PoliticsRochas Will Be President In 2023 by Onuohaaa(op): 1:06pm On Apr 13, 2022
2023: HATE HIM OR LOVE HIM,
ROCHAS OKOROCHA REMAINS THE MOST VALUABLE, ACCEPTABLE, SELLABLE, AND TOLERABLE PRESIDENTIAL MATERIAL, THE IGBOS HAVE AS WE SPEAK.
BEYOND THE SOUTHEAST WHERE HE COMES FROM, HE IS AND REMAINS THE ONLY IGBO MAN, WHO CAN DEFEAT ANY OTHER PERSON FROM THE SOUTH, IN ANY PART OF THIS COUNTRY, ON POPULAR VOTES.

AND ALSO GIVE "HOT CHASE" TO ANY CANDIDATE FROM THE NORTH IN ANY PART OF THIS COUNTRY, INCLUDING THE NORTH.
IN KANO, BEFORE ME, MAITMA SULE SAID, THE NORTH HAS NO REASON TO REFUSE ROCHAS OKOROCHA ANYTHING IF HE ASKS. THAT, "HE HAD DONE FOR THE NORTH, WHAT THE NORTH COULD NOT DO FOR THEMSELVES AND WHAT NO NORTHERNER HAS DONE FOR THE NORTH ".

AND RELATED OR SIMILAR TESTIMONIES IN THE SOUTH WEST, SOUTH-SOUTH, ETC.
OKOROCHA'S ACCEPTANCE IN EVERY PART OF THE COUNTRY GOES BEYOND POLITICAL PARTIES AND ETHNIC BIAS.
ANY IGBO MAN GENUINELY PURSUING THE 2023 IGBO PRESIDENCY, SHOULD OPT FOR OKOROCHA OR FILE BEHIND OKOROCHA.
THE FEAR OF OKOROCHA, IS THE REASON FOR THIS CONSENSUS STUFF.
IGBO LEADERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO READ THE HANDWRITING ON THE WALL. SHUN THEIR SENTIMENTS. COUNT THEIR TEETH WITH THEIR TONGUES AND FACE THE REALITY ON GROUND.

THE REALITY IS THAT, IF THEY WANT TO BE PRESIDENT IN 2023, THEY SHOULD SETTLE FOR OKOROCHA. THAT'S THE ONLY IGBO MAN, AS WE SPEAK, THE REST OF NIGERIANS CAN TRUST WITH POLITICAL POWER.
DON'T BELIEVE ME, BUT THAT'S THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER. IT GOES BEYOND PERSONAL ANIMOSITY AGAINST HIM, BY ANYBODY, AND FOR ANY REASON.
THANK YOU.

I HAVE, UNLIKE ME, WRITTEN IN CAPITAL LETTERS, TO SHOW OR STRENGTHEN THE SERIOUSNESS OF THIS POST, BECAUSE TIME IS OF GREAT ESSENCE. AND IT WAITS FOR NOBODY.
My name is Sam Onwuemeodo.

PoliticsOsinbajo Declares (unpopular Opinion) by Onuohaaa(op): 5:16pm On Apr 11, 2022
1. Osinbajo’s declaration speech was watery and baseless. First of all, how could he say he is running to “complete the task” that Buhari started? Buhari stated extreme poverty and overwhelming security for Nigeria. Under Buhari, our country’s debt has grown from ₦12 trillion in 2015, to almost ₦50 trillion this year (if the new ₦6 trillion loan requests are granted. If Osinbajo is running to “complete” that, then he is running to destroy what is left of Nigeria!

2. Osinbajo said he is running to “provide jobs for millions”. Those were his exact words. The fellow has been in charge of Nigeria’s economy for the last seven years, according to Buhari, who boasted that Osinbajo heads his economic management team. Yet, Nigerians have lost jobs created by other administrations. His job record is FAILURE! Nigeria has fewer jobs now than in 2015, and our unemployment rate has increased from 12% in 2015 to 33% according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

3. Osinbajo said he wants to “birth the expectations of greatness” for Nigeria. Under his leadership of Buhari’s economic management team, Nigeria became the world headquarters for extreme poverty. We do not need Osinbajo’s type of ‘expectation’!

4. Osinbajo in his declaration speech said he “remained focused on securing the country”. That is an insult to the intelligence of Nigerians. Under Osinbajo and Buhari, Nigeria became the 3rd most insecure nation on Earth. Only Iraq and Afghanistan are worse than us. We just witnessed a train bombing and the abduction of over a hundred Nigerians who are still with terrorists. Over 700 of our soldiers have been killed in the last 18 months. If that is what Osinbajo’s focus produces, then we don’t need it!

