Bro I believe it's network. Even though Glo says I need to change my phone, the phone is strongly glued to their network, I guess they don't have Xiaomi in their data base. Yet the phone works great.

thanks a grt deal boss..... But alas....d virus is in my file manager... A system app and it cannot b uninstalled.....I remember going 2 fzmovies.net 2 get new movies.... D site was under upgrade..... I really think datz where d glitches came from..... Factory reset my phone twice

Most likely a rooted phone.

These viruses have a way of turning themselves into system apps in rooted phones. Even after factory reset, they're right back.
(in unrooted ones the trouble is over once you trace and remove the culprit app).

You might need to flash your ROM as the only solution

The GTB mobile account opening is a service that supposedly enables individuals to open an account with their phone just by dialing a short code.

Well my experience shows this is nothing but a way of luring one with the fake promise of easy/simple account opening procedure; it is not anything simplified procedure or an easy one, you'll certainly end up with more headache trying to get the account fully functional.

First, soon after dialing the code you'll get a reply saying

"Dear Customer,your new GTBankAcct No is ********** Please note that your maximum single deposit is N50000 and your Acct balance cannot exceed N300000" meaning just what the message says.

No cheque book, no ATM and you cannot withdraw any kobo from the account till you go to their branch to upgrade it.

Now that's where your headaches begin: you'll be required to fill an account opening form(remind me what you did with your phone if that wasn't an account you opened) with all other requirements you'd normally produce while opening an account.

Ordinarily you are enrolled for an ATM card when you go to any bank to open an account but not in this case, not even now that you want to upgrade the account, you have to come another day to apply for it.

With all these wahala you'll agree with me that there is nothing real about GTB mobile account opening! Please simply walk into any bank to open your account.
