NECo conducts exams for junior secondary students in js3. Most schools write the ones for state and the one conducted by NECo. However NECO js3 exams starts on the 23rd of August. Neco js3 exams is not for only unity schools. It is however not compulsory. I have children in secondary school presently. For the first time, NECO ssce is coming before WAEC . It is NECO ssce that is ongoing. They have mathematics today. My daughter is writing today. People should stop spreading ignorance 1 Like |

There is a noisy sound from the belt and I have had to change it like thrice because it cut. I used a belt for six years without issues but since changing the Ac compressor I now have issues with the belt |

4 Ngozievergreen: haier thermocool washing machine is gud and d price is fair. U can get 1 4 btw 35k and 45k dependin on d size.I hav had mine since 2008. A washin machine which is life saver is not as pricy as u think. For me it is a necessity and not a luxury. As 4 bathin d kids, I do dat myself but I have someone who comes in thrice a wk 2 clean up d house |

In response 2 ngozievergreen: U can cook stew, soup, beans , jollof rice etc dat can take d home 4 say 2wks on a sat. Go to d market once a month 2 buy foodstuffs and provisions etc. U can wash clothes 3 times a wk with washing machine. Everything thing boils down 2 ur mindset and proper planning. Its not easy but I wuld feel I wasted my energy makin gud grades in school 1 Like |

I am a workin mum and can't dream of been a full time house wife. I love my kids and I am always dere 4 dem. Everything boils down 2 plannin.I do school runs most times and I hardly miss open days or PTA. Its not easy but I survive. I take my annual leave in august so I can b at home wit dem. I also don't joke wit my weekends. U don't have 2 b with ur kids 24hrs a day 4 dem 2 turn out while. My mum was a working mum and 6 of us turned out well. 1 Like |

D problem wit us from d south is dat older persons are usually nominated and elevated. Recently a judge in his 60s was elevated 2 d court of appeal. Dis means age is not on his side. In d north, persons in dere late 30s or mid 40s are d ones who get dere and so get 2 spend more time making dem eligible 4 cjn |

It is true that the standard of the law school is still high especially when compared with instituitions of higher learning in the country but the truth is that over the years corruption has entered the system. I wrote bar exams in 2000 and i experienced a situation where certain persons on a day fixed for a paper i think it was company law were going round asking some questions i mean what we refer to as a problem question and lo and behold,on getting to the hall,those questions came out verbatim with the same names and scenarios . This also happened in criminal procedure.Those who wrote the bar exams in 1999 can also attest to the fact that there was a leakage that year. |

The average salary of a lawyer in Nigeria is btw 10k and 50k. 150k and above is an exception to the rule and u dont just walk into such law firms 2 get a job. Your connection must be solid. As a lawyer, i know wot i am talking about. i am now on the bench and men the pay is it when compared with wot seniors as they are called want to pay u. You dont just get a job in Aluko and Oyebode, ajumogobia and co and the likes of such firms, u must have solid connections or ability to bring solid briefs. Seniors say the juniors are learning but they seem 2 forget that it is a mutual thing as it is not possible 4 d seniors 2 d legal work alone especially all the jackie work . Its not the average junior who can afford a uk masters and such like qualification that this highbrow law firms are in love with. Think about it guys after ur parents have struggled to train you and expect that you can at least fend for yourself, u would still be relying on them big time. 2 Likes 1 Share |

The constitution is specific. it mentions a written declaration. If it had envisaged other means of declaration it would have mentioned it. For non lawyers in the house, there is a principle of law that states that the express mention of a thing excludes all others not mentioned. Even if the constitution was silent on the format of the declaration, the BBc interview c annot be taken as a declaration to the senate cos it was not meant for them alone but a message to the whole world. The constitution envisages a situation where the declaration is made to the national assembly and national assembly alone. this is all drama , lets watch what happens in the next coupleof weeks |

i boil the eggs most times. its only when its boiled yam or fried plantain that i give them fried eggs which is oncea week. i dont give fruits. I guess it makes sense to add fruits |

for me and i know a lot of mothers who do same,i . give the following. indomie with egg or fish, jollof rice with egg or fish, spaghetti or macaroni, fried rice, boiled yam or plantain with fried eggs. i pick a different meal each day of the school week for lunch for my kids. i add either caprisonne, ribena or bobo drink .i drop my kids at 7am and dont pick them till 4pm and i dont think sandwhich would go. i am speaking for myself mind you . i also add biscuit to the lunch pack. i agree completely with tensor, the least of your problems is ofice premises or furniture. The important thing , is how do you get briefs that would sustain you. It is important to consider that as this would determine if you would earn a living as it would make no sense to have a well furnished office without having clients. Mind you as a lawyer, i have come to realise that clients dont brief you becos of your sign board or how cosy your office is. |

I live in warri infact moved from Lagos and i can say the place has improved considering i have lived here for six years now. A lot of the the news reports are false and exaggerated. Something happens in sapele or orerokpe and the media reports it took place in warri. Warri is very peaceful. The fight with the militants is not in warri but in Gbaramatu Kingdom which is made up of oporoza, okerenkoko etc. These places are riverine areas in Delta State . It is true warri has its slums just like Lagos, Abuja and other big cities. Its false that the whole of warri is one huge ghetto. People should pls get dere facts right |

I dont agree with you that peugeot cars consume much fuel maybe the old 504 model. My husband and i use 405 cars with ac and we spend more on fuel for our nissan car than our 405. Peugeot cars are very rugged and good for our roads. We intend to upgrade to a 406 soon although i love the 307. Peugeot parts are easily available and affordable |

You might not appreciate the issue of clinical depression if u have not suffered from it or know someone who has. It is different from beeing sad or moody over certain issues in life. it is a serious matter. i have been there and gotten to the point of feeling suicidal and actually wanting to practicalize it. Its not a joking matter. If you are suffering from it u nieed to look for a reason to come out of it. My kids are the greatest reasons i have for staying alive today . This thread should be taken seriously |