5. For years, Osinbajo has been posing as an intellectual. So, at the very least, we expected his declaration speech to be filled with his achievements in office. But it was instead filled with promises. Empty promises. Because he and Buhari have no achievements to show for their wasted seven years!

6. Osinbajo fooled us with his empty promises in 2015. Now, he is making new promises. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Don’t forget how he was doing Trader Moni during the last elections. Did he not abandon it after he and Buhari rigged themselves to a second term?

7. In summary, Osinbajo’s declaration speech was as short as him, because he has no achievements, no plans, and no priorities. The only thing he has are promises. And let us not forget that this was the same man who promised to create 3 million jobs annually. The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. And Osinbajo’s past betrays him as an echo of Buhari’s cluelessness!

PoliticsRE: Rochas Switches from APC to PDP, & Picks Nomination Form by Onuohaaa(op):
...PRESS RELEASE...

RE: (1). COUNCILLORS ELECTED UNDER OKOROCHA ENDORSE MBATA FOR SENATE.
(2). ROCHAS OKOROCHA PICKS PDP NOMINATION FORM.
The two captions above, refer.

Our reaction:
1. All the Councillors, elected under Distinguished Senator Rochas Okorocha as governor, from May 29, 2011, to May 28, 2019, are still intact. Not one of them has left the Rescue Mission political family. This is our earnest or candid claim and we would like to be challenged or contradicted.

2. The elected Councillors under Okorocha, are all grassroot politicians and they have been waiting for instructions, from the head or leadership of the political family to know the way to go. They are disciplined people, who believe in a course and not those who meander. Or, who are in the business of meandering.

3. So, none of them had signed or would sign to endorse any candidate, either for the governorship, the Senate, or for any other position. They have remained united.

4. In other words, the report of Councillors elected under Okorocha endorsing an aspirant for the Senate, was false and those behind the f story knew that they were lying.

5. At this juncture, we challenge those behind the laughable claim to publish any elected Councillor under Okorocha, who signed to endorse any aspirant or candidate, including the aspirant they mentioned.

6. lt is on record that, in lmo today, Okorocha has the most formidable, trusted, and united Political family, that is ever ready for an election at any given time. Not a disjointed political family that is populated by appointment seekers. Such people are in transit. They are, "To whom it may concern politicians".

7. We also want to say that, Okorocha is the Presidential aspirant to beat in APC. And there is no reason for him to "secretly pick PDP nomination forms".

8. Okorocha is the only aspirant in the South, who has all it takes to win the 2023 Presidential election for APC. He is a Nigerian with the needed clout. Not anyhow aspirant.

9. Those behind all these invidious stories know the fact. And the fact is that Okorocha is standing very strong and tall, concerning the APC Presidential ticket and winning the 2023 Presidency for APC. QED or do we say, SIMPLICITA.

10. For the avoidance of doubt, we want to say and categorically too that, the story of APC, can not be told without Okorocha being mentioned as one of the core founders of the party and the man who brought it to the South East, when those enjoying the party today, were not there.

11. So, trying to use blackmail to push Okorocha out of APC, won't work.

12. Okorocha left as lmo Governor on May 28, 2019. More than three years now. Yet, in lmo today, people wake up every day to remember Okorocha, including those we see as imaginary opponents. Okorocha has become an institution and there is nothing anybody can do about that.

No one curses who God has blessed. it's scriptural.

Sam. Onwuemeodo.

CrimeAPC Presidential Aspirant Speaks On Kaduna_bound Train Attack by Onuohaaa(op): 2:20pm On Mar 31, 2022
The former Governor of lmo State and Senator Representing lmo West Senatorial District, Senator Rochas Okorocha, has described the Kaduna-bound train attack, as a national disaster.
He also described the incident as a new dimension to the nation's security challenge.
Senator Okorocha urged Nigerians, both at home and in diaspora, to remain steadfast, in praying for the nation and the victims of the ugly and shocking incident.

He prayed to GOD ALMIGHTY, to grant the souls of those who lost their lives in the mayhem, eternal rest. And grant members of their respective families the fortitude to bear these great losses.
Okorocha also prayed to God to give those wounded in the attack a quick recovery.

He expressed optimism that one day, the challenge of insecurity confronting the nation at the moment, will become a thing of the past.
Okorocha noted that the Kaduna-bound train attack, was also an eye-opener, to a new dimension to the issue of insecurity on our rail transport and explained that steps must now be taken, to ensure that such incident does not happen again.

