for now govt provision of infrasture (stadium) while a private/partnership( community ownership) be advocated for. It is very appalling dat a state like anambra has no standard stadium. Also bear in mind dat from next match Gabros might be moved to Enugu due to lack of a standard playing turf and dis might affect their result!

human skulls and the rifles in one bag kept it in the wardrobe.
When he arrived at the reception before lodging, he gave his name
as John Obi, and during the investigation, it turned out to be one
Olisa Egbuchiem, a street boy from Umudie village, Onitsha.


“Three things led to this problem and it started from my refused to
sell my property which Peter Obi wanted to buy for his bank,
Fidelity Bank. There is also political rivalry between my brother,
Chief Gregory Mokwe and Mr. Peter Obi, and lastly, the former
Governor yielded to the bidding of Onitsha natives; without
mincing word, the former Governor will not hesitate to crush
whoever that may want to stand on the way of Onitsha natives.
These and many more were the factors that led to my set-up and
the demolition of my hotel building by Peter Obi”, he narrated.

Similarly, Chief Bonaventure Mokwe, with tears rolling down his
cheeks accused the Special Anti-Robbery Squard (SARS) at
Awkuzu of arresting and torturing him without proper
investigation.
“I was taken to an open hall and one Mr. James Nwafor, the officer
in charge reassigned the case and torture commenced on me. My
trousers were taken off me and I was handcuffed to a weightlifting
contraption next to the wall. The trousers were wrapped across
my necks and tied me to a rope, then they started pulling both
ends of the trousers.

The project is not FG's project. FG came into the party when the preparation for the party was almost over. It's a private initiative of a silent couple Mr&Mrs Jadesimi with the buy in of investors and Lagos state Government.

FG came on board when it saw the viability.

Therefore, FG does not have any control over the project. The likes of Tompolo, Boyloaf, Dokubo should use all the billions they are collecting to set up such yards on their lands, instead of investing their funds in.other countries, as it's the case.

YES, If Nnewi and Bonny can run and sustain itself without external help then it can be called a city. because it can easily provide any amount of infrastructure it so desires with its own output! Stop deceiving yourself. Yes, Awka is the fastest developing city East of the Niger with Dubai like flyovers springing..never seen elsewhere in Naija except maybe Uyo. Owerre of over 30yrs is not livable because of the menace of prostitution in the town coupled with insecurity, abandoned or non existent infrastructures it has seen in the last 4yrs. Owerre is in the class of Nnewi because they are the only two cities I can compare when it comes the size of the economy and population.

Nnewi is more economically viable and creates industrial jobs for graduates than Owerre. Nnewi has an economy twice the size of Owerre, tell me why Nnewi cannot pass for a state capital elsewhere?

If not that Awka was made a State capital it should have been in same grade as Nnewi, Nsukka and Orlu. Aba is down on the list because of bad leadership. If the next government invests in roads, Aba will climb to 3rd after Enugu and Owerri displacing Onitsha. Owerri should have been 1st if not for Ohakims wasted 4 years which Chime used well thereby putting Enugu 4 years ahead of Owerri. If the next Enugu governor slacks a bit, I see Owerri emerging tops by 2019.

The university is among the best in Nigerian states universities. Though its still under going construction with beautiful edifices springing up.

Yes, the fees are high in line with state universities but good and quality education comes with a price. You cannot get a quality education free.

No wonder Anambra is and will continue to lead the rest of Nigeria in every facet of development and human capital development.

Onitsha has a 5 star hotel with a conference center(Raddison Blu). Anambra has the best mass transit system (transportation). Onitsha has 2 stadia. Onitsha has a Port facility, Onitsha has an industrial estates (jobs). Onitsha has 10 lanes super highways. Onitsha attracts more people to it thrice more than Enugu. Onitsha has more banks thrice than enugu. A lot of things makes a city. All these enugu has none of it. Stop hyping enugu because its just an empty town filled with poor people mostly under paid civil servants.

Onitsha has an economy thrice bigger than that of Enugu. Onitsha has thrice iconic buildings both residential/commercial more than enugu. Onitsha has two stadia and Anambra international Cargo/Passenger Airport is under construction that will serve the 3 major cities of the state.

The next thing you will say is that enugu has a mall, but I will remind you that Anambra has 3 malls under construction.

Onitsha mall will open in August/September followed by Awka in December and Nnewi follows accordingly. The fact is that we are building a whole state simultaneously without concentrating in one area like you guys, which by all estimations is not real development because its not spread. .
