Request transcript from your alma-mata,send the label with your request and they (alma-mata) will attach the label with your transcript to be sent to PG school for easy sorting.

You don't need any acct number. Print the invoice,take it to skye bank and pay or click payment of PGS website,follow the steps to pay online. All that is required is your invoice number.

Masters is 16k and 21k respectively and Masters does not require Jamb number. Your story get k-leg. Anyway,the site for undergrad is admissions.ui.edu.ng. Only Jamb number and Surname is required to generate invoice and continue registration

It must be sent from your previous school to UI in hardcopy and your label must accompany it for easy sorting else,you will have to sort it yourself during clearance. Electronically,not too sure about that except I see someone that was cleared with such. Will ask around to confirm

You can print the forms anytime,it will be there till you are cleared. What you need now is your transcript label,I advise you send your transcript when you score above 40 in EPT. Don't wory abt the referee,you can submit when you're certain you have fixed everything.

Chose Plant SCIENCE & Biotechnology in stead of Plant BIOLOGY AND Biotechnology
(I actually got to discover there was actually plant BIOLOGY ON THE Ui website. I thought they replaced plant BIOLOGY with plant SCIENCE)

MAIDEN name.
I shouldn't have filled in that but I mistakenly filled one of my names not on my certificates.


I tried to MODIFY DATE but it appears that options is gone.
I can see just the options for
Application form, eligibility for, transcript request, acceptance form, etc



I would like to know if these errors could be corrected during the clearance process or there a way to go about it

Maybe yours but my brother's own which said no login credentials prior the update went through when I read the update. Make sure your Surname is in capital. Best of luck bro.

I have a Bsc Plant Biology and Biotechnology, otherwise referred to as Botany and Biotechnology.

During the application process, I chose PLANT SCIENCE AND BIOTECHNOLOGY as my Bsc, since my actual course of study was not made available.

I applied to department of PHARMACOGNOSY faculty of Pharmacy
After registration and submitting I checked admission status and the FIRST DEGREE AND SECOND DEGREE showed NOT PASSED.

I would love to know if this translates that PLANT SCIENCE AND BIOTECHNOLOGY which I chose is not eligible for the Msc in pharmacognosy.

If that is the case, should I go ahead to correct the course to BOTANY?
Or the issue would be rectified during the screening process?

PS : THE PROSPECTUS NEVER STATED WHICH Bsc COURSES ARE ELIGIBLE for the Msc by coursework.
It only reflected Bsc courses eligible for professional Msc courses.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Thursday urged all institutions preparing for post-UTME and other processes leading to admissions to update their candidates’ list from the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).


The board’s Head of Media, Dr Fabian Benjamin, made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja.

He said that the update was necessary to ensure that all candidates who made recent changes in their choice of institutions were properly captured.


Benjamin said that the board had received complaints from candidates who had made changes but could not register for the 2018 post-UTME in the new institutions they chose because their details did not reflect on the portal of the institutions.

The update, he explained, was necessary and if not done changes made by prospective candidates would not be reflected.

“These changes have been reflected on the CAPS portal, but the institutions have not updated their lists, hence, candidates are not able to register for the post-UTME.


“Most of these institutions are still holding onto what was made available to them at the policy meeting in June.

“CAPS empower candidates to make changes to programmes and institutions of their choice at anytime except where institutions request the board to block its page to enable it to prepare for the conduct of its post-UTME.

“For ease of management of candidates, institutions make requests to the Board to prevent candidates from choosing them at certain periods closer to the conduct of their post-UTME.

“This is because some candidates may still make changes in the morning of the exercise or even during the conduct thereby constituting serious challenges to managing the exercise.

“We are appealing to all institutions to quickly update their lists now to save these candidates from the trauma of coming to the board to complain.”

Benjamin said that changes made by candidates automatically reflect on the CAPS portal but would take the continuous update or download of the lists by the various institutions to reflect on the schools’ portal.



I saw that news yesterday, I've contacted last year's aspirants, they said it happened last year nd it'll b rectified soo, i registered two days ago to bt did change of course earlier but it didnt reflect after the registration bt they said i should be patient, that it'll be updated once the University collects the new list from jamb