PoliticsBut Then Came A Man...rochas by Onuohaaa(op): 1:59pm On Mar 29, 2022
At a time when quality education has become expensive and a prerogative for high and middle-class citizens, it is normal to hear statements like ”school na scam” or “no be by who go school, na by who know who”. And this is because less privileged kids struggle and manage to go to school, graduate (sometimes with excellent results), and cannot get decent jobs because ‘they do not know anybody’. This used to be the status quo, but then came a man…ROCHAS.

Rochas Owelle Okorocha has managed to demolish the barrier that separated privileged kids from less privileged kids. Through his foundation, he has managed to provide free education at all levels of education (primary to tertiary) for less privileged kids. He has built over 13 schools in Nigeria and his foundation is not limited to providing free education and welfare for Igbo people or just one geo-political zone. The presence and goodwill of his foundation can be felt in all six geo-political zones in the country. and such is the slogan for his foundation, Advocating the right to education for every African Child. His foundation also goes further to cater to the welfare and needs of all these children. Such has been the story of;
· Anyola, a pupil from Ibadan
· Ayuba, a pupil from Jos
· Christian, a pupil from Owerri
· Esther who is now married with two sons and doing well with her family
· Mustapha who could not speak English properly in his childhood but is now studying medicine and surgery at Bayero University Kano
· Nkiru was sent to the US for a few weeks with other students as a reward for their exceptional performance.
· and also ASPs Abdulsalam Suleiman and Emmanuel Ifeanyi Madueke who are ex-students of the foundation and have now graduated from the police academy

Senator Rochas has provided quality and sound education to the less privileged and made hard work the only tuition he expects to be paid by these students, thus earning him the nickname ‘Commander for Free Education’.

When the sitting minister of state for education can tell the members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities who were merely advocating for their income which had not been paid that they should “consider farming as an alternative profession. The Federal Government of Nigeria has turned its back on education by giving someone who has proven he has no right to have a say in educational matters such a huge stake in the Nigerian educational system.

This is just one of the numerous reasons why Senator Rochas is the right man for the presidential villa. A man who has dedicated resources times without number to make sure education is a right and not a privilege, a daddy and mentor to so many, and a source of inspiration and subject of attraction and admiration to generations.

PoliticsApc's Presidential Zoning by Onuohaaa(op): 6:35pm On Mar 24, 2022
The birth of APC is traced back to 6th February 2013. APC is the merger of CAN, CPC, and ANPP. This ruling party has its core value and objective as inspired by the principle of justice, fairness, and equal distribution of Nigeria’s socioeconomic resources. APC passionately supports democracy, democratic institutions, and processes as a means of achieving progress and development under the law. APC believes that while sovereignty resides in the people, their will shall be exercised through free, fair, and peaceful elections.

We saw this in 2015 When Muhammadu Buhari was elected president of the federal republic of Nigeria, the elections conducted was hitch-free, again in 2019 Buhari defeated his close rival Atiku Abubakar with a total of three (3) three million votes and was issued the certificate of return May 29th, 2019.

This is 2022 and the next presidential election comes up the next year 2023, this will be a time for Nigerians to elect their leader for the next four (4) years. How amazing it will be for Nigerians to choose their candidate from the APC. APC is an inclusive party that carries everyone along. Oh! It is no news that there has been a plethora and internal crises in APC, President Muhammadu Buhari has stated that the party can resolve its differences. Everyone looks forward to 26th March the party’s convention. Why are people this excited?, do Nigerians have their candidate already? Will their candidate come from APC? Conventions serve to get party delegates and members organized and excited for an upcoming election.

The purpose of life is not to be happy, it is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well. Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha is a man of honor, a man who lives with compassion and who has stayed true to making a difference since 1998 when he founded Rochas Foundation Inc. The Rochas Foundation has produced over six thousand (6,000) great Nigerians who are doing exceptionally well in different fields such as; law, medicine, science.

A good number brace themselves as army officers, air force officers, police officers. At the age of 55, Owelle Rochas launched the project 55-5-55 meaning fifty-five (55) African countries to provide five (5) orphans yearly for free education up until university level which marks his 55th birthday celebration. Presently Rochas foundation college of Africa has orphaned children from all over the African continent. These include Ethiopia, South Sudan, Lesotho, Gambia, Uganda, Republic of Niger, Guinea e.t.c. This is born out of his ingenuity for education, Rochas doubles his academic honors; First school leaving certificate at st. Joseph’s primary school, Barkin Ladi Plateau state, GCE/WAEC at Juladaco high school Kassa Barkin Ladi Plateau state, Diploma in public administration at the University of Jos, advanced diploma in law, security and conflict management at the University of Jos, postgraduate diploma in management Benue state.

