Tramigo is actually the best here. Can be quite expensive if going through "professionals" for installation. But cheap if you are knowledgeable enough to install it yourself. I bought and installed one on my own, paid 29k for the device..Tramigo T23. Plenty YouTube videos if you prefer DIY |
akymme:Lol. Thanks I'll call him. I'm in Abuja.... guess he can do waybill |
akymme:It's camshaft-related issue. In search of part no. 13050-0T011 Sienna, Gazzuzz etc..... Your assistance is needed |
Be careful with some of these recommendations before you damage your engine, or create problems for yourself. 1. Engine flushing is a questionable practice, many tech actually against it (http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local/flushservices.html). 2. No one goes just to change oil filter; Oil filter change goes with oil replacement. 3. Again, no one goes changing fuel filter just to gain more power/performance, except there's a fuel-line related issue with the car.... The recommendation is to change fuel filter while changing fuel pump. Good lucks Enjoy your ride |
Thanks Gazzuzz, that's Toyota's fix for the issue (which I attached above). The sound I'm experiencing is exactly the sound they addressed there. Anyone fixing must use the information they provided. |
I just hope this thread is not turning to "kazeems" vs "experts"; there are reasons each of them is still in business. However, whoever is driving a car ought to be able to do use the internet (Google and my good people of NL) to augment whatever services he's getting anywhere. |
Appointment with Lomomike booked for Tuesday next week. |
kingreign:Thanks, I will. Hoping he sees this thread/can handle it. My mechanic told me nothing can be done about it... Just watch the engine die slowly |
mayor2013:Toyota 0w20 Just serviced the car 2days ago and the problem is still there |
09 Corolla, Auto tranny My experts in the house I have an issue with my car. Recently my car started making a rattling noise during cold starts. After some googling I noticed it's a known issue with 09/10 corolla models, which Toyota has addressed. Abeg, any mech in Abuja who can fix the issue kindly leave your address here. Attached Below is Toyota's solution to the problem |
fixmykey:2009 Corolla, no keys. Just one remote control. Thought I should get an extra, in case. |
Can you do Remote for 2009 Corolla With thumbstart ; and how much? And hope it won't involve adding any extra device |
How much per unit. Without installation |
Please how much will it cost to get this item down to Abuja. http://detail.1688.com/offer/42430608399.html?spm=0.0.0.0.BO2jlY Thanks in advance |
honmusa:Thanks a million times for the simplified direction. I'll give it a trial and get back to you. |
Pals help out I understand Tramigo by default is meant to cut power supply to the starter thereby preventing engine start. This also means the tracker only stops the vehicle when it is not on motion. I would rather have it cut fuel supply to the engine for immediate engine shutdown. Please guide me on how to trace my fuel pump power supply cable. 2009 Corolla, Auto Thanks in advance ![]() |
Make your offers please |
VIN Number? ?? I offer 2m |
I need the above car, preferably in Abuja. |
How do I buy things from Ebay and/or Amazon and get them delivered to me in Abuja. Your suggestions please |
Congrats Op for taking anti-kazeem campaign to the front page....indirectly through these proper lectures. At least anyone doing Kazeem tropicalization does so at his peril |
GAZZUZZ: Thanks man. Hope I don't come back with "stories that touch" |
Thanks for all your contributions, nice having you guys here to fall back on for expert assistance. |
honmusa:Thanks a lot, sounds a bit consoling. Will have it connected (thermostat diagnosis/fixing will follow soon). Was afraid the fan will never run except I use ac..... Overheating wahala. |
GAZZUZZ:Thanks for the insight, from your post I understand that the fan should run intermitently.. Whether the thermostat is installed or not.... My worry here is that through out the period of watching the car.... 10mins with ac (fan ran non-stop), another 10mins without ac and the fan never came on. Abeg what could be wrong ![]() |
abatically:Thanks a lot. Is there any 'simple' test to confirm that the thermostat is not there? |
After reading a lot about how wrong it is to connect radiator fan directly, I decided to pay close attention to mine. Unfortunately, it's been altered and the fan runs non-stop (don't know when, but probably when they convinced me to switch to double cell radiator). Went to have it fitted the right way. First, after fixing back the 'regulator' on the body of the fan's casing, the fan wouldn't run except the ac is on: comes on as soon as the ac is running(and won't stop for throughout the 10mins of this experiment) and goes off as soon as the ac is off. The mechanic's explanation is that the thermostat on the engine has been removed(not sure if that's true), which should be communicating with the fan 'regulator'. Abeg, what could be responsible for this and how do I fix it. NB: The car runs fine, except that the temperature guage never reaches the mid-point once the ac is not in use. I just want am d way oyibo mekam. |
Hmmm Looks inviting. Any fault with the ride worth noting before any commitment?? |
Location ![]() If Abuja, you'll get it in Gudu Market |
