur land to be occupied by soldiers |

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2010/06/21/2011-we-can-win-without-zoning-say-northern-leaders/
Folks,
This claim by the North sounds somewhat arrogant. But I have two important questions to ask.
1. Can the South win any presidential election against the North in a free and fair contest? 2. Can the North win against the South without rigging from any zone?
These are the same question asked from two different angles. thanks. In a free and fair contest if the south has unity they would win being that the south has the highest population and also their are millions of southerners in the north. without rigging(yaradua) or coups the North would never have had presidency. |

Justcash: You are indeed a waste of space. Ohaneze is the Arewa CF and Afenifere of the Igbos. Our leaders respect and listen to them more than the government. In terms of political relevance, after the socio-cultural groups comes the political parties even before the government. The government in Nigeria is very irrelevant without their surpport. Going by your assertion, Afenifere is also not powerful! You are a slowpoke! Is it? Dint you learn anything about the political structure of the socio-cultural entities that make up Nigeria? Don't you know that Igbos are more decentralised than the Yorubas and hausas? Does that not tell you that Igbos are less despotic and structured in their Political system and views? Does being decentralised mean being irrelevant? Don't worry, your belief will make people like you to test the collective resolve of Igbos, then you will have no choice but to believe that an organisation like Ohaneze ndi' Igbo is influential to Igbos despite our differences in view. Go and do your research well.
Out of everything you read, that was the one that you understood? You are a typical example of what I am talking about. A pretentious tribalist!
Does an Igbo have to be the president, the Vice, or Senate President, or Speaker, or Secretary to The Federation for Nigeria to develop? With what you said above, do you think you are being Nigerian or your tribes man? You are indeed a nonentity! It is people like you that kills my urge of trying to be a non-tribalistic Nigerian. How can I be a Non-tribalist with you mocking my own people at every opportunity you have.
Igbos Nigerianized? Hahahahahahahahahahahaha! You made me to laugh in TIV. You know nothing with your dysfunctional brain.
Anyway, Igbos don't care anymore. We'll dance along with the "Farce" of a country until it is no more. This could not have been said any better, WELL DONE! |

sjeezy8: ^^^ Once again you make no sense . . . .
There should be fiscal federalism- not rotational presidency so your argument of national wealth by the owner is BS and doesnt even make sense.
Jonathan should contest to become president because hes already there in the presidents seat not because hes an ijaw or "the owner of the nations wealth".
Federalism will put to the death all the calls of presidency from clowns around the sountry who think because they are from the ND or East they should be president.
I pray for federalism - Amen so all regions can do their own thing and people not feel they are owed the presidency. I hear you, federalism is good;however, sum in the north want Arewa Republic, Yorubas want Oduduwa Republic, Igbo want Biafra Republic, and The ND want their own country as well. What harm would it cause if each of those parts go their own way but still have friendly trade amongst each others as they would to other African countries? |

Kobojunkie: How did Jonathan get TWO REMAINING TERMS ? Who gave it to him? How did you work this one out for the Nigerian people? I really want to know how anyone can out of thing air CREATE TWO ADDITIONAL TERMS for Jonathan and essentially SWITCH from ROTATIONAL to ARBITRARY system for the PDP and WORSE, for the Nigerian people. lol First of all who are you to question what he said? Since when did the "Nigerian People" come up with the rotational system? |

olas2u: The igbos are not organised,One had expected there support to to the current administration, but some are being used already.Orji kalu,s sunnewspaper is the propaganda machine for the north. How can intelligent ,industrious ,enterprising people be supporting backward and unintelligent never dowells ,who ruined Nigeria and which affects everybody. EzeUche: There will never be equality in the political scene. Some Igbos are seriously misguided. There will never be an Igbo president in a million years as long as we stay in this union. They will continue to promise the Igbo the presidency yet they will not do anything. They rather choose a minority than an Igbo. silly Igbos who think they are Nigerian. You both are correct. The main thing is that Igbos( as a whole not individually) have become cowards. You can count on an Igbo these days definitely to talk but hes not going to do shit and thats a fact. All they care about is copping money not of there people. while the north is planning to put you in slavery, they just stand there watch and beat on their chest "I'M AN IGBO MAN" so what? what can you do? NOTHING! When other tribes are slaughtering you people with the exception of the warrior Igbos in onitsha, are you do is turn away and say "Jesus will make it better, he will save us" well reality check your Jesus is not going to save you! you've been saying that for how many years and Igbos are satill in the say position. You gotta fight. God helps those who help themselves. it says it in the Bible. Keep fooling urselfs and remain slaves and errand boys. And as far as Igbo elites Bleep them too. They rather help the north complete their agenda instead of the Igbos completing their own. Look at these people campaigning for these same northerners( oh yeah and you best believe they fought in the civil war too ) who massacred your people, raped ur females, IBB and those other bastards were those same soldiers doing the raping and killing and Igbos have to have a second thought of whether he should vote for one of those northerners?? are you serious??!!!!!! |

Guyman02: Dan Bazau is a tribalist. I was disqualified from NDA interview by him when he was the selection board Secretary without reason because I am from Abia State. As a young 18 year old then, I wept that day in NDA Kaduna for the discrimination I suffered and asked myself if it was still worth it to be a Nigeria. I was the highest in the score sheet for obstacle crossing and other activities. He is not fit to be the COAS of Nigeria. Look at what he is doing to the Berom people of Jos through Gen Maina Fight for your people (Igbos). theres no such thing as fighting for nigeria through a military that discriminates because "you are nigeria" but they dont like u so they are not fighting for you period. Let those greedy bastards have their military. One day they all will be killed one by one. MEND alone put them to shame. Look at when they went to sierra leone during the war. If you seen how many of them were killed in a week u wouldnt believe it. what Igbos need is militants like wut MEND is, not necessarily an army, even if ur not as equipped enough as them that isnt a problem nigerian army can be defeated by guerilla warfare. After the election we'll see if the northerners try sum type of military coup and try to oppress the southerners or put IBB into power unfairly you will see the uniting us MEND,OPC, MASSOB(armed) and new members from each coming in daily. let them keep agitating for anarchy they will soon get it |

frosbel: With the economic collapse of small countries like Spain, Greece and Italy, the boomerang could impede growth and severely damage the big economies of Britain, Germany and France.
This is a dangerous and unprecedented situation which could quite easily plunge Europe back to the ' middle ages '.
Is it not the perfect timing for NIDs to start making serious plans to have a back out plan in case the ship does sink?
What do you think? Thats their business in europe. who cares.I doesnt concern us in Africa. Its because of them we are suffering now, so let them get a taste of suffering too. We as africans need to take advantage of this and start manipulating and building. All those european countries get the resources from us so they need us not them. If nigeria doesnt have a resource we can get it from cameroon, if cameroon is in need of a resource they can call up ethiopia, if ghana doesnt have a resource they can call up senegal. get it? |