Indeed the love of learning is the most necessary passion in it lies true happiness. Rochas also holds career positions as president Nigerian Red cross society, President Rochas group of companies, pro-chancellor African business school, former chairman board of Nigeria airspace management agency. Owelle Rochas is erudite and this is who Nigeria needs, Nigeria is a rich, beautiful, and blessed country which needs to be propelled by the new Nigeria where the giver and receiver experience extreme joy. A new Nigeria that wouldn’t focus on tribes but humanity, A new Nigeria that promotes expertise and love for her citizens.

I see APC’s candidate being his Excellency Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha and not just being a candidate but the man who will take on the mantle as the president of the federal republic of Nigeria.
EducationEducation And Its Impact On Society by Onuohaaa(op): 1:20pm On Mar 23, 2022
We are all aware of the difference education makes in the life of a child. We are aware of the exploits an educated mind can achieve. As technology and culture change, the role of education evolves. The core purpose of education will always remain the same, which is to empower people with important information and skills so they can be successful in the future, hopefully contributing to bettering society. Education is a vital part of society and a community growing and advancing in general.

Being a major investment in human development, Education plays a vital role in the long-term productivity and growth of society and any society interested in growth and development does not handle education with kid gloves.
Rightfully so, Nigeria has found a “messiah” from the unnecessary recklessness our education sector has been subjected to. Year after year, hope in the educational sector is shattered as the sector groans under abandonment, lack of access to quality education and facilities, Poor funding, corruption, indiscipline, mismanagement of resources, and even politicization.

A man passionate about the future of the Nigerian youths, he sees education as “Life itself”. A man so passionate about education he came up with the idea of free education through his foundation, the Rochas Foundation.
For 25 years, the Foundation has provided educational succor to the less privileged, those whose financial status stood as a barrier to their dreams of a better future on the wings of quality education. With various branches all over Nigeria and beyond, the foundation is accessible to everyone irrespective of their religious or ethnic divide, political or financial status. Over 20,000 children/youths have benefited from this philanthropic feat, including those in other African countries.

We believe in making government work - and that means having a government that is transparent, decent, and candid. We need to take our civic institutions seriously again and remember what terrible things can happen when we don’t. So that’s what we should be doing to make the government work for everyone.

If you're tired of politics as usual and fed up by how little respect elected leaders show for the people who sent them to office, then there's hope. We can fix this. We have the power not just to channel change at the ballot box but to bring that change about. It’s time to put government back in the hands of a movement of people. This is an invitation to change that you won't find anywhere else.
This is an invitation to the vision of a New Nigeria.
We are ready.
Are you?

PoliticsThe Rochas Foundation by Onuohaaa(op): 1:50pm On Mar 22, 2022
We can boldly say that now, more than ever, the population of children and youths has risen, and with it raises the risk that faces them (especially those in Africa). This is because of the factors which hinder their development, poverty being a major one. Therefore, there is a need for putting the children and youths at the forefront of our discussion as most of them are not from financially stable homes capable of providing quality education for them as they will determine the quality of society’s future.

Birthed from the desire to give every child a chance at a better future, the Rochas Foundation started as a family affair in Owerri, with cook-outs, gifting the less privileged, going to churches and mosques with welfare packages.

With its headquarters in Owerri, Imo state, the Rochas Foundation was Established in 1998 and so far has trained 25,000 children, 6000 graduates, some of whom are now in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Google. It has been 24 years of providing free and quality education to the less privileged children in society, giving them a level playing ground with their privileged peers.
The vision includes alleviating the plight of handicapped and less privileged children through free and comprehensive secondary school education and also accommodation for poor children, thereby giving hope to the hopeless and sensitizing the populace on several health issues like HIV/AIDS prevention and quality living.

The Foundation is not peculiar to a certain zone in Nigeria, as it has colleges in Owerri, Sokoto, Ibadan, Cross River, Enugu, Owerri, Kano, Yola, Zaria, Jos, to name a few. The gesture was also expanded to 55 African countries, and indigent children were randomly selected and given free education up to the university level.

