Although this is better than nothing, but the government needs to know that this is NOT GOOD ENOUGH. A efficient and expansive rail system will really make things easier for the average Nigerian traveler.

So is there a country in the world that is an original creation? Is there a country where you don't have dissentions amongst its component tribes or peoples?

Yes, and most of them are in Africa, and especially in countries that are not doing so well. Look, I believe in pan-Africanism. But seriously, do you think the Hausas and Fulani care more about their co-ethnic brethrens in Niger or Igbos and Yorubas in the South? If all of Africa were united in a single country, Nigeria would still need to break up, the north and the south are just too different.

You're right, wishing that God would destroy them is too much. My bad. I wouldn't wish that God destroy any black Africa nation.

sometimes it wonders me y some of u just spew rubbish anyhow. u want God to destroy Ghana? may He (God) repay ur evil intention with d worst form of evil. when u seek ur neighbour's downfall, it shall come back to u. I dont know datz y God is already punishing ur dir.ty nigeria, bh will continue to destroy u n ur families. nansense. Have u ever seen or heared of any tribal war (or war of any kind) in Ghana dat is devastating like urs? Nope! y? cos God has already bless Ghana n any curse from ur gullied mouth will be a blessings for Mother Ghana. Ghana is a Peaceful Country, and Peaceful It Must Remain!

You know, Nigeria was the most welcoming and friendly of African countries. We supported everyone else in their independence (like the ANC of South Africa). But now, every country in Africa looks down at us and not give us respect. Worse yet, they are delighted when they hear of our failures. Is that how you repay a benefactor?

African countries are usually very small compared to Naija, so they may feel afraid and wish us ill, because they know if everything in Naija is put into good order, we will become the superpower of Africa. They rather be influenced by oyinbos from London and Washington than from Abuja, and that is why I despise their mentality. Mark my words, Nigeria is destined to become the #1 power in Africa, sooner or later.

Your hatred of/for Ghana is on another level. . .why?

My reasons were stated. They think they're better than us. Same with South Africans. They will get what's coming to them. Nigeria is Africa's future. If Nigeria does not prosper, Africa does not prosper.

If you can't pledge allegiance to Nigeria, why are you posting on NL? Is this the only forum in the world? Park well joor! Go and post on the Gambian forum or in an Iraqi forum! Shame on you!

What you're saying makes no sense. I am born in Nigeria, so why would I care about Gambia or Iraq or any other country? I'm just saying Nigeria isn't a real organic country that deserves allegiance. Either I have allegiance to only my people the Igbos, or to all black Africans anywhere, but only to Nigeria, an ARTIFICIAL CREATION OF THE BRITISH, makes no sense to me. Someone from Maiduguri is not closer to me than someone from Cotonou, you understand?

Nigeria has the brightest future of all African countries. Nigerians are the most entrepreneurial and intellectual of all Africans. Who in Africa dares to fvck with us? Also, at least Nigerians are not dying from AIDS in large numbers like the countries in southern and eastern Africa.

I'm tired of those Ghanaians who always think they're better than us, even though we are the Giant of Africa. Countries like Ghana prevent Africa from being more united. Nkrumah was a greater leader but they exiled him, may God destroy Ghana.

What is Nigeria? It's a country randomly organized together by devilish oyinbos who know that all these diverse groups will not allow it to be strong and united.

Why should I pledge allegiance to such a creation of oyinbos?

Freewilly: Why are Fulani even allowed to walk around freely in Enugu ?

Tomorrow now they will start causing trouble in Igboland

they should be deported back to the North we don't need

them for anything.

Why so much hate? Whether Fulani or Ndigbo, aren't we all Nigerians? Aren't we all black people? This is what keeps our race backwards and vulnerable to oppression from foreigners. We have to unite.

No, this is NOT an insult to Mandela or South Africa, who thinks Mandela and South Africans know or care about who Orji is? This is only an insult to the intelligence of the Abia and Nigerian people, who they thought could believe in this completely bovine excrement comparison.

Notice how some governors are all talk, but you don't hear the "doer" governors like Fashola engage in such shameless self-promotion. Do they think we Nigerians are idiots?

paris10: Not trying to diss my bros, those in prison in countries like Afghanistan, India and all Asian countries are generally IGbos. WE go to these countries not to work or hustle, but to find a easy way outta poverty.

Maybe the reason why the federal government doesn't seem to care about overseas Nigerians in distress is because it is generally the Igbos who are in distress, and since Igbos are being excluded from top positions in the federal government, the other ethnic groups don't seem to care about the lives of Igbos abroad. SMH. Again, Nigeria is plagued by tribalism. I believe if we each stop believing that our ethnic group is superior to others, all Nigerians will benefit.
Travel / Re: When Going Back To Nigeria Is A Death Sentence: The Story Of Rose Akhalu by onitshaigbo(m): 1:02am On Jan 21, 2013
Absolutely heartbreaking, I hope that she is granted asylum or residency in the UK. But in the case that she does not, I accept it too, since it is not the responsibility of the UK taxpayers to pick up the cost of healing a foreigner. This is once again another example of how our government entire country has failed in providing security and dignity to us Nigerians, that we are humiliated and placed in the mercy of foreign governments. When will this sense of shame and frustration translate into real action? I look around Nigeria, most of the country isn't even going in the right direction, except for Lagos State, which under the leadership of Fashola, is one of the few bright spots in this nation of disappointment.

Politics / Re: Fashola Can Use Lagos Successes To Run For President- Bloomberg by onitshaigbo(m): 10:35pm On Dec 20, 2012
Fashola is not just fit to govern in Yorubaland, but all of Nigeria. As an Igbo living in the Southeast, I appreciate his efforts in Lagos State to make things better for business (better roads, better public transportation, more areas to do business) and I think most Igbos and indeed Nigerians regardless of ethnicity would want that.

Fashola is by far the best governor that we have here in Nigeria. May he succeed in Lagos, and may he bring that success to all of Nigeria!

Thanks.

Ethiopians and Somalis are not even pure Africans. They're like Indians with African-like hair. And saying that they're better looking than us has got to be a joke. Indians along with Middle-Easterners are probably the ugliest people on earth.

Also, look at their countries: Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia. The Horn of Africa is the least developed region, and is always in or on the brink of the a devastating famine. I couldn't be happier that they distanced themselves from us, because I sure don't want to considered in the same race as them.
