That's a major pre-requisite for teaching in Nigeria. In order to be recognised as a certified/professional teacher,you must have TRCN certificate. If you have B.Ed,PGDE,PDE, B.Sc Ed you should have that by now.

For those who have not applied,the date of birth is usually the problem so,make use of UC browser. When you get to DOB,be patient,make sure you scroll till you get to your DOB even if it is,1909. Just be patient and let it get to that year and month before you click. Fill other info on that page and save before moving to the next page.

That's all. Other steps are very easy.

Under your application number which is above your staff bio-data,you click others by yourself. Eg. Chidlren,educational,upload etc and fill. Make use of computer or desktop mode on your phone

I tbink a mail will be sent to them immediately you input the details of a referee. The person will have to fill the report from his/her email and submit on your behalf. Such report is confidential

If yes, the application was not programmed in such a way that you would be able to submit. What u need to do is to generate your CV from the application process and print 25 copies for submission at the University Registrar's office.

All other things being, after logging in, u should see something like what is in the picture 1. Just click on "print curriculum vitae" and u would see something like what is in the Picture 2 below.

Pleas, advise. My brother wishes to apply for his Post graduate studies at Masters level. He is however confused about the course to chose betweeen (1.) M.A Diplomatic Studies; and (2.) Masters in International Relations and Diplomacy. He studied Philosophy at Bachelors level with Second Class Upper Division. But their teachers salary scale is very poor, even the civil servants sef. I have heared about this recruitment sometimes back, all of them have slots but Nce and b.ed peeps can apply and pray.

51k-60k for BSc teachers and civil servants not too good they can do better.

LASU pays well sha, their scale is different.

Compare with other states before you conclude.

Not sure what you studied but be rest assured that,Lagos employ qualified teachers with relevant degree ie,NCE,B.ED,PDE & PGDE.

I advise folks to start sending their transcript as soon as you're certain of admission. For example,some depts don't do departmental test while some do. Therefore,as soon as your EPT and you score above 40,you can go ahead however,if your dept conduct test after EPT,I advice you cross the hurdle as well before sending otherwise,it's waste of money but if you're certain you will scale through,you can send anytime you wish.

NB: Don't let 40 be your target,pls. Some depts like mine are saying we are too much in class hence,next set will be lesser which means,the cut off will not be disclosed in several depts. Youl will just see that,despite making the cut-off you're not given admission. 50 should be your target to be safe. All the best.