It will be recalled that the Olubadan, His Royal Majesty Akanmu Adetunji (Aje Ogungunniso) of Ibadan and the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) honored him with the award of “ Outstanding friend of Ibadan land in recognition of his contribution to the education of indigent children through his free education policy and establishment of tuition-free schools in Ibadan, Oyo state. 6000 children from Oyo states and other Southwest states have benefited from his free education program the award caps the grand finale of the 2021 Ibadan Cultural Festival Celebration at the liberty stadium.

In his words, “we in Ibadan have decided to celebrate you now and outside your territory to show that a burden has created a deserved permanent place for you in her territory. You are most deserving of this honor by virtue of this establishment. This unique youth empowerment legacy of yours remains indelible in our minds till eternity. It is also a testimony to the fact that you have what it takes to reposition our great country.”

As he received the award, he also stated that measures had to be put in place to eradicate poverty. According to him, it wasn’t borne out of the desire to flagrantly display wealth but to a covenant with God Almighty and urged collective efforts for a better future for our youth and children.

The Foundation is funded by various sets of businesses ranging from real estate to hospitality.
Not all heroes wear capes. Some give children and youths a better future.

“If there’s anything we can do in our time to help humanity, let us do it now for we might not pass this way again”.

PoliticsRochas by Onuohaaa(op): 1:33pm On Mar 22, 2022
Life’s most persistent and urgent question is “what are you doing for others?”
Creating impact in society stems from the development of the future and until we deliver the political solutions that create peace and stability, we must first implement the humanitarian solutions that create hope and stability across the region as failure to do so will haunt us all for decades to come
Patricia Gyang, a mother to one of the beneficiaries of the Rochas Foundation, said he was a Godsent, as she was physically unable to provide funds for her son, Joshua. Speaking through him, she prayed for God’s blessing and protection as he continues his charity towards humanity by providing tuition-free education and scholarships for children.
Another beneficiary, Kayang Rosemary, an ss2 student thought her life had come to an end after staying out of school for 1 year due to a paucity of funds. According to her, “I took advantage of the Foundation’s help and wrote the exam to secure entrance into the school. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity”.
“I never met my Father, says John Thaddeus, who said he was left to experience hardship without access to education as he lived with his maternal grandparents with one of them physically impaired and the other visually impaired. “We heard about the foundation and now I have quality education more than those who are even privileged to have their parents alive,” he enthused.
Also, in the aspect of welfare, Rochas Okorocha has proved himself as a compassionate man who has the well-being of the youths and populace at heart.
During festive periods, cash and bags of rice are shared among the less privileged in Imo as well as gree fueling for transporters and help to those who lost their loved ones or beneficiaries to insecurity in Imo state.
My target is to take 1 million less privileged children off the street.

PoliticsThe Rochas Back Story by Onuohaaa(op): 5:34pm On Mar 16, 2022
Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha is a popular Nigerian politician known for his astuteness.
The former Governor of Imo state and currently a Senator representing Imo West, Imo State was born on the 22nd of September, 1962 in Igboko, Ideato South, Imo State. His background was not so encouraging as he wasn’t born with a silver spoon. In fact, he described his family’s state when growing up as “all shades of grey”. This spurred him into becoming an enterprising young lad. He hawked groceries in Barkin Ladi, Jos.

His story is note-worthy as he did some notable things like;
Buying a Television at the age of 9.
Purchasing a bus at the age of 14.
Becoming the head of a commercial school at 19.
Becoming the proprietor of a school at the age of 23.

He attended Juladeco High School, Jos. He obtained a Diploma in Public Administration at the University of Jos between 1990-1991. In 1993 he returned and obtained an advanced diploma in Public Administration.
Before his venture into politics, he was;
President, Rochas Group of Companies Limited
President/Founder, Rochas Foundation Inc
President of Nigeria Red Cross Society
Pro-Chancellor, African Business School
Former Chairman, Board of Nigerian Airspace Management Agency.

Rochas served as a commissioner on the Federal Character Commission and also a member of the National Constitutional Conference. With the restoration of democracy in 1999, Rochas competed in the primaries to be the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for governor of Imo State but he didn’t get it. After then, he moved to the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP). In 2003, he contested as president under the platform of the ANPP and again, just like the previous time, it didn’t fall through. After his return to the PDP, Fmr. President Olusegun Obasanjo appointed him as Special Adviser on Inter-Party Affairs. In 2005, he formed a party known as Action Alliance (AA). His plans were to contest as President under the AA in the 2007 elections. For personal reasons, he returned back to PDP again.

