This is why most bloggers are not doing well. Why spread fake news? Can't you have more patience till the list is out than post rubbish on your blog? Why the haste? News don finish?

NOTE: As as the time of making the post the NSCDC Shortlist names is not yet out, we would update you as soon as the list comes out by January

Let's see if I can assist,.

What is your age range and that of your hobby? 20-25? 26-30? et al

How long have you been married?

Was it matchmaking or religion brought you together?

Do you work or a full time housewife?

Be sincere, something enticed you to him at the first instance. Money, looks, family background, religiosity, age, maturity or peer/family pressure.

You are the bigger fool to think if the UI has records with undergraduates using Matric Numbers with "1," the relevant Authority cannot do the same with students coming from OTHER universities by giving them similar Matric Numbers.

I would have tolled around with you with words but I can see you are still battling with your " 5 failed" courses. I understand. You can still register and sit for those courses so that we can convocate together next year, God spearing our lives. Amen.

Bro, at this stage of life, you have realised, its not about bragging but facing once primary assignment at every stage in life. In one of our early conversations, I told you about your ITK mentality which is now obvious to you. You curse, talk down on people, think you know if all. Your ego coupled with your super ego put criminology ahead of all other courses and now, you are caught in the web of "criminality". It's still good at this stage to retrace your steps, calm yourself and see the good sides of your failure. You can always bounce back better than ever, if only you stop being a keypad warrior and face what brought you down to the West. Sellah

Abetterperson:
Every since I turn 16 have been afraid of death but not for myself but for the people around me. Each time the people I love are not around me. I always think of how they will die and how the news will come to me. Have had dreams about it. My dad died when I was 14, I wasn't close to him but I felt it .... Is this normal or am I the only one

Please if is not, how can I stop it. It's getting out of hand, am unable to live my life properly now

Anxiety all over you. It's normal but you need to work on your self to avoid high blood pressure. My dad died 15years ago and till date, if I send someone on errand talk less of travelling and fails to return or call, I would start panicking and have ulterior thoughts. Always try and calm yourself down and bring the positive side of it saying in your mind - All is well-. That's the magic.

Education / Re: 2018/2019 UI Postgraduate Discussion Thread by onlyme07(m): 6:48am On Oct 26, 2019
lilliesboy:
This BIAS, particularly against postgraduate students coming from OTHER (African) universities and/or NON-Yoruba has been going on for MANY years in the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. They only PRETEND about it. If you ask (postgraduate) students/graduates of the University of Ibadan that came from OTHER universities, many of them will confirm what I am telling you.

One major and popular thing they use in identifying and differentiating THEIR own University of Ibadan alumni/first degree holders from OUTSIDE or NON-University of Ibadan graduates is the MATRICULATION NUMBER: all THEIR Unibadan products carry Matric Numbers that begins with number "1," while OUTSIDERS or non-Unibadan (postgraduate) students carry Matric Numbers that begin with "2". Once lecturers/staff see a student's Matriculation Number that begins with "2," they QUICKLY hold a stupid BIAS against the student and begin to NEGATIVELY judge their intelligence/academic performance based on that.

Records have shown that many Nigerian postgraduate students who came from OTHER universities had OFTEN outshine their so-called ONLY "best/brilliant" University of Ibadan alumni/products academically and otherwise. Thus, many lecturers and non-academic staff feel insulted and threatened like they are not good lecturers since it invariably means so if their students are not better than those coming from other universities or NON-Yoruba ethnic group. To justify this, they OFTEN score non-Unibadan or OUTSIDE students very LOW in exams but give their (dull) students/alumni BETTER (unmerited) grades and advantage. They also complement this injustice and systemic corruption by ALWAYS talking DOWN on non-Unibadan graduates or making a caricature of them in comparison to their own (dull) students in order to DEMORALIZE them (OUTSIDE students/NON-Yoruba) by making them feel TIMID or like they do not know anything and never merited their (first) good degrees. This is clearly a form of PSYCHOLOGICAL warfare and should be punished if Nigeria was an advanced society with a high rule of law.

These systemic corruption and injustice are the MAIN reasons why so MANY (Yoruba) students in this part of the country, most of them DUNES, are awarded Ph.D, made professors, SAN etc., than the rest region of the country. It is because they are in CONTROL of the (educational) system, NOT because they are the most intelligent. I tell you, SO MANY of them with Ph.D. and Professorial degrees/tiles know very little or NOTHING compared to those in the Niger Delta and other areas. I and others who have lived here KNOW what we are talking about. Na DASH dem dey DASH many of dere pipul here wit dos (UNMERITED) degrees and awards.

