Christianity EtcRe: Mothering Sunday Or Mother's Sunday? by OneNigerianist: 12:10pm On Mar 26, 2017
HenryQuest:
Both are correct. It is ignorance and lack of knowledge that make some people correct those that use "mothering" instead of mother in the phrase. Mothering here has two meanings according to the dictionary.

1. the nurturing of an infant or small child by its mother .

2. (in rural England) the custom of visiting one's parents on Laetare Sunday with a present.

Relating it to the celebration, it is a day set aside to celebrate the act of nurturing infants and to give gifts and honour to mothers in recognition of their numerous sacrifices to their children.
i am happy you ackowledge many make the corrections, therefore all of them cant be ignorant as you said. Mothers day is now allowed but still has more secular connotation. That why i said it is a christian celebration. It fall with church calender, involves church services and also called mid-lent or refreshment sunday.

HungerBAD:
Mothers day in the US is MAY 14TH.

Mothers day in Mexico is May 10th.

Women are so complicated they could not even settle for one day to celebrate themselves.
today is mothering sunday not mothers day. It has christian foundation.
PoliticsRe: IPOB, Why Choosing Portharcourt As Your Official Base? by OneNigerianist: 5:36pm On Mar 24, 2017
Ugomba:
lunatics are many there on the page.
let them keep deceiving themselves, the minorites will never join biafra and no refrendum will occur on their land because they never asked for one.
SMH...to think of the fact that you didt read their statement before shamelessly rushing to nairaland to post this shows the capacity of your intellect. A group you branded 'lunatics' was able to carefully state that Igweocha is now 'considered' the 'unofficial' base of IPOB but out of your overflowing wisdom you couldnt even do well to quote them right. Your claim that they 'declared' PH as the 'official' base of biafra is almost the opposite of their statement. You sound so stupid.

I dont blame you sha.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: FCSC: A Country Where 3rd Class Is Considered Above Msc + Bsc (2.1) by OneNigerianist: 11:18pm On Mar 17, 2017
Sorry Op, but you sound ignorant and arrogant. Instead of protesting the lack of transparency in the shortlisting process you are contesting why a third class should be taken in your stead. Civil service dont use grade, thats the bitter truth. Once you have the degree, you are qualified. If you have a higher degree it is disregarded except where it is demanded as a requirement.

You should be concerned that not all applicants are being given the chance to go for interview but a handpicked few.

We all must join hands lets keep nigeria one
keeping nigeria one is a task that must be fulfilled by hook or crook. Even if it involves the blood of us all, our children our future and our destiny we must sacrifice them all to preserve the shape of nigerian map.
Luggaurd is our god and personal saviour and we must forever worship him for giving us infallible nigeria. Not even GOD can break up Nigeria.

Anybody that opposes this is a foolish liepod.