He later left the PDP for the APGA to run as the APGA candidate for Imo state Governor in the April 2011 elections in Imo. Earlier in December, 2010, APGA had suspended him from the party but regardless, he went on to campaign as APGA governorship candidate and won. And though there Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the election inconclusive due to some said irregularities, the final results had Rochas emerging as winner after he got 336,859 votes.

In 2013, he left for the All Progressive Congress (APC) and then contested in the 2015 general elections for a second term in office with the former deputy speaker, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha as a major opponent. The election, which held on 11th April 2015 after the initial date was shifted by six weeks due to perceived security threat. The election was eventually declared inconclusive also. After a re-run ordered by the INEC due to the 79,000 differences between the votes scored by the leading and the second candidate. After the re-run, Rochas won the 2015 Imo state Governorship election.
His move to lead some members of the APGA to form the APC in 2013 was thereafter followed by his being elected the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum.

Furthermore, after his tenure as a two term serving Governor of Imo State, he contested for the senatorial seat at the National Assembly and won. He was issued a certificate of return on 11th June, 2019 and was sworn in on 13th June 2019 by Ahmed Lawan, the Senate President.

PoliticsDid You Know?? by Onuohaaa(op): 5:57pm On Mar 10, 2022
Did you know - that the Rochas foundation was founded by Rochas Okorocha in 1998? Just kidding, that’s public news. Anyone who bothered to at least google the man knows this. You would also know that the foundation is actively invested in all 6 geo-political zones in this country. There are numerous scholarship programs in the country but there is none that does not just reward academic excellence, but makes sure all of its beneficiaries are people who ordinarily cannot afford education and does not just waive their tuition fee, but goes on to cater for them and provides their basic needs and wants, even deodorants (correct me if I’m wrong).

The ‘doubting Thomas’ in you is probably asking “what is his angle? Why make so much money just to give it out helping people you barely know?”..there has got to be an angle. Truth be told, I also had my doubts until I did my homework on the so-called “Grand Commander of Free Education”.

There isn’t any angle or endgame, absolutely none, what you will find is just passion or rather a driving force fueling this passion to educate every child who can not afford education. His Excellency Senator Rochas Okorocha grew up poor, he knows what it feels like to not be able to afford education because your parents cannot make ends meet.

He experienced it and made a vow to do the best within his ability to make sure no child goes through what he went through growing up, and we have to admit, he has done an excellent job. He said and I quote, “what do you say of a police sergeant, whose salary is N50,000, and who goes to buy a bag of rice for N30,000, N40,000, N35,000 and has 7 children, to send to school?” Omo x1000. Yet, there are people who still say we do not need Rochas at the helm of power directing the affairs of our great nation.

God whenhuh
We don’t have to ask this question again. We can finally have good governance and not have to bother God with that funny question again, but only if we vote for the right person.

First things first:
-Go get your PVC
-Do your research and look beyond the stories the media feeds you
-For everything the media puts out, look for evidence that back it up, and remember
-Smear campaigns are easy to run

PoliticsA Christian To Emulate by Onuohaaa(op): 11:48am On Mar 10, 2022
A Christian to emulate. A Christian not just by word of mouth and speech but most importantly, a Christian at heart who has put it times without number into practice. A man who has made it a character and habit to find where help is in high demand and in low supply and made it a goal to provide help to people who cannot afford it, such that his foundation has its presence felt in all six geo-political zones in the country. A man born by the east, raised by the north and made by the west. A man who has made Muslims his friends and has never considered tribe before helping people.

Senator Rochas Okorocha – a descendant of King David, as he has proven that he is a man after God’s own heart, such that:
-He built a chapel so the children of God can come together and worship The Lord. This 3000-capacity architectural masterpiece is one of a kind and is the centre of attraction for a lot of worshippers in Imo state.
-He continues to give without expecting anything in return, he is proof that givers never lack as God always replenishes whatever they gave away.

In the streets, they say “don’t mess with me, and I won’t mess with you”. Science also proves it, for every action, there is an equal but opposite rection, The Bible also says, “Do unto others as you want them to do to you”. I think its about time we shoe Senator Rochas some of that love and kindness he has showered on us by supporting him on his presidential bid.