Imagine "postgraduate" students who cannot speak neither write a simple good sentence; some of them in class even talk in YORUBA when presenting seminar paper since they cannot speak in simple English. Their papers are full of many grammatical blunders and misspellings; I and others even help them to edit their works. Yet, whenever results comes out these set of (Yoruba) students ALWAYS score HIGHER - 60% and above, than many of us who are NON-Yoruba and/or NON-University of Ibadan alumni. So much injustice, corruption and so-called tribalism here. Hypocrisy of the highest order!

I will NEVER relent concerning those poor seven (7) results! Let them do their usual gang up and manipulation to subvert justice and cover up their evil tracks; I will not relent. This matter may go very FAR if they do not do the right thing! Those are NOT my real scores and can NEVER be!

Now,let me lecture you. UI alumni make use of their matric number immediately they get admission into the Uni.. If you enrol in UG, you will use same matric number for your M.Sc and PhD. All those you see having their matric number from 1 most likely completed their UG few years back. In my class, I have a mate with five digits starting from 5, which means he graduated years back. It shows the Uni has information/data for all her students no matter the level or year you graduated. If you decide to come back for your PhD, you would continue with your M.sc matric number. That settles that. Next time,do your research and don't me myopic on issues.

On the issue of enthnicity, I wonder where you got this. Seriously, if I lay my hands on your matric number, I would forward this to the VC and copy the Dean. You are not worthy to hold UI certificate in all ramifications. You stooped so low with all these words and you expect someone to respect you when you present the certificate for further studies. Don't always be childish. Because you failed one course does not mean they give away marks or acknowledge their alumni before others. You need to thank your stars that you were even given admission because if it were other Uni, you would not be recognised. Instead of attacking the Uni and making it look as if it happens in all depts, why can't you be bold enough to mention the name of the lecturer or dept involved. I know your department but be bold enough to name course lectures that "dash" mark as you posited.

You failed, you were here ranting all over the years instead of you to face your primary assignment, you made use of social media like your life depends on it. Now you have realised, you are not brilliant but a smart kid that was able to manipulate his lecturers in UG days. Sorry, your PhD hopes have been dashed or you even failed the meet up with Mphil/Phd? Haa, well, you can manage the Mphil grade at least some folks started from there and completed their PhD.

Investment / Re: Let Me Sponsor Your Idea by onlyme07(m): 7:12pm On Oct 09, 2019
My idea - I have done the visibility study of my area of about more than 5000+ residents. Here, we have all classes of people. Private Schools and some business owners but something is lacking. There is no business center for printing of documents, registration, POS, and other computer jobs that I can personally handle. I did the same hustle when I was in Uni. I write projects, sell jamb scratch cards, register waec etc. I have the business instincts and I can even add agency which would just be an added advantage.

However, I lack capital and all I need is a container shop (easy to move incase the owner intends to use the land), funds to buy printer (black and coloured), subsrcibe for first bank PoS agent and little funds for chairs and table. In no distant time, things would get bigger to expand as I intend creating name for my company. I love starting small so as to learn very well.

As I said, I have once used it in paying my bills while in school despite my disabiliyty. I hustle real good and I love it. My returns will be based on agreed terms and conditions. For the computer, I'd make use of my personal laptop till I get one or two deskstop. Starting small is my code. I'd be the first person to start such biz in the area which is well secured.

I'll appreciate if I can be considered.
Politics / Nigerian Youths by onlyme07(m): 8:52am On Oct 01, 2019
Nigerian youths, can we just stand up for once and face the reality on ground?

Can we just speak with one voice at least for once through our social media handles?

Can we just put behind us ethnicity and religion bigotory for us and tell these old men the real truth.

Can we stand united and decide to take our country back from these old mofos.?

They are labelling us "Lazy youth" and we have failed to prove we ain't lazy. They continue to give peanuts in the same of NSIP when their children are living large.

Let us unite for the sake of our future.

Let me suggest a revolution movement. If we start the campaign now, by 2023,we would have a number of youths at helms of affairs.

We would only vote aspirants of less than 49yrs old into the National Assembly and must possess @least B.Sc. Returning members should not be more than 55yrs with B.Sc

Our President must not be older than 60yrs old with Master's degree @least for now and in subsequent elections, we would reduce it till be phase out old mofos

Aspirants for Governor, must not be older than 55yrs old with M.Sc

All qualifations must be verified before election.

