nurey:Push to Start tech doesn't work that way. I use one myself and can confidently tell you that the car won't start without the (sensor)remote being inside the car. In fact, should the remote be moved away from the car after it's started, the engine will go off about 5mins afterwards. |

My hrt bleeds at how so easily people are lured into what they never really bargained for with sweet talks, false assurances, and demonic allurements. Stay away, far away from dinning with the devil before it is too late to pull back. He goes about like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. LIES SECRET CULTS TELL YOU, TO CONVINCE YOU TO BECOME A MEMBER 1. We’re non-religious, sectarian, non-political body. You can belong to us and still remain with whatever group you belong. LIES: They won’t tell you the truth until it is too late for you to pull out. They tell you this knowing that sooner or later your previous convictions would be washed away, and you would soon belong nowhere else except with them. 2. You will discover truths never known before, your inner mystic powers. LIES: Jesus alone is THE truth, any power that is not of God is of no positive good to you. 3. You will become rich, successful and influential. This and that personalities in the society were/are members. LIES: First, not every rich/successful/influential person is a cultist. Moreover, what is rich/success/influence without the peace of mind to enjoy your ‘riches’. Yet often times, the member still dies a wretch. 4. It is for your freedom, no more harassment. LIES: Freedom Wait till you become a member to know what living in bondage truly means.5. We are not a secret cult. LIES: Like seriously Then why all the secrecy around you; and why all the night/secret meetings. Why keep the very things you teach secret if you are not a secret cult![]() Avoid their sweet talks and lures before it is too late. It is all lies. |
chukel:My brother, noticed better stability at high speeds, Still observing though. Hoping that should prolong the life of my kyb shocks too ![]() |
fixed!!! Got the parts in Apo from the guys that butcher cars. 13k for the parts and 3k for workmanship. |
redcliff:Gudu Market in Abuja. Bought 5ltrs for 11k. Later discovered the actual price is 10k |
chiebube:Have not used COASTAL but my last servicing was with Mobil One 5w 30. Noticed better Engine sound and better acceleration. Not going back to anything less than that |
Piyke:Lol. Most likely. Wonder what could be their reason. Surely not in my hands though |
GAZZUZZ:I'm in Abuja. Can we arrange: you help me pick/send them to Abuja |
Saw a video on youtube that shows the location of the linkage -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2dfyNXClVU Wondering where I can get the anti-sway bar in Abuja |
Anyone with this model of Corolla: kindly post pics of your stabilizer linkages, sway bar etc. |
mayor2013:Wow; thanks for the info, sounds scary though. There's nothing down there, no traces left. Sort of confused whether to go ahead with fitting it back, or do I just 'manage' the car that way |
emekan:No idea. Just trying to see if I can fix it back |
GAZZUZZ:Thanks for your assistance. Wish I could see pics of how they fit |

Took my corolla 2009__the one they call 'South Africa' for shocks replacement. Was surprised to find that this car has no stabiliser Linkage, can't find any provisions for it on the car. I'm worried cos I was told this would wear the shocks easily; and at worst make the car sway at certain speed. Please if you own one, or has experience with this car help me confirm that this particular model has no space for it. If it does, kindly send pics of yours (exact same model). |
Hi pals, What's the right oil to use when servicing 09 Corolla? |
Buhari1:Menh; so expensive. Called to find out hw mch it'd cost to do colour change on 09 Corolla. Told me it's 150k flat |
Update: Shocks replacement went as planned; bt to my surprise, there are no sway stabilizer linkages on this car; the provisions (holes) are there on the shocks but no corresponding space down. No rods from one end to the other. Nothing! My confusion: Is it possible that 2009 Corolla has no stabilizer linkages (in which case I need nt worry)? Or Could it be that everything about the linkage has been 'neatly' removed. I'm already worried abt this possibility and considering having those parts fitted (if there were removed b4). Your opinions my people |
tpacalipse:Bro, I was racing home for a catch up. Nthn justifies over-speeding though. So calm dwn pls |
GAZZUZZ:Tnx 4 being there; will ring him |
Great! Hope they cn send it dwn 2 Abj |
GAZZUZZ:Tnx. Need that scanner soonest. How mch does it cost, n what product is a better option? I'd prefer one that reads airbag system too |

Car: 2009 Corolla; automatic City: Abuja Issue: All out system failure. Was drivin home few days ago on top speed (140 to 160) then suddenly my 2009 corolla seemed to 'shutdwn', wit d followin comin on immediately: 1. Check Engine light 2. Check power steering 3. Speedometer went flat to zero 4. Mileage also stopped reading 5. Acceleration became an issue and the car just didn't feel like before at all. To put it lightly, I panicked! Parked and restarted the car, stil the same. Managed it home all the same. Because I needed to go somewhere in the evenin, I still drove d car out. But I further observed that the gear lever which was always warm without AC, felt completely cold. Of course d gear selection wasn't as before. After a little googling I loosed d front tires to see if any sensor was out of place. Lo and behold, the right abs sensor was just dangling. Fixed it back, disconnected the battery heads for some minutes and everything started working, except the speedometer. Took it out for test-driving and on my way, the speedometer started reading too. Till today, everything is still working. Jst amazing such a 'little fault' could throw the car off-balance. |
Stylz69:Tnx so mch. Will ring them |
Stylz69:Thanks. Quite anumber of them there. Any contact number pls? |
2009 Corolla: I'm looking to change my shocks with original new ones today, pls recommend a genuine parts dealer within Abuja. Thanks pals |
Irwindickson:Yes the CHECK ABS has been flashing. I'm not quite knowledgeable in this but the mechanics never suspected the ABS. |