Nairaland GeneralProverbs 22:6 by Onuohaaa(op): 4:20pm On Mar 09, 2022
I was involuntarily listening to a radio program while I was inside one of these vehicles that do ‘along’ on my way to work in Abuja last week. I don’t usually do radio programs so you would imagine my frustration listening to this man speaking pidgin as I was already late for work on my first week on the job, I just dey imagine how when I finally buy my Benz, how nobody for this Abuja go hear word again.
In the midst of my fantasies, something the radio host was saying drew my attention. He was talking about how our leaders are scared of their children, that they steal our money then their kids then steal this money from them and spend it waywardly, buying race cars and racing the streets of the Federal Capital Territory. It reminded me of the conversation I had with a colleague a day or two earlier where he told me that some of these rich and spoilt kids even self harm and do bizarre stuff just to get the attention of their parents, omo x1000, e be things!
They say, ‘if you raise your children well, you can spoil your grandchildren, but if you spoil your children, you would have to raise your grandchildren’. I have seen first hand how it is the norm for rich parents to over pamper their kids and the result is kids who are reckless, irresponsible and wayward. In some cases, these kids even suffer emotional, psychological and/or mental problems due to their improper upbringing. I have a friend who is quite privileged and confided in me once about his relationship with his dad. He said, whenever he has a problem and is trying to talk to his dad about it or even just trying to reach his father, what he gets is a credit alert in response, sometimes his calls are not even taken by his dad who cares more about his business and career than his family. He said, he is glad that he enjoys all the privileges he’s enjoying, he had all he wanted growing up, he vacationed overseas occasionally and he is not trying to negate the fact that he wants the money, but sometimes all he wants is his dad’s attention, not a credit alert anytime he dials his dad’s number, in his words, “no be everything be money”. Obviously, I couldn’t relate. As the last child, I had enough of my dad growing up and I want the credit alert biko!
Now, the reason for all this plenty ‘turanci’ is, I have observed the Okorocha family from a distance, how closely knitted the family is, his relationship with his children and how responsible all of his children are. I know for a fact that his children are also entrepreneurs in their own right and are actively invested in the country and involved in His Excellency Rochas Okorocha’s campaign. A perfect example is his first daughter, Uloma Nwosu, who is married to Uche Nwosu. That woman is her father’s backbone. He relies on her a lot to run his campaign and his businesses also and she carries it out with phenomenal efficiency. I don’t know anyone who would build such an empire and leave it in the hands of an incompetent person to run it. She simply embodies the word ‘excellence’.
There has been a lot of criticism about Senator Rochas appointing his family members into places of power, but nobody understands that he does this because he believes in them and they have proven to be responsible and competent enough for the job. He raised excellent kids, who are also following in his footsteps and gearing up to be great citizens of this country. And he has also raised over 50,000 kids in Nigeria.
This is a man who understands that children are the future of this country and as a result of this, he has spent over half of his life investing in this country’s future.

PoliticsThe New Nigeria by Onuohaaa(op): 3:56pm On Mar 09, 2022
Over 2 decades ago and these words remain evergreen in the hearts and minds of Nigerians. “Arise, o compatriots, Nigeria’s call obey.” The new Nigeria calls for a pristine spirit, a compassionate spirit, a benevolent spirit alas called a noble spirit.
A great nation with growth and purity as the colors of her flag; speaking of the green, white and green. Spreading out her rich culture of 250 ethnic groupings with 500 plus languages as well as her exquisite heritage.
His Excellency Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha is a passionate and enthusiastic Nigerian entrepreneur who entered politics not for what it could give him, but for what he could give. Bracing himself with the country’s ramifications and her democracy, His Excellency has been able to effect great changes in his community. In 1998, the Rochas Foundation was incorporated in order to serve humanity whilst building a credible future for Africa, a truly benevolent endeavor.
The new Nigeria calls for inclusiveness of her traditional rulers, her youth to serve as the bedrock of the productivity of the nation currently over 180 million of which 35.62 percent are regarded as youths which span from ages 15 and 35 it is without a shadow of a doubt that the youths major in great talents in the world and the new Nigeria seeks to give these talents, even more, exposure, women relevance will be sort for because core family values remain imperative.
The endless contribution will not be ignored because Nigerians continue to stand out in their chosen fields around the world, the armed forces will remain appreciated for severally proving their great love for Nigeria through the endless sacrifice of protecting the integrity of our nation. Education will not be a way of life but life itself is not looked at as a privilege but seen as a right. Social production will be solely encouraged.
A new Nigeria where everyone speaks and acts like one. Where the tribes, religions, or politics do not play a major role. Where all cultures and beliefs are cherished like beautiful pets and our differences are seen to be the greatest strengths. Where there is no discrimination against people of other persuasions. Here, we all matter in society and that is what will call Home sweet home. In this era, Nigerian citizens will live their lives to their fullest potential without fear of death or poverty in their hearts. That will be Nigeria we wish for.
PoliticsThe Gift Of Giving by Onuohaaa(op): 9:54am On Mar 09, 2022
“I’m not in politics for what I can get, I’m in politics for what I can give” - The beauty in those words! Fam… angels do exist, and they walk and live among us. A man born to serve, has been serving, is currently serving and still wants to serve.