Health / Re: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by onlyme07(m): 6:58am On Jun 20, 2019
Gloriousheart:
May God grant miraculous bfps to all of us still waiting especially those who are tired. Those who have seen others come, get their bfps and moved on and yet are still waiting. I know how it feels. Like God, when will it get to my turn? It is well. Our time is here and Amen.

MY WIDD
I got tired of trying on my own and decided to go further. I decided to try fertility treatments. And opted for IUI -Intrauterine Insemination. I made my findings looking for a reputable hospital with a record for successful IUI not just IVF. Towerofgrace's testimony of using St. Ives, Ikoyi branch, Lagos and getting bfp gingered me. I found others who had successful IUI too with them. So I went to them- St.Ives Ikoyi branch.
Ikeja headquarters was nearer to me but I opted for the particular branch where I had heard real life IUI success experiences of mamas here.

During the course of my investigative tests with them, they saw hydrosalphinx in both tubes with one tube even enlarged. Hydrosalphinx blocks sperms from passing through for those who may not know. How will I do IUI with this? I started asking doc about IVF. Not that I had the money sef neither was I ready for IVF but I knew my chances were slimmer with IUI in light of that. My FSH was also higher than normal. Ah! Kilode? (wetin happen na) I didn't have all these before. What changed? Well, the doc -Dr Osahon of Ikoyi branch encouraged me to still do my IUI and look up to God for success. He never pushed me towards towards IVF even though it would have brought in more money for them.

He prescribed antibiotics for me for the tubes after my HSG. I also started doing castor oil massage which I learnt from here, though without the heating to avoid injury to my surgery site (I had had ovarian cyst removal surgery over a year ago). I just rubbed the castor oil on my tummy and slept off with it. I was told it will still penetrate into the reproductive system.
I believe God used the HSG, antibiotics, castor oil and warm water therapy which I will mention next, to help clear the hydro from my tubes.
Note that I stopped the castor oil before my IUI cycle cos I didn't want anything to disturb the process. Castor oil breaks down adhesions and corrects things. I felt it should have done enough abeg.

I and my DH had started the habit of drinking warm water every morning like an hour or 30mins before food... prior to the cycle I conceived. I even went further to also drink it last thing at night too for a few days. We had not even drunk warm water for two months complete before I conceived. It's just about a month plus we started it. I researched on it and I was amazed at the many benefits.
I also avoided processed sugar and sugary drinks this period. I had actually cut down seriously on sugary things since I discovered they were not good for fertility few years back.

Hubby started Addyzoa like two weeks to insemination just to boost his sperm count though we were not battling with that.

Then St.Ives does double insemination for two consecutive days. No extra charge. We did this.

I also relaxed and slept more on my left side during my successful two week wait. I also drank lots of water. I mean lots like a bottle of water every 3-4 hours. I was told it will help transport the sperms to meet the eggs. And help implantation. I limited my going out during my tww. Relaxed more at home just laying down on my left and only stepped out quickly for very important reasons. This was just to avoid stress that may hamper fertilization and implantation.
In addition, it's advisable to wear thick socks during the tww to keep Uterus warm. I didn't wear socks but I wore thick palm slippers all over the house even in my bedroom.

I didn't pray much this cycle but I prayed sometimes and just asked God for mercy cos I was tired. But I remember that after last year's Shiloh, we were told to go home and praise God with our baby items for some nights. That is do like some minutes midnight praise every night. I really worshipped and praised my God for some nights that period lifting my baby item and pleading and crying sometimes for Him to show me mercy. My new phone even fell one of the nights and the screen broke seriously. I showed God my broken phone an grin and told Him to 'compensate ' me tongue and crown my little efforts with success.
To add to my faith efforts, I brought out my baby item to my sitting room to boldly declare the presence of children in my house. Any visitors that came could see it. I was tired of trying to be careful of not being too forward. Now I didn't care. I had kids in my house. Period. If you like ask me where they were. Na you sabi lipsrsealed tongue

To cap it up, God blessed me with my first bfp on my first IUI try after much tears, waiting, negative reports etc. To Him alone be all the glory. Thank you for reading. I hope I have been able to help or ginger some mamas. God will do it for us all.

Congratulations MA. Please can you give the price range.? I'm also trying to make use of their center over here in Abeokuta. I was told to pay 20k for registration and I don't want to pay without having the full cost implications. Kindly update, please. Thanks

See, there is a difference between learning something from someone who just talks big talk and someone else who does what he says he does.

I'm not playing around. I'm not talking empty. If I say this training will make you money and make you financially free, then I most definitely mean what I say.
