i see gold heading to 1465 before heading for the downward movement but it can also head down to
1444 before moving up to 1465 which is why am staying out...
i will just stay aside today and watch the eu and ej currency to trade...

like as i said earlier in the morning, price has got to where i want
so i have taken a sell at 1467.44 with stop at 1471

Gold is headed for 1420 at least, looking to add to my shorts when the next hourly is completed.

thats the area am also looking at 1418-1420...

once its gets to the area and forms a rejection, i will take a buy there...

once 1444 can be broken easily, then its still going down....
but if you want to close it at that area manually close it yourself at the area because of the spread of which price will
have to pass through 1440 before been closed...

just took a sell on eu at 1.3112 using 30pips stop.
reason last candle on 4hr rejected the daily resistant and the
weekly pivot area.
Also my trending shows a rejection at this area...

Sorry, i didnt post my trade of yesterday on gold sell.
having power issues here which is why i could post and reply.

Still currently on a gold sell that i took yesterday from 1468 area and
now its doing me good.

I first took a buy on this gold but closed the trade after 5min to enter the sell
because of what i saw....

stop now at breakeven now which i will still adjust. currently on 186pips

Gold is currently at a support area of 1444 if broken will pave way for 1418-1420 area

elewedu: I will be taking my first live trade this week. Because of my work schedule, plus the fact that I find it very stressful trading lower timeframes, , I will be taking setups on 4hr TF only . I will keep lurking arround the thread to refill my confidence in this bussiness, be inspired by the success stories here and also to bolster the little knowledge I have garthered in my six months of demo trading. I am looking at focusing on my psychology for the next three month, see how my emotions will come to play as compared to demo trading. As it stands now I am not driven by the profits but by the sincere desire to master to the extent of calling the bluff of my employer. I know it will take time, you can never read experience in any textbook.....but am convinced that someday I will trade like naijababe, endfx, rozayx5, pipnomics,pip love-vendor,oliverpin........Please wish me success in this new endeavour. i believe showing of one's account is not a proof that one really know what you are doing, it has been done in the past and even now and the end result is still the same...
I have read from the begining from this thread to the last and have found nothing meaningful in all the post said here apart from the advise invertedhammer gave here.

NOTE OF ADVISE: Because you are posting your account statement of one month doesnt mean every other trader should follow suit. I for once will never upload any statement in any thread ie its personal, i believe in giving my own advise in what the market is saying according to my own trading strategy and am enjoying it.

Am a marketer and i know how some of the stuff works, assuming you are a trader looking for people to training or trade for though you have said you are not doing such. The direct approach to marketing in forums like this is not to first post proof of earning of account especially if its for a short time... What a marketer rather does is giving out value in whatever product or service that one is offering after which you can now be posting proof, that is if people are asking you for it. If you are delivering valuable information, people wont even bother asking about your account talkless of say your bank statement because they know that you actually know what you are doing because of the information that you have been giving.

thats just my advice if its that you are heading towards the way of getting people to train or trading for people, if not simply ignore this post....

Another trading week has arrived...
here is my analysis on Gold and EU for this week.

For Gold, i see this week continuing with the buy as price rejected the trendline on my chart and broke the
mothly pivot level which is 1467 which indicate that the buy will continue, though depending on the opening price on gold
will determine whether to enter at market open or wait for a retest of 1466-1467 area to enter my buy for at least 300pips.
though i will rather wait and see what price say as should price break below 1464, then i will enter a sell and i see it heading down to 1415 area. so which ever one happens, i will follow for this week on Gold.

On Eu, i also see a continuation of the buy happening on eu as price broke above the weekly resistance at 1.3096, so i will probably wait for a retest of the area to enter a buy on Eu.

these are what i will be looking at when market opens tonight.

Anybody have any contrary opinion, do share...

i just closed half of my position on gold to make sure say i get more pips should in case (150pips).
so am on the safe side now..
the market can do as it like today... my stop is still intact

lets see how NFP will shake the market within the next 10 minute... though its already doing graaa graaa now.

naijababe: I added another lot at 1465 yday. First position was taken at 1444, so my sl is now 1465 for both. Hopefully NFP will take us to 1500 today.

Its as if our trading strategy Ȋ̝̊̅§ the same.... As ℓ̊ also added another long on gold at 1464 yesterday. Also M̶̲̥̅γ̲̣̣̥ first trade Ȋ̝̊̅§ already at the stop of long ℓ̊ added so right, all ℓ̊ can lose I̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ this trade Ȋ̝̊̅§ just 50pips with about 200pips now secured as a result of stop...
Let hope nfp will do us good today...

naijababe: Check the daily chart. There is some consolidation plus 1450 holding signals more move to the upside. You can almost spot a bullish flag on the 1hr tf too.

To further add to the continuation of the long on gold, the 4 hour candle broke through the monthly pivot area...
this next 4 hour candle should hold above this area for it to continue it movement up...

naijababe: I think it will and go even lower but it has not completed its retracement in my opinion. I believe it will get as high as 1500 and maybe even 1535 before heading back south.

first target first 1483.9, which will decide whether it will still go up or come all the way down which i think will happen, if not, then 1500 or more...

already adjusted stop to +130pips... still on the long on gold

take profit on gold is 1444 which is where i will be taking another buy trade there.

most of my trades is based on levels and trendline...
am not aware of any news but if i was fully on my chart today, i would have taken a buy on eu
from my chart which was why i initially said that i missed some oppurtunity in my previous post.

Reason---- there was a monthly resistant level at 3052 with also a trendline that is
drawn within the area which should me a good indication of a buy.
taking into account that 3050 is an important key level on the chart...

@invertedhammer, i find it easier trading fully on technicals without having to really know whats up with fundamentals
and it has really worked for me in the long run and also i agree on the issue of not trading anytime as i have adopted that style in my trading which has helped me.
As long as what you are trading works for you, stick to it and dont bother let anything else confuse...

As you have rightly said, no one knows it all, we learn every single day.

lost some opportunity today on trades as i was mostly away from the system...
will wait to see how todays trades end to position myself for tomorrow

seeing a resistance on gold at 1481 area...

before tomorrow morning, all will be clear...