LOW net-worth individuals are the most under-served group on the planet, in terms of accessing education, health and economic freedom. Sadly, Africa has become the global epicenter of underdevelopment, entwined in a web of corruption, injustice and hopelessness. That’s why Senator Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha created this amazing initiative (Rochas Foundation) to accelerate development by equipping over 1 million children across Africa with an education to even the odds for them to be able to have a chance at life. It is estimated that only 20% of Africa’s wealthiest citizens have a high school diploma. The Foundation will partner with renowned philanthropists, business leaders and universities around the world to offer finishing programs for those who aspire to gain post-secondary education qualifications in Health Sciences, IT and Engineering subjects which can lead to employment and advancement opportunities. The program will cover tuition fees and living expenses starting from USD 2000 per month per student.

Perhaps 20 years is a long time for a lot of people. Indeed many would use every opportunity to let you know that twenty represents two decades. But for Owelle Rochas Okorocha, founder and President of Rochas Foundation, time only flies in a daze and leaves one with a nostalgic feeling. Because, its difficult to imagine a dream grow into a behemoth; like the roots of the cedar – strong, expanding and un-put-down-able. You ignore it to your peril.

Born without the proverbial silver spoon, the young Rochas Okorocha helped his mother to eke a living by hawking on the streets. Of course, the prospect of not going to school or completing his education was a constant challenge to the rather humongous dreams and aspirations of the young boy. Yet, he remained undaunted and instead pulled himself by the boot straps to emerge one of the wealthiest Nigerians in contemporary history. Except that his wealth was dipped in unimaginable instinct for giving.

Perhaps, it was his past that conditioned his present and ultimately propelled him to set his eyes on the future and eventually to the plight of the down trodden and less privileged. Once he got money, he began to seek out children who reflected his past. He went deeper into the crevice to seek children with worse trajectory – orphaned and indigent, and gave them hope. But, more importantly, he offered free and qualitative education to the children.

The journey, which irrevocably set him apart and on the path of philanthropy, started in a mosque known as Masalanci Dunma, in Jos, capital of Plateau State, Nigeria where he fed homeless and indigent children, as well as other less privileged persons. Bothered by the fact that those fed weekly returned to their lives of uncertainty and penury, Owelle came up with a strategy that could permanently take them out of extreme poverty and want. The outcome was the birth of Rochas Foundation.

Founded February 24, 1998, the foundation has committed itself to providing free and qualitative education to indigent and orphaned children, beginning from primary to secondary and to university education. Today, the Rochas Foundation Colleges spread across Nigeria – Ibadan, Sokoto, Kano, Zaria, Yola, Bauchi, Jos, Enugu, Owerri and Ogboko, where these children total scholarship stand as a testament of the milk of kindness that flows from his generous heart.

Owelle Rochas likewise blazed the trail when he pioneered the establishment of Rochas Foundation College of Africa (ROFOCA) in Owerri in 2017. The school consists of 275 orphaned children from 55 countries in Africa, with each country providing 5 kids. Again, the children ROFOCA enjoy free and qualitative education never imagined possible in their respective countries.
PoliticsThe Story That Was Not Told by Onuohaaa(op): 4:37pm On Mar 08, 2022
The media. The news, what goes on air, online and on print is the most powerful tool in the right hands, at the same time it may be nothing but ‘9 O’clock news’ , another pop up notification that we immediately swipe to clear or just a boring newspaper that will end up being used in the sale of suya in the wrong hands. He who controls the press, controls the narrative and he who controls the narrative, controls the masses.
As a result of the smear campaign targeted at Senator Rochas, a man who was known as a saint suddenly became hated by his own people. This was all because his enemies controlled the narrative. It was easy to paint a bad picture of him to the world because that’s what the world enjoys seeing; the drama, scandals, bad press, compromising information, dirty laundry, skeletons in the closet, etc. Everybody wants to listen to gossip, or as we like to call it, ‘juicy gist’, regardless of who it is about. The media feeds this misinformation to the world and we feed off of it like almajiris at the park who are finally offered food by a kind traveller.
Over the next couple of months, I will discredit, not just by word of mouth but also with the use of evidence that the world has been grossly misinformed about His Excellency, Senator Rochas Okorocha.
Yours Sincerely
