The election is contested and the two parties involved have sent different electors. Congress have to check and verify which ones to select - irrespective of what a corrupt governor and secretary of a state put forward.

What will happen now is the electoral votes chosen today will go to Congress. Unless both House and Senate disagree, then the electoral votes will stand.

Even in the Senate, with a majority of only 4, there are enough bold Republicans (read RINOs) that will certify Biden such that both House and Senate will confirm the electoral votes - mind you he only needs House to confirm.

Another thing to remember is that Senators are on 6 year terms and many of them have tenure till 2026 and cannot be as easily bullied as House of Reps who only serve two year terms and are scared shïtless of Trump primarying them in 2022. That's why we saw 126 püssy Republican Reps sign up to that foolish Texas lawsuit but not one Senator.
