Politics / Re: Nigeria Seeks $1.5Billion From China For Rice, Cassava by onitshaigbo(m): 5:59am On Dec 08, 2012
Maybe there are other terms not specified here, but a 20-year loan for 2% per annum interest is very low interest to a country as badly run as Nigeria. Many EU countries pay much higher interest for such loans. China does not expect to gain monetarily from the loan. Perhaps they are expecting other favors from the Nigerian government, but if that is not the case, then we want more of these loans to develop our agriculture, infrastructure, etc. It will not be long when Nigeria could truly become the Giant of Africa and of the World.

Lagos and Igbo Southeast is moving forwards. But the rest of Nigeria is going backwards. God save Nigeria.
Health / Re: Would You Donate Blood? by onitshaigbo(m): 4:14am On Nov 29, 2012
About how some white countries ban African blood, I understand why, let's be real here. Africans are much more likely to be HIV positive than other races. Sure I'm not happy, but hey that shouldn't stop us from donating blood in our own Nigeria to help fellow Africans.

Also, don't think donating blood is like sacrificing something for the benefit of others. It's good to let go of some old blood and give the body a chance to produce new blood cells, it can be rejuvenating. That is, of course, the blood donation needle is sterile. So I encourage healthy Nigerians to give blood. It's good for you too!
