As per the case you digged out, it was a wrong comparism....not similar at all. The guy I was referring to in that thread was actually insulting someone, and I responded based on the insult. But berem merely made her views and opinion without insulting anyone.

I agree with you that they should get rid of Igbo names, culture and language and create their actual own, instead of remodify others stuff. Unfortunately like I said, they are an embarrassment for a reason. What can a person do, we share the same state with them and are lumped with them by delta governor. They are just a show of shame to be honest. Ask any anioma and he or she will tell you the same. It is sad too because people dragg all anioma and believe we are like those ilks because despite the despite the deniers are minority, they are unfortunately the most vocal. When we used to live in onitsha, I recall anytime we tell someone we are from delta igbo region, they give us this f2ked up look, snare at us and automatically ask "are you those that say they are Igbo or not". Knowing how ethnocentric onitsha people are, I suspected they found anioma despicably. I got my answer on this website actually. I recall when one member posted the manifest for anioma state and onitsha people insulted it because they were included. Some even went to the extent of saying "we are not them ooo". Some said they don't want to share the same land/state with anioma people because they don't wake up arguing with others about whether someone is Igbo or not or waking up seeing ther children saying they are not Igbo. It was really embarrassing watching the set of SE Igbo I believe we have the most common with, migration history included, saying that shit. It shows a perso how they f2king view anioma and their view is not pretty. Now if onitsha see us this way, I wonder how the rest sees us. SMH. The deniers are a shame and f2king embarrassing. The problem with SE Igbo from what I've observed at least on this forum is that You all listen to everything told to you, no question asked. I knew about the ika history on Biafra when I was a little kid and it is sad that SE don't even know. One part of my mind, observing SE members on NL, tells me other than Asaba massacre, I don't think una know anything about anioma fights during Biafra war. Anyway, Unfortunately, ika soldiers were the highest among delta Igbo that fought for Biafra and that's because prior to Biafra war, the highest mid west soldiers were from ika. Asaba, ibusa, etc soldiers switched too but our population in the military prior to Biafra weren't as high as ika people.
